Clemson clearly won because they had the far superior QB. I'm sure most thought Clemson had a decided edge there, but it felt like it was a Rodgers vs. Osweiler difference instead of a Rodgers vs. Alex Smith type difference, which is kind of what I expected. Some questionable play calling by Bama, but overall, Hurts just didn't come up with plays other than that last run to put them ahead. I don't get why teams like Bama & LSU never seem to attract that 5 star recruit at the position. All in all, a pretty good game though.
