The 100s of millions in cap space to open up! Seems like they have been in cap hell ever since Brees left, shit crazy I’ve never seen a team take this long to get past selling the future to try and hang on with a aging qb and make another run. wtf did they do? Maybe it got better before they brought Carr in and now it just bad contracts on current guys?? Just seems like they been in cap purgatory for a long time, then keeping Dennis allen around wasn’t helping anything he was garbage.
 
Ok Lions fans so whats the deal with Engstrand. He is being passed up for a promotion in Detroit, Johnson didn't take him to Chicago and the other guy that left doesn't seem to know he exists.

I’ve developed a new theory that you want your guys early pressers and bull shit to be bad and have ppl cracking jokes bout it. All those guys recently have turned out to be best coaches. It the slick talking media savvy assholes that faking it and can’t coach a lick. Adam Gase was prob great at the podium.

Name sounds familiar I havnt paid much attention to listening to anything bout coaching hires other than reading bout one here and there, can’t stand listening to any the sport talk shows talking bout them like they have any fucking clue how any of them gonna turn out!! If he was Bucs oc think he at least good at that. Best head coaches should he really good at something and realky good delegating and leading where they not. It ain’t rocket science yet so many bad bad hires they firing dudes in a year like how bad you have to be for them to admit they fucked up after a year? There shit coaches going on 3-4 or more years all over the place!
 
I’d bet my left nut cowboys hire who been gifted oc jobs all over cause his daddy name is a huge bum, I’ve never seen any his offenses having any kind of creativity or special. Dallas offense was fine before he got there and wasn’t any different w him. Jerry got all the talking head media clowns to put cowboys in lead all playoff week talking bout Dion knowing damn well Jerry would never hire a coach that wasn’t a yes man or steal any his shine!! Then they hired this scrub in dark room in middle night cause I didn’t know for days they hired him!!

That a good dc choice for the young coach. He sucked as HC but has that experience needed for 1sy time HC and he worked well with another excellent offensive minded HC and obviously he a fantastic dc.. didn’t know til reading your post he the new bears bc but I agree very good start to Johnson career. Pretty much exactly what i said he needed to do. already confident he will do well. Only other thing be nice to see a strong proven oline coach important for bears.,

My moms a real bears fan so I’d like that for her but obviously requires winning a lot cause I don’t root for team I can’t win money on!! I have much higher standards than these fans that care bout any these teams. For now I’ll stay a huge kc “fan”. Love my Chiefs, just a quick ride across the state to support the boys as I’ve done many a time (as in 1x and i actually wore raiders gear and rooted for them! Lol). Love those chiefs long as they make history and get me nice payday!!

It is the toughest division in football arguably. 3rd place could be a playoff team once again!! Super curious how good lions be next year if Campbell can replace both coordinators, and get them over the fact they blew 2 chances to get to SB, that could be as tough a sb loser hangover!! Bears already off to great start w Allen hire, soon as they bring on a well respected oline coach they on their way to winning 10 games on a last place schedule imo. Get the hate out your system now cause they be a play on team come fall, def a play on team in my favorite part of season to bet, preseason!!!

Bears will be everyone's hype team this year. Lions have a brutal schedule but with everyone healthy don't count them out..this team is just beginning their era, not ending it.

They were on pace to be 10+ points better. The general consensus. Surely even with Law would have gotten closer at the end.

Not counting lions out and I don’t doubt Campbell has plenty of knee biting left in him. I’d like to know he has a pipeline like Mcvey to be able to hire more smart young coordinators. He don’t really need to hire older been around block guys he has that on lock down., I’d think maybe a small step back is most likely and still win div or be wild card at worst. I think Vikings will be a certainty to fall off at least 2-3 games. Who knows w packers but I’ve thought same thing bout love de Utah st, he an immature will prob always will be inconsistent player. I’m impressed he at slowed down enough on the weed to learn playbook while he was on bench. If lafluer ever 100% reached him could be special but I have my doubts. Maybe they have a SB run before they start talking love next contract, I could def see him be out for another 100s of millions type deal and that be the year he focuses to point he 1st one in last one out building. They blew two double digit leads, Shanny blew a 25 point lead to no shocker Brady aka mahomes before mahomes. Was it refs fault in one those 2 niner choke jobs that kc offensive was doing nothing until mahomes got hit and threw up a 60 yard duck and somehow tyreke was so open he caught it like a punt?!(!? Bears are dog shit. Dog shit franchise. They are trying to be the Lions which feels like a bunch of diarrhea coming out of my mouth since the Lions haven't been relevant in 100 years until the last 2. Just kind of funny.

How many lions coaches have they brought over besides the HC? Everyone has to bring head coach from another team! I think their offense will look lot different than lions unless they go out and get a bunch of 1st round all pro lineman and way better rb room, I expect Johnson will design the offense more to the 3 wr, te, and Williams strengths. You seem pretty bitter bout them, im indifferent. I agree the leadership up top ain’t great but also don’t think the interfere w this staff much. Far as franchises go they are a good steak compared to jets, browns, bengals, jags, raiders, cardinals. I think you have some shit to work out w a therapist bout why you hate them so much. I could easily see them win 10 games assuming the rest the offseason continues on same trajectory.
