Canelo vs No Doubt/ USS vs Fury/FNF/Cleverly vs Kraniqi, Del-Boy

Doesn't matter. Judges never gave Trout a chance.

And, for the record, I HATE that we get to know the cards after the 8th.

I thought Canelo won it, by an inch. Those scorecards were filled out before the fighters ever got in the fucking state of Texas, though.

Trout throws 300+ more and out lands by 30 punches and one judge has it 118-109? Fantastic. You think that scorecard was filled out before that judge saw a second of the fight? LOL

I don't know who the fuck decided that open scoring was a good idea, but whoever it is, I hope they get shot in the knee.

This is what is wrong with boxing, enjoyed the fight , thought Canelo won by a close margin. It just sucks that the only chance he ever had coming in was to KO Canelo. There was ZERO chance he was going to win on the cards.

I had 114-113. 7-5 Trout with the 10-8 knockdown round for canelo. I would not argue either fighter winning a tight decision. Open scoring is an absolute embarrassment to the sport and removes every ounce of drama from watching a fight so OF COURSE Suliman and the clowns of the WBC are the ones who praise it to the high heavens.

Same here, I was sitting next to a former boxer who fought Trouts trainer, former ESPN champ in the 80s Louie Burke, as a professional back in the day...we both had it the same, 114-114 at that point. This is what's wrong with boxing.

He's probably passed out with Mrs. twink. If he was still awake, he'd be here commenting with us. I'm sure he will be all over this thread tomorrow.

Ya I thought he'd be all over this shit tonight... Oh well, I'm just really pissed off for hometown boy. Wasn't even given a chance.

I am pretty in tune here. I thought the WBC has open scoring ONLY over seas.....do they only tell the fighters and corner in the USA who then in turn can tell the viewers?

Trout is all class. Respect.
Agree. He deserves better than the shitty scores the 3 blind mice gave him

What is the deal on WBC scoring? Is it read aloud only in other countries, but told to the corners stateside?

I can see a Canelo win....those scores tho? A joke

And Trout thanks Haymon after,........fuck Al

Yeah, mad props to Trout. I'd be pissed after hearing those scores.
He deserves better than those shitty scores. Great fight and I had the 7th 10-8....Love Paulie but to score that a 10-9 is funny if that happened\

Just horseshit cards tho....how can you turn that in? I have no problem with Canelo winning....no money on it, but I thought he would win

Respect for Trout. Great fighter and classy...hold that head high...he can fight with anyone at 154 or 60

I really want clarification on this WBC deal,,,,,I know in Japan they announce it to the crowd(scores).....

Yeah. I think it's considered "partial" open scoring. They don't announce it over the loud speakers, but they tell the corners (who in turn tell the fighters), and the commentators (who in turn tell US).

Nice night jab. Yea USS is hard guy not to pull for.

That quasi-open scoring by the WBC blows....awful

Big night for Canelo...took a fight his handlers wanted no part of, went in and won in front of 40k in Texas....big night for boxing

"No Doubt" baby! Homie from right here in Las Cruces... I know his trainer, Louie Burke, personally. He trained my buddy in high school who boxed and I actually worked for him briefly back in the day. Twank, u a big boxing guy, u know who Louie Burke is???
from the 80s....heard of him, dont know much of him other than it looks like Camacho KOd him back in the day
