Press conference today at 10a with Beane (I have to assume at least one of the local stations will have it on so I can watch). Don't expect anything regarding a coach, but it will be interesting to hear what he has to say.

I'll have to watch it on my next break. Beane should have been fired too .. Can't believe they promoted him 🙃

Outsider take on Buffalo. This presser is a clown show. I'll take the read of the room from Bills fans on here that McDermott probably should've been gone a couple years earlier. But from what I'm hearing from this Beane douche going forward, GL winning anything with that guy.
As an outsider, I've been saying for 3 years that Sean wasn't going to get this team to the Super Bowl.

He's a solid HC -- no doubt -- I just don't think he had what it takes to win the biggest games.

I didn't realize how bad the front office was till this week though. The past few days have been revealing.

Pegula should take the role of silent owner. Geesh....
Pretty funny. There's a video of Beane saying he was glad Keon Coleman ran a 4.57. "It'll help get him."
Keon took a lot of heat during this presser. Funny line I heard -- hopefully he forgot to set his alarm (again) and didn't listen.

Half the presser was about Keon. Nobody asked good follow up questions- missing on Keon is one of many bad moves.

Great now pegula wants to emulate Jerry jones. Him saying Beane did great with moves because there were practice squad players seeing significant time. The mental gymnastics to not see the roster WAS the problem.

Such a bad look trying to pin Keon on mcd.

They’re up against it with the cap so Beane will have to pull out some miracles to get the roster improved… could easily lose two starting lineman almost def one.

Bills won't have any trouble getting under the cap. Release Samuel, release Knox, convert Dawkins base to a bonus and they'll be about $20M under the cap, right at the league midpoint.

Don't have a clue what's going on there, now it sounds like McDermott was pissed that the team didn't go after Meyers and that caused tension somewhere. Now was it between him and Beane or him and ownership...or both?

Wow , what a shit show ..Talking trash about a player currently on the roster. Beane and Mcdummy both should have been fired. Going to Need the NFL to gift them a Super Bowl

Brady. +275
Daboll. +160
M McDaniel. +1000
J McDaniels. +900
Kubiak. +350
M Lafluer ( lar ast ). Xxx
Kingsbury. Xxx
Minter. +2500
Tomlin. +7500
Joseph +3000
Davis Webb. +350
Other. +250

I think Kubiak is a sneaky good pick, however his odds have gone from +750 to +450 so it’s maybe not sneaky anymore.

Also Davis Webb is interesting, but the talk has been about him and JA17 being “best of friends” which doesn’t seem at all like a good idea for the next HC. Actually it seems like a horrible idea.

The worst part, and by worst I guess most confusing or most idiotic thing said, was Pegula saying there isn’t any pressure on the next guy to win a SB right away, but they fired McDermott for not winning the SB. Those 2 things don’t make sense when said together.

I’ve said from day one, when Pegula bought the Sabres and seemingly ruined them overnight (it was 2-3 yrs, not literally overnight), is that Pegula is the exact test case in what happens when a fan buys a team. He happened to strike it rich with oil wells, made billions, and was able to buy the team he rooted for his entire life. It’s turned out fucking horrible because he’s just a fan who happened to get billions, he’s not experienced running pro sports franchises.

Almost every single hire he’s made for the Sabres (and then the Bills after he bought them) has been horrible and set the franchise back years. Michael Peca was employed for 1/2 of a day, he brought back “nostalgia” coaches/front office guys because many years ago they coached/played for the Sabres. The Athletic had an article maybe 3-4 years ago about how utterly dysfunctional the Sabres organization was…sexual harassment accusations, Terry and the wife having way too much say and being horrible people to their employees, etc, etc, etc.

This area can thank Terry for buying the Sabres because there was a chance they were potentially moving…but that’s where it ends. He’s a horrible professional sports franchise owner. And he just proved it again today at the presser.

Waiting for the 6pm price update on the BILLS HC from the local ...

Said it's the most money he's taken on a game/event all season. He doesn't want any more Daboll money at plus odds.

Still plenty of ways to get plus money on Kalshi on him or a way for him to hedge a bit

Can I even bet on that here in NY ? Last time I tried it wouldn't allow us to make these types of bets ..

Have another local who has Daboll +190 but have limits with him .. Don't think he'd let bet more than $100 at this point lol ..

Very close to betting Udinski if he's offered tonight ...

Unless I'm calculating it wrong which might well be the case I think it's +143/-178 roughly

Kalshi is available but there could be restrictions on local teams though I doubt it.

They claim they are the only exchange market legal in all 50 states

AZ is going after Underdog right now but that's because daily fantasy is illegal here which is what UD primarily does on the exchange. No clue how that will turn out.

Have also seen that Lamar is lobbying hard for them to bring Kliff in at OC which seems like a good fit with a defensive coach. Will be a great get regardless the OC, pretty much perfect for that situation.

Im not sure I’d want to accommodate anything Lamar wants with the stories we hear about him.

Wow are some of these owners just flat out dumb. Once again you are seeing mostly terrible hires but this seems to happen every offseason.

Cowboy's may have hit on a major score swiping Christian Parker from the Eagles to be their new DC. The guy developed Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell, has Patrick Surtain as a fan and is a Fangio disciple. One of their biggest holes on defense is having a well-coordinated pass defense. This guy appears to fit the bill. Now they need to add some talent.
