Toronto over 203. Refs poor as usual. This is Memphis who lives to go over playing Toronto after a loss as favorite 8-2 over in spot playing a over 500 team that beat them. Yawn what else is new.

Hitting Nets over too. Some negative trends for the Hornets. Nothing I can see for the Nets

Adding Denver over. Not sure what I get. Probably 214.5 or 15. Good refs, triple revenge for Denver and both teams frustrated off bad losses. This is 4-1 over for Denver on Sunday at home

So far Denver has scored 21 points and they are 3 minutes into the second quarter. This does NOT look good.

But the good news is my pick of Loyola-Chicago is winning by 14. Let no one in the college forum say I did not mention them and bet them

Played over 204.5 in Utah. Should have hit it sooner along with others. Bottom line is Rockets are an over machine. 7-0 over last road games as a dog and Utah has a very healthy offense now and an urgent need to win this game and get back in the playoff race. Also Rockets are 10-1 over after an ATS win. Should have bet sooner and posted sooner

Adding over in Washington 215. Once again a bad number but great refs. Washington is 7-1 over on 2 days rest. Pelicans on 1 days rest are 9-1-1 over last 11 and are also trying to burn their way back into the playoffs.
Denver is an obvious real possibility among others but I want to think more about them

Thanks. Adding Denver minus 1.5. Many reasons but the biggest is Kings play at home tomorrow and adding a small bet on the game under as Denver plays at Clippers tomorrow.

Bet over 210.5 in Chicago.
Washington is 9-4 over b-b
Chicago is fighting very hard now to secure a playoff spot and the absence of Noah and Mirotic and all the recent losses has created a major gunslinger mentality which fits neatly into a history with Washington of 7-3 over last 10. Washington has won last 2 at Bulls. Its hard for me to make much of a case for the under
Made a half unit bet on Miami over 214.5. Why half. You can make arguments for the under. Miami as a home dog leans heavy to the under. The trouble with this concept is the personal shift. No Bosh is huge. We are seeing young guys playing uptempo regularly now and Dragic and Deng are simply cutting loose. GS and this team play over 4 of last 5 13 of last 20. GS at home was unable to cover vs Miami. Winning by 8 as a 14.5 favorite. Miami is no Atlanta. They have won last 3 mostly playing up tempo. They are a team that actually interests GS. GS has had 2 unders in a row and has had 3 in a row once this season. One problem may be Wade. Last game 4-21 slowed things down a lot. Hopefully with the rust off he will make shots or pass the ball. Recently I have read some fairly stupid stuff that has slowed down my picks. Not today. Currently Miami can play a fine uptempo game and I see no reason for GS to play slow with a winning home team that they want to put down.

By the way in the OKC-Dallas game the 10-1 OKC does not cover after a SU loss as a favorite comes into play.

Real interest in Denver and Philadelphia as dogs/
Denver away b-b and on Wednesday is awesome
Away on Wednesday 9-1 ATS last 10
Clippers at home after a 20 or greater win 0-2 ATS

The Pistons depleted bench loses another key contributor.

This is getting to be ridiculous.
As first reported via the Detroit News, Stan Van Gundy says rookie swingman Stanley Johnson will miss "a couple of weeks" with a right shoulder sprain. He suffered the injury during Monday night's impressive win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While this normally wouldn't be devastating news, it's made worse due to the fact that the Pistons have just lost Anthony Tolliver for 2-4 weeks, traded away some of their depth in Brandon Jennings, voided the trade that would have brought in Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton, and of course are still waiting for Jodie Meeks to return from the dead.

At season's start, the Pistons' second unit was projected to be Jennings, Meeks, Johnson, Tolliver and Aron Baynes.
Before the Rockets trade went sour, and before Tolliver and Johnson went down, the Pistons bench looked like it would be stacked for the remainder of the season.
Here's what the bench looked like a few days ago: Steve Blake, Thornton, Johnson, Motiejunas, Baynes, Tolliver.
Not bad, huh?
Instead, they will likely be running with Blake, rookie Darrun Hilliard, D-Leaguer Justin Harper and Baynes for roughly the next six games.
Eek.
The good news is that they'll be facing only two winning teams - the Spurs and Raptors - during that stretch. The bad news is that the starting five of Reggie Jackson, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Marcus Morris, Tobias Harris and Andre Drummond will have to play even more minutes, will have to avoid foul trouble and do virtually all the scoring during that stretch.

