Had a plan to start the season. Took a grand total of two nights to stray from that plan. Back to square one... For tonight, was inclined to take the Wiz team total, but they've been maddeningly inconsistent to start the season (only two games, I know, but when you watch them go through long spurts where they either can't score or can't miss, doesn't really instill an abundance of confidence). The Knicks, on the other hand, haven't gotten a thing out of their starting backcourt of Sasha Vujacic and Jose Calderon through two games, which should spell bad news at the elevated pace tonight's game is likely to be played at, as well as having to go up against John Wall and Bradley Beal. The Grizzlies have been a major disappointment on defense to this point, so who knows what tonight brings, but after getting embarassed by the Cavaliers on opening night, expecting them to come up with a way better effort in their 2nd game at FedEx. As for the Nets, offense was a no show last night against the Spurs, and needed 93 shots to get to 100 points on opening night against the Bulls - pretty sure they won't be getting much more than 80 shots off against Memphis, so not too worried about that. Plus, Brook Lopez has been the focal point of the offense the first two nights, so don't think he'll be anywhere near as effective going up against Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol.
