Bohl isn't as PC as Whittingham. That's the same reason Thomas is gone. It will be addition by subtraction with him finally gone.

So i have $7.5k ticket on USC to win NC. So now that i need Rising to play bad i bet he'll have the game of his life. No more 5 yard passes into the receivers feet. Lol. Probably smart to play Utah. That's how my season has gone.

Hudson Card is entering the portal. Not a shock at all.

Good kid - played hard and pretty well, while injured, this season. And had it not been for Sarkisian sticking with Ewers in two games where he was atrocious, Card would have likely won the Oklahoma State and TCU games.

That was the worst pass I've seen him throw all year. Including that horrible pass in the and zone at Florida to start the year.

Maybe some small hedging along the way?

I just had a 3k Michigan win b10 ticket i hedged on OSU and lost (i assumed winner would win championship) i bet the hedge live right before jj threw the 3rd and 10 72 yard td pass. So im done with hedging for now lol. It was a 300 bet at 25 to 1. So no real biggie. If they win and get in playoff then probably hedge. Slso have Georgia nc ticket. But it'd be real nice if USC wins it but like i said Rising will likely go off. I agree with his talent. He was so off that game.

I haven't seen confirmation yet so I'm not putting it in the top post, but Oregon's #3 QB Jay Butterfield is transfering and speculation is that Ty Thompson may as well. If they both leave before the bowl game that would leave Nix the only scholarship QB on the roster and of course if he is going NFL, he could opt out. Will want to see what these Oregon QBs do.

First thread will continually be updated as we did last year. I will group it by bowl game once the full schedule is out. Until then I'll do it alphabetical. Starters, key contributors or key depth will be listed.

Wyoming
RB - Titus Swen (dismissed) - #1 rusher with 1039 yards
- “Titus Swen’s personal conduct is below the standard necessary to be a member of Cowboy Football,” said Bohl
Damn... list just keeps getting longer.

Reading through more and more of the names, one of the bigger impacts will be on special teams - several players I am not listing here, whether they are WRs or DBs do not see the field much except on special teams and some of those guys are transfering out. Not like we would hinge a play on special teams play, but expect maybe some lesser coverage on some teams.

Gators have 11 players transferring already...will continue to rise as Billy supplants the previous regime's culture.
Also, like at RB, some damn highly recruited players who were simply not as good as the young uns.
Going to be a crazy interesting off-season in CFB...the kids are getting paid, FA has arrived, and they finally have a direct say in their future.

The biggest problem with this is that the coach and the program are often synonymous
Agree, as a former HS "stud" who played at Rich Stadium for the NYS High School Section 6A championship a lifetime ago...the coach is the program in football (at all levels).

WOW FUCKIN COWARDS!!!
Thank you so much for this.

Bowl Payouts.

Liberty Bowl (mizzou allegedly declined) $4.7 Million

Gasparilla Bowl ( mizzou current projected bowl) $1.1 million.

Don't know if true. But to not want to play a school and go to a lesser Bowl?

Not so fast my friends….

Adding this from the SI article published a little over an hour ago:

In 2007, the two teams even had one of the most pivotal matchups of the year, when a No. 4 Mizzou team led by Chase Daniel, took on a No. 2 Kansas team led by Mark Mangino as head coach.

Mizzou won that game 36-28 and went on to play for a Big 12 title.

Editor’s Note: Mizzou got absolutely curb stomped by Texas in the B12 championship and was passed over for the Orange Bowl. However, KU was selected for the Orange Bowl much to the chagrin of misery.

KU ended up beating the much ballyhooed Virginia Tech Hokies led by legendary ball coach Frank Beamer.

Wow the portal is lit. A couple big names from Bama. Some huge QBs including Clovis and DJ U along with the guy at NC St.

Colorado will look like USC once the season starts.

Erick All from Mich in the portal. Odd timing.
He's out for the year, not too odd

Cades roommate.
.
Cade really ended up being a bad seed @HUNT (worst captain in history) .

Few others that Cade is taking to Iowa with him. One that is possible is still an active part of team.

As far as All... We all were excited that he even thought of coming back. A healthy season here and he's a day 1/day 2 pick next April. Good on him coming back (wherever that is). Guy just had a kid on the season opener (conceived on the day UM won vs OSU -- fun fact).

His unhappiness via the tweet is this two fold...

1. He wasn't happy with the medical care.

2. He didn't feel the love/attention from the staff after the surgery.

Some of these kids need more coddling than others.

Two captains that barely played going out on bad terms is quite something. Jim's comments last night were quite telling wrt Cade (indirectly).

All will be a heck of an addition to Iowa if that's where he goes (again, likely but you never know in NIL era).

Wow the portal is lit. A couple big names from Bama. Some huge QBs including Clovis and DJ U along with the guy at NC St.

Colorado will look like USC once the season starts.
Terrible defense and tackling?

These teams that load up 15-20 via portal have such boom or bust potential.

You really need to "hit" on someone like a Kenneth Walker in order to see the dividends. That turned a horrid team into 3rd place Big Ten East and a NY6 bowl.

If there's anything I don't understand, it's Cade going to Iowa without spending 24 hours in the portal.

Truck and cash go a long way.

The "tampering" is pretty funny nowadays (is there even a rule?).

I mean, Donovan Edward's has been recruiting Braelon Allen to Mich for a bit now.
