April was a roller coaster with highs and lows, but in the end, I did show a profit, so that's the bottom line. I am betting over 90% dogs on ML plays, but do hit a few RL favorites and totals have been good...mostly unders. The totals so far have gone 118-176-15 40.1% which is more than you can expect moving forward. I've already noticed the books setting totals lower, so there may be a solid trend to the over, coming soon.

I think this was one the tougher 1st months I can remember, I was up down up down. Usually come out the gates stronger but as I’ve mentioned several times I think the shortened spring training made things difficult, I’d say just this last week are pitchers starting to look like they hitting their strides/going deeper into games with higher pitch counts. Hasn’t only been pitchers either, surely it at least partially responsible for what appears to be a freaking awful month for hitters! Think I heard they combined for one the lowest averages this past month in I dunno how long, you see some teams that have 4-5 guys at or below the Mendoza line, that disgusting even for this era where crappy averages have become far too except-able (hence the unders!). I think being in the black at all was a big win and should get more consistent efforts going forward which hopefully leads to bigger profits!!!

Trout is rounding back into form with another dong yesterday getting him to 6 HR / 11 RBI / .344. He's seeing lots more good pitches out of the 2-hole with Ohtani hitting behind him. This matinee start completes a 4-game series with the Halos up 2-1.

This season Kuhl has 1 1.82 ERA/0.84 WHIP in 29.2 inn while COL went 4-1. He has 2 quality starts in 2 tries vs the Gints, although both starts were 3-4 years ago. I give SF ~57% chance of winning today, but the odds (-203) imply 67%...this is what I call value, so I'll back the suddenly tanking Rockies at +193.

Of note; the reason I play so early daily is BAS deals a nickel line on the ML until 730am daily so I try to take advantage of that.

• PHI +206 ...Hate to fade the Doyers after they lost last night, but they put forth a great comeback effort only to lose late...so maybe that takes a little air out of their balloon. The crazy thing is ESPN RPI has LAD ranked 8th behind Zona & SF. Now I don't believe they should be that low, but since RPI is largely based on opp win%, it shows their schedule has been weak so far. LA is only 8-9 vs PHI in all Kershaw starts although he pitched well(3.15/1.17). Kershaw has started the season on fire, but Gibby has pitched well too and Philly is hitting 20 points higher BA over L10 games(.266 to .247), so at these odds, I have to back the birds. I may hedge a little if the +1½ gets up to +120ish. Under may be worth a looksie as well...

Another few dollars to the coffer. Of note, when I play at BAS they only have MLB where action goes, no listed pitchers. They started that when COVID was cancelling/changing so many games and they never backed off it. It worked out for me with Phillies last night as Kershaw was scratched late. When my plays are in CAPS, they will be listed pitchers as my other books both list pitchers.

I remembered you were doing these parlays with CBB last year. Maybe you can try parlays with MLB.

I was bored 2 weeks ago, don’t know what to play, so I ended up playing the winning and losing streaks of 2 or more. I’ll pick the teams to continue their winning and losing streak. I don’t look at who’s pitching. If both team have winning or losing streaks and are facing each other, I don’t play that game. I went 6-0 playing them straight up. Then I went on to parlays.

I hit 2 7 teamers in 1 week. Then hit another 5 teamer the next week. There’s favs and dogs. Of course I lay like $2-5 bucks each not expecting it to hit but it did. Then I start mixing Rl on favs and RR them to try bigger payouts. Haven’t hit RR play yet. Just yesterday, I hit 4 teamer with CWS,COLO, STL, WAS…but didn’t RR them. Lay $2 bucks on ML and $2 bucks with some RL and got back a little over $100.

• Giants -140 ...San Fran is 52-19 in 71 as FAV. Even though the Rox have been a profitable DOG, Senzatela was just lit up by the Gints last time out. Wood isn’t great but way better than Antonio. COL is home and they do hit lefties a little better, however they've cooled off to 15 points under season avg over the last 10...probably coming back to earth after a hot start.

Interesting angle, I may look into it more but at first glance this season 2022

Teams with 2 str losses are 57-46 winners or +14.8u betting to break the losing streak
The sweet spot seems to be losers of 4-9 str: 18-37 or +12.6u fading them

Winners of 2 str are 53-57 or +8u fading them
Teams on 3 game win streak are 29-15 +11.8u

Here's a list of records for streaks up to around 10, the negative number streaks are losing streaks. Of course the SU record is for the streaking team
