Cubs game funny
Samarzija clearly the better pitcher. Considered him first 5. Only 1 win this season in the first half.
Lohse gives up a lot more. Has not lost away in the first half this season away.
Just watching.

do not like how Milwaukee has been playing and Lohse on inferior rest. If the Cubs do not fight hard with their best after a 2-8 last 10 screw them too.
 
Played it as well, Tuck. Want to keep Cubs pen out of the equation plus depleted Crew lineup (no Gomez, Braun, Ramirez). Hoping they can get to Lohse early.

The problem with the Cub play was the starter had given up 1 run in the last 15 innings. He gave up 3 runs which makes sense and someone made a mistake. Lohse gave up 3 runs which is getting normal but no one made a mistake.
 
Gibson this year .63 ERA on 5 days rest 14 innings. I assume in the day looking at a 5 ERA at night.

looks like its going to very humid in fenway with high winds to left... going over 7.5 there... going to wait til first pitch though... bad weather only makes it better :)
 
I once did a trip to Boston to catch a weekend series against the Tribe, think the whole series got washed out. Friday-Sat definitely. Rain just kind of hangs there once it wants to.
 
Once again Mets qualify for a BC System play. Back to back shutouts. Didn't work out well the last time, but they have Niese on the hill today. Price is leaking up

the system is if you get shutout and you're a below .500 team you're expected to do poorly, not sure if you misread it or think the Mets are going to finish the season with a winning record
