I honestly don't get why Hawks and Cleveland are set 5.5 points favorites.
With Love and Smith the line would have been 7 - 7.5 points?!
I thought Cleveland will get 2.5 - 3 points here.
I can easily see Bulls heading to Chicago split and then series returning to Cleveland still split.
I could easily see this being road series. Both teams are good and without Love and Smith the first two games, it's easily 50 - 50 game in my eyes.

Hawks played great first half in Game 5 and great second half in Game 6. Still, there were the second half in Game 5 and first half n Game 6. Hawks honestly puzzle me, but they are fade material for me for now.
Wizards are great, but clearly, with everything that is coming up now with the Raptors and locker room problems, it's clear that while Wizards are better than bookies thought before Raptors series, but not as good as Raptors made them look.
I believe that Wizards will win the series, but if at first, I thought it would be a sweep, now I'm thinking more 4 - 2 in Wizards favor, with them winning two in Atlanta and two at home.
Bulls and Wizards are my two leans for Game 1, but as was proven for me time after time, sitting out first game of the series, does good things for my wallet.

mentioned in my own thread yesterday about the Bulls line - don;t understand it...

Hawks are going to have a tough time with the Wiz size similar to the nets but wiz a better team...

I don't understand how the Hawks play the first game of round 2 when they were the second to last in round 1. really weird scheduling. Don't know if it's good or bad though. Wizards coming off a looong rest and playing a 1 pm start in Atlanta.... They must have been out watching the fight tonight you'd have to think no?

And yes. Will definitely be looking at Gortat props when they play at home. He's a beast at home.

I thought the Nets did an amazing job at times of defending the 3. Alan Anderson is a far better athlete than Pierce at this point in their careers so I do not see how they'll be able to achieve similar success.

Raptors did not have stretch shooters and it was their downfall. Wiz will be confused with matching up in my opinion. And the bench's aren't close.

It's not. The raptors were horrendous. And it wasn't just the Wizards defense that caused that. That's not good preparation for the Hawks. And Atlanta somewhat took the nets too lightly IMO. This is gonna be a very rude awakening for Washington.

Fine,
it is a stupid fucking statement..

Raptors offense was fine, there defense sucked...

Well we clearly watched two different series. And they both relate to one another. Lowry was awful since February. Their bigs made Gortat look like a hall of famer. Their bench was sporadic. They were fucking awful. By far the biggest disappointment of the playoffs.

The Raptors were the 16th worst team in the playoffs and probably the 25th worst team in the league entering the playoffs.

Exhausted, injured, and all playing hero ball. A roster filled with every other teams rejects.

Their offense was iso DeRozen.

Several non-playoff teams were in better form. Perhaps as many as 10.

Their offense was capable ... Did they play great offensively ? No..
did they have chances to get wins? Yes
why didn't they? They couldn't get stops on the defensive end!

Lol of course it's not over. Because the lead was 9 points?

Atlanta let the Nets come back from DD on several occassions

I'm not talking about the score. That's irrelevant right now. Atlanta is doing whatever it wants on offense.

Will probably be on the Grizzlies 1H. Having a hard time with that game. Gasol has to have a big game

I just can't see Lee playing at that level much longer for the Grizz. And Jeff Green as usual is MIA.

They couldn't contain CJM at all. He looked like Westbrook out there.

Only way they cover IMO is a Pelicans GM1 type one where it's a 5 minute moose.

Believe me I agree w/ you Calimike. I'm on Atlanta here pretty large so I am just staying humble. The Wiz don't bomb 3's like the Nets did at times, either.

I am on the over 1h in gs, I want to go much larger but early start always bugs me... Still might because of Conley being out
open to thoughts.

Korver can't cover beal
pierce can't cover Carroll
Teague/wall a wash
gortat/ horford wash
nene can't cover millsap

Rox > Clippers but Spurs > Rox. Weird how it played out.

Hawks bench hopefully can open things up here to start the 4th but the talk in here after he first quarter, lol

nets was a better matchup that gave Atlanta problems, Washington poses no problems for Atlanta. Wizards lost 21 out of 36 games in the 2nd half...this team shows nothing to make me think they will win this series. i also knew the majority would think Washington would win series after sweeping an overrated raptors team and Atlanta "looked" avg a lot vs Brooklyn.

offensive rebounding, physicality

I thought the wiz were done, I give no credit to their coach....
bench has done well for them , still believe their height is a huge advantage..

I have Wiz ATS, Wiz in a teaser, Wiz for the series. Guess I'm a Wiz believer :)
4 points and 2 minutes to go...

I love the heart that both teams are playing with, but level of basketball... straight continuation of Hawks - Nets series and not second half of Game 6...

They just let the Wiz bully and looked away at some key swings that turned it around about a dozen or so points...

Korver has been unreal bad

they're forcing it

just looks like they are not prepared and trying to win the game by shooting 3's... really great job by washington of adjusting and waking up in the 2h... good job wiz backers

The 4th quarter was dominated by the Wiz defense. But the game shouldn't have been close going into it. They took what the refs gifted them and made the most of it.

Shroder is better than Teague. This offseason they need to resign Millsap and be players in FA. To do that they need to unload Teague and he has significant value.
