Primetime golf for us tonight. Great field. I had no idea Koepka had a surgery awhile back. No clue on this "nine bridges course" but excited to see it.

Brooks won last year at -21 and JT year before at -9. I guess the wind is s big factor (I vaguely remember either tourney.. hence not knowing course)

JT looking good ..he loves these events over on other side of world. Brooks looks off a bit at times. Jday looks very sharp.

well it is just the 1st round BUT looking good so far. Byeong-Hun An the leader [-8] and Joaquin Niemann solo 2nd [-7] at the CJ Cup with both "Hello Kitty" Kurt Kitayama and Frenchman Ben Hebert tied 3rd [-5] with Richey Ramsay one behind the leaders George Coetzee and Ryan Fox [-6] at the Open de France. just the first round and a LONG way to go yet. surprise of the CJ Cup so far the FIELD player Korean Jung-Gon Hwang tied 4th [-5] with 250-1 Korean Soomin Lee tied 9th [-4] :)

WELL HELL!!! damn Justin Thomas shoots a course record [-9] 2nd round for tourney [-13] and a two shot lead over 1st round co-leader Byeong-Hun An [-3] and "Kiwi Danny" Lee [-6] for [-11]. 1st round co-leader Joaquin Niemann "blew up" with a [+2] for [-6]. the Koreans are doing well. besides An, 250-1 Kyoung-Hoon Lee was [-5] for tourney [-8] tied 6th with 100-1 Si Woo Kim tied 9th [-4] for [-7] and 250-1 Soomin Lee tied 23rd [even] for [-4]. NO CUT this week so everyone plays the weekend

in the Open de France 2nd round South African George Coetzee [-3] and Belgium Nicky Colsartes [-5] tied for the led at [-9] with my boy Kurt Kitayama solo 3rd [-3] for [-8] my other player Ben Hebert shot [even] for [-5] tied 6th. been a LONG time since Nicky Colsartes saw the top of a leaderboard. when he first come out on the Euro Tour he was "hot stuff" BUT then lost his game. be interesting to see IF Ben Hebert can shoot a 3rd round "bomber" like he did in China early season. the CUT came at [+2] notables to MISS were Eric Van Rooyen, Joost Luiten, Matthias Schwab and Ross Fisher. Julian Suri was a <<WD> after the 1st round. HIS game just STINKS lately

CRAZY finish to the 3rd round of CJ Cup. Justin Thomas was just cruising along with up to a four shot lead BUT knocks it in the water on #18 and makes a bogie six for a round of [-2]. meanwhile 200-1 "Kiwi Danny" Lee eagles #18 for a [-4] and they are TIED at [-15] going into Sunday. I think my bet on Byeong-Hun An is pretty well screwed, he just had a HORRID back side with a triple on #11, bogie on #16 and also hit it in the water on #18 for a double and ended up [+1] for tourney [-10] five shots back. Aussie Cameron Smith is solo 3rd with a [-4] for [-12] with both Jordan Spieth [-2] and OWGR # 175 player Wyndham Clark [-5] both tied 4th at [-11]

AND my Open de France not much better. Nicky Colsaerts with his best tourney in a LONG time shoots a 3rd round [-4] for tourney [-13] and a three shoot lead over South African George Coetzee [-1] for [-10]. then Welshman Jamie Donaldson [-5] and my boy Kurt Kitayama [-1] tied 3rd at [-9] four shots back. looks like it is "Goodby Kitty" for this tourney with his very pedestrian three birdie, two bogie third round :(

well as expected Justin Thomas the CJ Cup winner with a final [-5] for tourney [-20) two shots up on "Kiwi Danny" Lee [-3] for [-18]

AND at the Open de France Nicky Colsaerts holds on to win with a final [+1] for tourney [-12] in rainy cold weather one shot over the Dane Joachim B Hanson [-3] for [-11] which was quite a round considering he made a NINE on the par four #13. BIG win for Nicky as it his first in his last seven Euro Tour seasons. George Coetzee solo 3rd [even] for [-10] and my boy Kurt Kitayama with another "just falls short" solo 4th [even] for [-9]. he also had an early "blow up" hole with a SEVEN on the par three #2 which cost him. "Hello Kitty" keeps racking up top five finishes BUT can NOT win like he did early season :(
