I almost added buff cause of the price alone. Think i was scared off after that dismanteling the canes did to the devils. I also liked the over there. Glad i got tied up with chores.

Lets win out.
 
Yeah, rough start to the day. Bussi was amazing in net. Buff had plenty of chances, but could not crack him. I can guarantee you that Buffalo is not the team Carolina wants to see in the first round, although it would be a hell of a series. I’m still shocked how wide open the Pitt/Sea game was. And it seemed like every shot on goal was a grade A opportunity.

Well, I pussied out playing them vs Cal because I wanted to make sure the Car game previous was more about Car than it was about NJ and that seems to be the case. And I grade Cal pretty high at home. Big blow with L Hughes getting hurt but Edm is minus LD and NJ has been pretty good vs Edm and in this building recently. Price was too good to pass up on what is closer to a coin flip game in my eyes. And amazingly Edm has not won 3 straight games all season so after 2 wins, here comes the L.
 
Looks like I might regret not playing MIN too, but it’s early. Just thought the injuries might catch up to them.
 
Wednesday

NYI/Sea u5.5 -110

Just one play tonight, but also lean towards Calgary and then Vancouver. I like Calgary more, but Vancouver has to win at some point, right? I’ll be watching and rooting for the Pens.

Nestled right up against it, but got the cash in the end!

Lost tor and isles...cashed vancouver and and salami for a positive day. Detroit was a fantastic game. Toronto had sooooo many solid scoring chances throughout the game. Woll and gibson both played soooo good.

I lost my espn+ through hulu when i left verizon. But, i can still get radio links via the nhl website. Those radio announcers are so much more colorful than the tv guys.
 
I watched most of the Det/Tor game. It was fun. Det was dominant in OT. Would probably fade them tonight vs Wild though but price is a bit steep. I may be convinced to play it if Filip is in net. He will be going for his 100th career win.

Filip going for win 100 vs Det who is off that tough OT game in Tor. I’m guessing Talbot will be in net. Wild might be getting back to winning form after going 2-1 on a tough EC road trip. Det (with Talbot) beat them here LY and there is no denying Det is playing well, but they have not been on a road trip since early - mid December and they are only 3-3 in their L6 road games leading up to this trip. They won a tough one last night, but think Wild get them here. And if not the Jets will get them on Sat.

Surprised to see Jarry confirmed in net for Edm. Maybe Pens will let Skinner go b2b tonight. You know he would love to play in this game.
 
The sharks have been listed as betting favotites ONCE thia year. They lost at home to seattle 4-2 as -130 favorites on dec 20th. The only other time they had a minus in front of their price was a 3-2 victory at home over the Canucks on 11/28. Sj was listed as -104 with vanvouver being -110. Odds are from scores and odds.

So, of the sharks 26 wins, 25 of them have been a dog price of +110 or better with the greatest percentage over +140. Pretty outstanding.

Obv they are going to be a play for me,lol
 
Sharks fever has hit town, that's for sure... Then again maybe cause The Rangers are in town. $169 a ticket. Hell, I saw the Vegas game a couple weeks ago for $58.

I gave up trying to figure out shots on goal. So random from game to game.

I'm liking St. Louis +142 tonight.
 
I was looking at St Louis as well. Definitely the only side I would play there. Keep bouncing between Ducks and under…not sure what is better there. Ducks have been playing some defense during this win streak.
 
If anahiem didnt have a couple injuries i woulda backed the side. I think jersey is the rignt side. Nucks broke their losing streak, but they are still down aome weapons. Jersey needs all the points they can get.

May add some more later. The under is my strongest play today. Columbus is preaching a defense first game under its new coach and TB is one of the best defensive teams in the league.

Islanders off a really bad game and Flyers off a really good game. I’ll take the better goalie and what I think is the better team in a bounce back spot. Rangers have given up an average of 5 goals per game since the winter classic and overs are 6-2-1 during that span. I’ll keep betting the over until their goaltending situation improves, especially when they play top 10 scoring teams like Boston (#8 in goals scored per game). Ducks are hot and Jarry stinks - this will be the first of a 2-game chase vs Edm who hasn’t won 3 straight all season. FYI, I always grade the split plays as a single play for record keeping. It’s a W if I win money, an L if I lose money.

the +1.5 on the ducks is plus money now. Just dumb all the way around pricing. I believe thats what the books want you to believe.

I dont care. I would much rather lose the ducks side at a 220 price than lose the edm side at -180. In the long run, given the right situations, i think i would come out in the long run.

Edm line makes no sense. The teams are separated by 1 point in the standings and ducks are on a 7 game winning streak. It may lose, but I agree… have to take this price every time.

I don’t love that J Hughes is out for NJ but adding Ullmark back into this locker room is going to be a volatile situation. It has not been confirmed, but the rumor circulating is that he got caught cheating, and he ratted out some of his teammates for cheating as well. He might get run over by one of his own teammates today.

No worries C-Man you will bounce back today. Not so sure about the Pens, however. They were dominated by Philly which was surprising. Pitt had zero offense and gave up like 4 breakaways.
 
Thanks bld. I’m OK with dropping game 1 of a series play. I didn’t expect either series to be a sweep so all good. Definitely need Dal and Pit to win game 2 though!

Like the Ducks but Edm was a monster at home during playoffs LY so sticking with the over. I may be being stubborn with this Pens team but every time I thought they were ready to tank this season they surprised me, so they should come out flying tonight.
