PaintCrew 2022 Golf

Rough day obviously for my 2 Cams…probably out of it but lots of other investments in play one way or another

Taking a nibble on an angry CYoung against Hov but other than that probably just going to enjoy the day and hope one of the Cams throws down an angry 63 and forces Rory to go low to win

1* Young -102 vs Hov

If Cam Smith can get an early bird on a decently hard putt - look out. Just couldn't make one today

Barbie Doll Open: -1.00

Sentry: +10.50 (Smith Winner)
Sony: +2.34 (Kiz & Seamus T3 just missed)
AMEX: -0.15 (no contenders really...)
Farmers overall: -2.55 (whiff all together)
Pebble: +11.75 (Hoge Winner)
Ras Al: -0.5 (whiff)
WM Open: +17.12 (Scottie Winner)
Riveria: -4.75 (big whiff)
Honda: -0.80 (notta)
API: -2.4 (nothing at all)
Players: +15.5 (Smith Winner)
Valspar: -1.50 (Fitz 5th...atleast sniffed around but this one hurt....my boys Burns and Riley in a playoff… and I somehow didn’t play them)
WGC MatchPlay: -1.6 (Kisner 50-1 loses in the title match to Scottie....it hurt)
Valero: -1.0 (screw this entire event and the beginning of wasted $ on Beefcake)
Masters (ouch): -8.71 (lots of regrets here but at least an incredible value bet on Smith 35-1 came close....Scottie beats me again)
RBC: -5.06 (Yuck....Although Dahmen really did have a legit shot at it at 125-1)
Zurich: +0.125 (Higgo/Grace 125-1 nearly get home but to no avail)
Mexico: +9.30 (Riley T5 and almost got the big outright 50-1 home for an epic tourney)
Wells Fargo: +1.50 (3 outrights finish T2....Fitz/Keegs/Cy...)f
Byron: -4.40 (No one really in contention from the get go....slow starts by Burns/Riley Thursday did things in....)
PGA: +3.15 (Peppered the leaderboard all weekend but didn't get home....CYoung co-leader with 4 to play and shit the bed)
Colonial: -2.00 (Another near miss....Riley outright leader coming home and pushes a drive OB on 14)
Memorial: -3.09 (No shame in this one.....Riley/CYoung/Jaco contended from start to almost finish but this was BillyHo's week and BillyHo's alone)
Canada: -2.90 (Finau co-leader going into sunday. 64.....Solo 2nd because Rory became Rory of old)
Scandanavian Mixed: -0.625 (that was dumb)
US Open Overall -5.23 (Bad result in the end and regretted a couple matchups but outrights couldn't have been better capped. Bounces didn't go my way with a host of guys in the mix)

I think I got all the math up to date.....updated first post as well with notes tourney by tourney. Let me know what I missed if anyone is tracking as I'm sure i've got some typos somewhere.

Love the recaps...

Smith twice this year is sooooo sweet personally
..

3 for you with the mullet?
Yes sir was on him for all 3 wins and feel rather vindicated on staying on him in the majors obviously....if you look back he was potentially one chunked chip on 3 at the masters from taking that one and then he put together one of the best ball striking performances in recent memory at the PGA (but lost a half dozen putting) and probably should've run away with the thing. He more than deserved at least 1 IMO (obviously you can say the same for Rory after 4 great showings).

He's my first 3 time winner within a year that's for sure and honestly might be my first 3x winner of any player not named Tiger (and definitely only player who's won at 20x to 1 or more 3 times)....he now moves into Jay Wright and Nova type status and probably will earn himself a place on the wall of the patio this summer even if he's Saudi bound.

I lied I can’t avoid playing my favorite pure swinging young lefty in a birdie fest at this absurd price

0.25* Higgo 130-1
0.25* Higgo T5 22-1

Taking a small shot here with a small bit of house $ from last week but hoping for a bit of a refreshed Riley this week and into the playoffs

I’d say golf probably done for the day. Stinks, but it is what it is. Sigg and Tony were both on rolls too. Sigg up 1 with 8 to go and Tony up 3 with 10 to go whenever they resume.

Willett -110 > Hahn
Tony -115 > Im

Wanted a price on Grillo > Piercy but couldn’t find it anywhere. I’d have laid the juice on that one if I could’ve gotten it.

I'll ride.

I see Grillio -152 on Rivers. Crappy juice considering other side giving +118

Hope you were able to grab Grillo for a 2-1 day. Hahn was just unconscious today. I'm mad I didn't sprinkle Tony +550 before the day - I knew Piercy was going to implode.

Nice relaxing weekend unfortunately with no sweating involved due to Riley being a bit too erratic off the tee and some big distance control issues with short irons and wedges. He went down to Tennessee to work with his coach immediately after the tourney.

3M Open: -3.50

I was. Thanks man. Wasn’t looking good early. I had some Tony +850 too from early Saturday. Got lucky Piercy imploded.

Nice calls once again!

Rocket Mortgage
1* Riley 40-1 - Probably good $ after bad at this point obviously. It is what it is. I'm stubborn. Rolled the dice last week coming off his mini layoff and the rust showed with some misses off the tee but most importantly some distance control issues with the short irons and wedges. Now he comes to the least penal track on tour OTT at twice the odds but probably more where he should be. Time for the break thru W
0.5* JY Kim 50-1
0.5* Pendrith 66-1

Liv Bedminster
1* Beefcake 10-1 - I assumed my guilty pleasure of betting this clown was over but here I am. 12-1's are out there....either way though at this length of a course and a guy who might just be putting it back together in this field mostly full of short hitters where only a few guys will have the power to take advantage of Bedminster? Unfortunately sign me up

FRL
0.5* Stallings 45-1 - Almost tabbed him for an outright as I think he's got a real shot to contend here with his form but i've also got some nostalgia with him cashing a healthy FRL at this same track a couple years back...why not give it a go again?
0.5* Pendrith 60-1

Unfortunately for me I had the stakes wrong here vs what I played. Bets were actually 0.25* each. Hopefully that error worked out in someone elses favor with double the win ;)

However I'm going to make the adjustment on winnings to what it should've been at 0.25* and what's actually in my account

FRL +7.25 (Deadheat split with Finau brings it down to 30-1)

Just going to ride out today and hope Pendrith stays in the mix and who knows maybe Kim or Riley will make a move this morning. Might look for some matchups tomorrow
