Mired in a 2-day slump, so need to turn this around starting with early matinee today.​

• ATL +133 ...seems like a bargain for the World Champs with their best starter going at +133 Even with Bravos off to their usual slow start, Fried has been sharp with w WHIP under 1. The Brewers have cooled a bit going 4-6 in L10. Corbin Burnes has been fire this year although he wasn't quite as dominant vs ATL 10 days ago although MIL won 3-2 over Fried. Max tossed 7inn, 1 run, 4 hits while Corbin threw 6inn, 2 runs, 6 hits. While the MIL bully got the win that day, I don't see that happening often as ATL has a deeper/better bullpen and will pitch better so long as the Brave bats wake up a little.

• CIN/CHC u8½ ...Two solid young arms get the starts vs two lower-tier offenses on a warm humid day with the wind blowing in from left at ~15mph. • MIL -130 ...Brewcrew seems to have the Cubs' number, going 20-6 in L26 matchups. Cubs are 2nd worse in bigs at home (7-17). Young lefty Eric Lauer is coming into his own with a great start to 2022, allowing 2 runs or less in 6 of 8 starts including dominating the Cubs on 4/30 with 7 inn/ 1 ER / 5 H / 1 BB / 11 Ks in a 9-1 MIL win. Both starters are LHP and while MIL hits around 20 points higher vs southpaws, CHI is the opposite hitting ~10 points lower. Much as I prefer the pups, I'll have to back the Brewcrew today.
