Do Non-Steeler Fans Know Tomlin Sucks?

Never had a losing season with the Steelers. Edit: That was already mentioned haha. I don't think he's a bad coach at all.

As the foremost expert on bad coaches I would say that yes Tomlin does suck but he's Lombardi compared to the idiot he faced in week 1.

So the Kaleb Johnson thing - idk, that ultimately cost us the game but there were a few things that Tomlin did today that just sucked that he’s been criticized for before - no adjustments from previous seasons

I don’t know this for sure, but I’m pretty sure that every pass that darnold threw in the 2H was right down the middle. Some of that might be tied to injuries on the Steelers defensive, but to do nothing about it makes no sense

The end of the game - Steelers are down 14 with 3:20 and 3 timeouts. It’s pretty unlikely the Steelers would come back and win but there is no reason not to at least try. Rodgers takes a sack on first down, they let the playclock get down to 15. 2nd down Rodgers completes a pass, and the 3rd down snal comes with 20 seconds on the playclock. I don’t get it - try to score quick and there’s a chance you can at least get the ball back

The Bad News:


The Steelers have been killed by Shane Steichen every time he's been the offensive playcaller vs. them, giving up 377 yards per game and 30.7 points per game on average in the 3 games he's called offensive plays vs. PIT going back to 2022.

Titans let’s go of an overachieving coach that was putting them into a position they had no business being in. Tomlin hasn’t won a playoff game in nearly a decade and is living in an era that doesn’t allow for him to ever have championship level success.

I don’t see the comparison. If the Steelers sucks ass for 5 years and fire a coach or two and are building towards a future (which might be what’s needed) then that’s fine - I would take that all day rather then accepting no championships, no playoff wins, and a 9-8 record year after year.
