Luka to the Lakers (WTF) + Trade Deadline

This must be financial and durability-related. And yeah banking a lot on Kyrie. Will be interesting to see adjustments in his props

I guess OKC gets far relying on one key
scorer but like Cleveland has the two good guards, Boston the two wings. Didn’t Kyrie need LeBron to win in Cleveland

Dallas definitely got tired of Luka’s bullshit. Lakers have zero front court right now. Weren’t going to pay a fatass egomaniac 1/3 of a billion dollars.

Kyrie and AD seem like a perfect fit together to be honest.

But the thought of Luka and 22nd year LeBron is more headlines than substance. Luka will now be the newest superstar in LA and won’t have anyone around him once Bron retires. Same problem for LA then…superstar alone but will need to poach someone to complete the squad.

I get how it makes no sense to almost everyone, but this shows unequivocally that Dallas wasn’t going to sign him anyway to that super max deal. And let’s not forget, this team just got crucified for getting nothing when they let Brunson walk.

They must be serious about thinking they’re going all in right now I guess.

Like I said, if they can win it this year I get it.

This team, this year, is in better shape.

But, AD has went 1+ years now with no significant injuries. We're really testing fate here!

Long term, you lose a perennial MVP candidate.

I truly believe Bron had no clue. I don't think he approves this trade because this weakens them for THIS season. There has to be another trade, right?

Long term helps out LA.

The biggest part of this though is Dallas could have gotten a better package overall unless AD was their true prize.

My favorite player in the NBA (and probably best player in the NBA not named Jokic) comes to my favorite team, while giving up only AD that can't be trusted in the Playoffs?! Wow... just amazing! Doncic has tons of health problems and poor defense, but his game is slow pacing, so injuries don't effect him as much as others and AD is just can't be trusted to stay healthy + Doncic is younger, so much more fun to watch and WOW! Just made my day and it's not even started :)
Too bad for Max Christie though - liked to see how much he improved of the last couple of years and assume (hoping) Lakers aren't done yet. AMAZING!

I'm a bit shocked that pro israel, Jewish ownership of Dallas, decided to go with antisemitic pro palestinian Kyrie... I know that money has no smell and I always loved Kyrie as a player, but still... thought he is a gonner when Adelson bought the team...

And one more question - Dallas have 3 really solid Centers - Gafford, Lively and Powell hardly played this season, but he is solid (in my eyes) - wonder why Lakers didn't insist on getting one of them as well - it's obvious Dallas not going to keep all of them...
If Lakers could get Gafford/Lively it will be huge (assuming health is not an issue)

And about Luka and Dallas didn't believe he can bring the title... I'm mean that's just funny. He won Euroleague when he was 17 (if I remember correctly), carried Slovenia on his back to win the Euro... Took Dallas to the Finals despite being injured... I mean... yeah, there are great players that are losers, but it's just impossible to say Luka is such a type in his 25!
