Utah, Denver, New Orleans.

Mostly I'm just fading the other team. Memphis 3 - 0, but had three very bad games. Grit and grind is nice, but how about some basketball???
Clippers... watching them against the Kings and trying to decide, what team's play I hate more. Missed easy shot one after another...

Clippers are 0 - 4 ATS and play just very poorly. If they would have played good teams, those would have been 40 points losses I think...

I don't get such a low line in Brooklyn.
Why Denver got -4.5 in Oklahoma and Nets get -7 in Brooklyn????

Still thinking. Cokin pick 11/03 07:35 PM NBA (511) UTAH JAZZ at (512) LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS Take: (512) LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS -9 I like to look for spots where I expect a good team to play up to its collective abilities. This will generally mean having to spot a good number of points in the NBA, but it has also proven to be a profitable method for me going back more years than I can even count. The Clippers tossed in a clunker on Sunday as they lost at home to the Sacramento Kings. Fact is, the Clippers are 2-1 out of the gate, but they haven’t really played a complete game yet and ended up paying the penalty yesterday. Losses in games good team no doubt feel they should have won frequently serves as a good wakeup call for these entries. I’ll be hoping that’s the case tonight as the Clipper swing right back into action against the Utah Jazz. The Clippers have moved up the NBA power ranking ladder nicely following so many years of utter mediocrity. I think they’ve got a chance to be an elite entry this season. As it is, they were at least a very solid team last season. The Clippers also did a great job of responding to a loss, as they were 19-5 outright and 18-6 against the spread off a defeat last season. I expect that trend to continue this year and will therefore be considering a play on this squad when in these circumstances. The Jazz opened some eyes with some surprising pre-season play, but got thumped in their first two games that counted. Utah comes into this game off a nice win over the Suns, but if the Clippers are right, it ought to be a long night for the visitors. I’ll bank on the hosts showing more intensity off their initial loss, and I’ll go ahead and spot the points with the Clippers this evening.

Played NO. Calathes suspension is hurting Memphis. Conley 3-14 last game. 6-19 at Indiana. Memphis after 3 games is down 22 rebounds Do not like betting against Memphis after a upset win but NO 8-2 ATS record vs Memphis combined with with the simple fact NO is really good this year makes it a play.

total sitting at 202 with hou/phi
I do not see anyway Hou does not reach 110. Philly seems to be able to score in the first 3 quarters of game and then they avg 14 points in the 4th qu. I want to pop the over but that 4th qu thing scares me, I rem the sixers struggling in the 4th last yr as well

Does anyone have the latest on Howard/Beverley's availability tonight vs Philly? Last I heard was questionable

Check Howard Status who is ? and Harden is Probable and with playing Philly Houston may decide to rest Howard thinking they really don't need him to beat a Philly team. Starting center Sims is also ? for Philly.

I'm sure you seen this but if not

Beverley (hamstring) went through the Rockets' shootaround in advance of Monday's game versus the 76ers, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Spin: Beverley also practiced Sunday, so it appears he'll start as usual Monday against the 76ers. While his status will need to be confirmed prior to tip-off, Beverley's return would figure to relegate Isaiah Canaan to a point guard reserve role.

thanks
had no idea Howard was dinged up
I will wait this out a few hours to see the lineups

P Bev's +/- is 17.5, 2nd highest in the league behind Steph Curry. I did not realize he was that valuable to HOU, Dwight Howards is 13th at +/- 13.0 FWIW

Edit: P Bev was 18th overall player in highest +/- for the entire season last year

Dwight Howard - F/C - HOU - Nov. 3 - 12:15 pm et

Dwight Howard (knee) and Patrick Beverley (hamstring) both went through shootaround on Monday, but each remains questionable to play.
It's a great sign that both guys made it through shootaround, and Howard said the swelling has gone down in his left knee. Still, owners will have to check back for an update on both as it's not certain that either will be able to give it a go, and the Rockets may err on the side of caution this early in the season. If Howard doesn't suit up, Terrence Jones should be in for a monster game while Isaiah Canaan would start at point guard in place of Beverley. Howard's backup, Tarik Black, will not play on Monday.