As DBB's Kool-Aid Peddler-In-Chief, I'd love to show you all the bright side in this, but at the moment, I'm not seeing it. Even with a full and healthy roster, the Pistons would need to really up their game and make a big run to get firmly back in the playoff picture during these next "couple of weeks."
If they can somehow manage to emerge with a .500 record by the time Johnson and Tolliver (and God-willing, Jodie Meeks) return, we should all be quite thankful.
As it stands, this could be a tough stretch for Pistons fans.
But hey... at least the starters are healthy! #silverlining

So what we know is that they could have problems with Philadelphia.
We also know that Philadelphia has been shaving
We also know that the next 3 games after the Pistons are going to be Washington
Orlando and Washington.
We also know these are their last 4 games[TABLE="class: data"]

Small bet on the shavers who have beat Detroit 4 of their last 7 games with them and the over for more.
One of these refs is 8-2 over with Detroit

A little slow today but will be playing over in Utah to start.
Utah sees this as a must win game and after losing by 27 and 37 points at Spurs this will not be a gentle game.
Utah has gone over in their last 4 home games on Thursday.
Spurs 3-1 over last 4 away on Thursday
Utah 5-1 over last 6
195.5 total real lean to Utah

Very heavy lean to over in Suns. Very good refs and a lot of trends. Still thinking but not for long.
No more thinking locking it in.
Total was 208.5
Some reasoning
on 2 days rest Suns are 4-0 over
On 1 days rest Nets 21-16 over
From Covers
RECENT TRENDS
icon_minus.png

Brooklyn Over is 4-0 in Nets last 4 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
Over is 7-0 in Nets last 7 games following a straight up loss.
Nets are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up loss.

Suns after scoring 85 points or less are 4-1 over
Suns just lost by 40 and are being made a home dog to the Nets.
Both teams playing uptempo with not much defense
second half of season Nets vs under 500 teams are 5-1 over
Nets next 2 games are at Utah and Clippers
Nets tend to go under on no rest 3-7 under and against good teams that can play some D. Not seeing that here. Plus all 3 refs like over 205
6-4
13-6
7-6

Have a feeling they really want this game.
Houston would like it but we are starting to get into domination here
Houston gave the last game at Utah everything and lost. 222? Maybe.
Last 2 wins on the road were the Suns .
They beat the Hornets who are not going to the playoffs.
2 quality wins. At Washington and at Hornets last 20 away.
They have an extreme revenge game at home in 2 days vs Spurs. Is the total here the play or just the better team who has recently slapped down GS? Going on and will revisit this game.
I will normally not put much weight on the refs but there are 2 reffs
1 strong under at 6-10 and one very strong at 1-8 under at 205 here

No way either team looks past this game. A win will be huge in playoffs odds for both teams. Expect playoffs type of game. Can't agree on the Over. Yes, the trends for both teams are huge, but look at H2H so far this season. 219, 175 and 198 (before Overtime). The totals were 211, 216 and 217.5. Obviously the fact that both teams are on Over streak didn't slip by the bookies and was put in to the total of 223 points.
Not advocating an Under here by any means. Easy skip by me.

Thank you but no thank you. I do much better just thinking.

Do not see any real heat in this game. Boston wants a win and then to wait for Miami and Utah. It is an in and out for the Bucks who go back home for a 5 game home stand.
Boston is 8-3 at home after a loss and 3-1 ATS after a loss in this range.

Vegas Experts

[h=2]NBA Basketball Betting Trends - Thursday - Feb, 25[/h] Golden State at Orlando, 7:05 ET
Golden State: 41-26 ATS as a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points
Orlando: 22-7 OVER after 2 games forcing opp to commit 20 or + turnovers
Milwaukee at Boston, 7:35 ET
Milwaukee: 1-10 ATS after playing a game as favorite
Boston: 11-2 ATS when the total is greater than or equal to 210
Oklahoma City at New Orleans, 8:05 ET
Oklahoma City: 7-17 ATS in road games
New Orleans: 34-20 ATS after failing to cover 2 of their last 3 against the spread
Brooklyn at Pheonix, 9:05 ET
Brooklyn: 17-5 ATS in road games off a road loss
Phoenix: 13-23 ATS after playing a game as an underdog
Houston at Portland, 10:05 ET
Houston: 29-16 ATS revenging a loss where opponent scored 110 or more points
Portland: 10-22 ATS after allowing 100 points or more 4 straight games
San Antonio at Utah, 10:35 ET
San Antonio: 1-5 ATS off 2 or more consecutive road wins
Utah: 5-1 ATS as a home underdog

So I may have to look more at the over in GS

After looking at the Minnesota example which was also 5 in 7 away locking in the over. GS defense may be strained here due to fatigue and Orlando is playing with major revenge

Ended 3-1 on totals yesterday with 1 add. Utah over was not bad luck. I just had the wrong side
Played over 204.5 in Indiana/
2 strong under refs. 1 strong over ref.
Last 10 home games Indiana is 7-3 over. Their offense is fine right now as is the Hornets. Days rest is ok. Hornets last 10 as a dog are 6-4 over including the last 3. Indiana is playing on a strong day. They lost at home to the Hornets last time and I expect a serious effort to plaster them

also on the over but for other reasons , betting pattern here is O/U/O/U/O/U,etc... it's tough to have a long alternate streak like this, and totals like W/L tend to be streaky, not as much as in MLB but still.

