The Jets have decided to interview everyone so when they inevitably go with something like Phil Savage and Aaron Glenn they can claim that they were the best available candidates and no stone was left unturned. Fast forward 2 years later and the new search for the latest hot DC and GM combo after the team wins 8 or less games combined in two years is the only possible outcome if they go with yet another defensive head coach.
I actually expect you to end up with the Rutgers head coach and have now knowledge or bearing as to why.
As a BILLS fanatic I hope the Jets hire the worst regime possible ..Agree Glenn appears to be that option.
I really don't think he's remotely been in any kind of discussion....I just said it on a post that I was thinking about.
I take no offense whatsoever and agree that Glenn would be a terrible hire but he played for the Jets blah blah blah. For the record I have no animosity towards the Bills at all; New England and Miami different story altogether.
I am no fan of Schiano but how is he any less qualified than Aaron Glenn. Schiano has already coached in the league and has made Rutgers a respectable program when historically they have been a total joke. Hate to keep bashing Glenn but the fact that he is considered the frontrunner tells you everything that is wrong with the Jets organization.

I'm going to be honest this is the type of hire I'd like to see. At this point I hope they do whatever it takes to get Woody to sell and some crazy fan might kill him over a hire like this.

Ben Johnson is probably the best OC in the league so of course he's highly coveted but I don't get why anyone would hire Glenn.
The perfect situation was Washington and turning down that job has me questioning whether he really wants to be a head coach.

Now this makes no sense to me for Johnson. The division is stacked, they have no QB and he is going to have to outcoach Reid, Payton, and Harbaugh. How do you turn down the Washington job a year earlier with a far superior owner and front office and then take the Raiders job.
Objectively its a terrible job and I think he'd be nuts to take it.