Correct. Got it at 203.5. Just what you look at. On 1 days rest Hornets have recently been going under. Pacers for a longer time have been a big over om 1 days rest. Pacers in this range 6-3 over. Revenging a home loss 6-3 over and those 10 games as a dog for the hornets included games at Portland and Utah and they have a problem playing in the West. GL

Not following. Toronto? Will be playing Clippers today Based on Days rest and ref histories with Clippers. Oh you mean Toronto today. Its a lean for sure. 9 game home winning streak along with 6 straight at home on Monday but all I have done so far is bet over 207 which seems a very good play except for a strong lean for going under at home on Fridays

Killersports just appeared with a 13-0 trend for Toronto
2 trends for over in the Lakers
And of course a 12-0-1 trend saying the Hornets go under tonight. I have upped my bet there when it went to 203

Raps are also 0-10 ATS after beating the Timberwolves at home.

So-so trends for the most part.

adding Lakers over 211
Partly the trends mentioned but more simple sense. Lakers have 3 days off after this game. Just sit there and realize thatr Memphis owns them. Or fight. Memphis is going over routinely against bad teams and is 21-11 over on 1 days rest.

0-3. In college 2-0 sides and 1-0 total 2-0 NHL, winning with Clippers and Atlanta and 2 ml parlays.
Will try Boston over this morning. 3 refs all like 205 over Miami playing much faster now and on 2 rest. and playing after a home loss. Boston has gone over 7 in a row and 4-1 over last 5. If this losses will just focus on other things on a busy day although you might want to look at NO over
Fairly high total will have to look. 211 in Boston. Also teased Miami to 11 and Georgia State to 3 or 3.5. Free tease since the Sun will nova before Miami does not cover it. The home team with these refs is minus 13 games so a ML play has something going for it.

he Hornets are 0-10-1 ATS (-7.82 ppg) since Mar 14, 2012 as
a road dog with less than two days rest off a road game in
which they had less than 15% of their points from free throws.
SDQL TEXT:

he Heat are 0-11-2 OU (-7.77 ppg) since Dec 07, 2005 off a
10+ loss as a dog in which they led by double digits.
Playing b-b away after a loss has resulted in 2 unders this year
Miami away on Sunday is 9-1 under last 10. Lets try it

Average bet on Nets plus 13. This line is very stupid. Nets after a win are 5-2 ATS on the road and they lost at home to the Clippers last time. The Clippers are 2-10 ATS last 12 vs Brooklyn. They are off a 10 point win and have a major look ahead.

Indiana b-b on The road this year
At Portland 111-123
At Detroit 96-118
At Memphis 84-96
At Boston 94-103
At Kings 97-108
At Miami in OT 93-101

The Suns visit the Hornets today.
The Suns are on 2 days rest 5-0 this season
The Hornets are laying 13. Playing as favorites over 8.5 they are 14-6 over
The Suns have gone over 4 of the last 5 games
The Suns have a minor problem As a team, the Suns still struggle mightily, so no change there. They allow the second-most points per game in the league (107.6), which is the team's highest average since the 1989-90 season. They also allow the highest opponent field goal percentage (47.2 percent) and 3-point percentage (38.1 percent) of all 30 teams.
The Hornets have a silly notion that they should punish the Suns.
I will take a chance with the over here.
By the way the refs have no problem with large favorites or overs
On over 205
9-10
12-13

This is a Kobe's last visit lets score game.
Denver is not making the playoffs and could stand some fun.
Refs B
Denver at home versus Lakers 7-1 over last 8
Seems reasonable. GL

Nothing official yet but some interest in under in Miami. Miami last game shot 67.5% which is normally a automatic fade. All 3 refs are dead unders
5-17
3-9
10-19 under 205
Miami plays at Philadelphia tomorrow. In 2014 Philadelphia beat Miami twice at Miami. Is this enough to bet the Suns???

In this spot Miami Should find it very hard to shot well and this game should be an under. Bucks were an example of this yesterday as they played off 59% shooting and ended with 99 points with the help of 36 points in the fourth which brings me to a first half bet under in this game. I am not sure what to think about the Suns. I am sure this spot is total opposite of that of Hornets and the Suns. The Heat have owned the Suns which leads to very few grudges except by the Suns so the spot would indicate playing the Suns if you treat them as an NBA team which is not obvious

Made a fairly large bet on over in Miami at Philadelphia 205 total.
Nothing is ever a LOCK. Some things seem likely.
Miami offense seems to be very efficient right now and yesterday was no effort to put it mildly.
Refs in the game are
16-8 over 205
9-8 over
12-2 over
That's a lot of overs
If I counted right with these refs Philadelphia is 11-3 over at home.
More reasoning is available but need to continue looking at games

Hearing some negativity concerning Orlando.

Seem to be headed right. They lose at GS after this game and have lost 4 of last 5 with the Suns. So far it has not worked well for the Suns when they play against on the road have a grudge and Orlando is still dreaming about the playoffs. But of course b-b on the road is NO problem for the Suns
