Black Monday- Kubiak Raiders

Teams with losing records that are keeping their coach:

Bengals, Jets, Cowboys - see you all next year

Chiefs - Andy, 'nuff said
Bucs - co-division champs? OK
Saints - the one coach with a losing record that actually overachieved
Commanders - injury do-over I suppose

That's it, that's the list.

Love the Saints next year. Wish I could bet their win total right now ...That Shough is going to be great imo ...Schedule looks weak on paper

Buffalo winning at Jacksonville cost them Harbaugh and Stefanski but I have my doubts that Pegula is paying anywhere near what Harbaugh is getting.

Brady. +140. Getting chalky
Daboll. +160
M McDaniel. +950
J McDaniels. +450
Kubiak. +600
M Lafluer ( lar ast ). +1500
Kingsbury. +3500
Minter. +1500 ( Money coming in apparently)
Tomlin. +5500
Joseph +3000
Davis Webb. +1800
Other. +300

Yes but that will have little to do with their decision. Daboll and Allen were extremely close, and Josh played some of his best ball with him as his OC. He’s also a local guy so he’s absolutely near the top of the list.

Im just saying if the goal is to win the 50/50 games in the playoffs, im not sure the .333 coach is the best approach.

If he wasn’t leaving for the Steelers job, which is one that seemingly becomes a 15-20 year gig working for a great organization, I find it hard to believe he’s leaving for anything either. And again, nor should he. Why leave ND and a job he can stay at for as long as he wants?

Spot on imo ..Couldn't have said it better

Agreed.

I haven't understood the Freeman to NFL talk.

Why?

Maybe later in his career to scratch that itch.

Think he should've been fired after 13 seconds kc game. But lot of openings and few no brainer choices. I was in San Diego when they let Marty go after 14 2 but yet another playoff loss. They hired Turner and been a disaster since until getting JH in there now. So be careful what you ask for. Things CAN get worse. JA prime has 2, 3 years left.

I've seen every reaction to this one.

A lot bad.

Who knows.

Who knows , but yeah , it doesn't sound like the phin fans are happy

As a Bills fan I enjoy when the division opponents are all good ...

Torn on the Pats right now , don't want to see them win a Super Bowl , but Son and I have a ton of Maye Rookies 🤔🙃💵..

Do you think the Pats win the bowl ?

Dolphins fans must be thrilled going from thinking they were getting Harbaugh to getting a defensive coach that had a losing record at Boston College. This is just a laughably bad hire on the face of it and I would be throwing things if I was a fan of that team.

I don't think the Pats win it all.

But they are definitely way ahead of the rebuild curve.

I said Maye was the best QB and he's even surpassed my expectations.

The coaching addition was so big.

Houston offense imploded yesterday or who knows what happens. The Pats averaged I believe 3.3 ypp. They made plays on D though.

Seattle defense will confuse the hell out of them.

Rams would be a better opportunity for NE but I still think LA would win.

As fans, root for the Rams to win so we can have a fun SB.

No good Bills fan should ever want to see New England win.

The merry-go-round continues!
With Kalshi up to 53% to hire Vance Joseph I feel like I should probably just lay it to get something out of the next two years of failure before doing this again

Didn't have time yesterday but I am torn on the decision....

I was calling for McD's head after 13 seconds but with the way the last 2 seasons unfolded it's hard for me to just pin it on him. Beane has continually missed on draft picks. He's drafted 2 pro bowlers in 6 years- Cook obv a hit Knox isn't even a #1 TE and he got an insane contract. He's missed on every free agent wr outside of Diggs who they had no clear replacement for. PPL will disagree but if they had Diggs this season they go to the SB- i still think they would have lost because they don't have the defense talent after injuries. This roster sucks- I look at other teams and it's hilarious actually.

Beane gets credit for JA while missing on everything else. Look at his moves this season....

Signs 2 DT that are suspended
Signs Josh Palmer who can't even see the field.
Goes on radio station to argue that we don't need any wrs since we have a high ppg avg.
midway through the season signs Mecole Hardman & then later Cooks proving he is an idiot.
The most annoying one of all the Slay debacle.

JaMarcus Ingram was released to make way for Slay who never wanted to play for Buffalo. How did Beane not know this?
The Broncos scored 2 tds on 2 plays where the Bills were forced to play Savage & Dane Jackson because there were ingame injuries. Watching Ingram have a pick for the Texans in the divisional game added insult to injury for me.

This season of blunders by him should have been the last but Pegula has no clue and only knows he's printing money and doesn't want to make decisions. Took him forever with the Sabres.

It's wild that McD has reached martyr status with some fans, but I think he did the best he could with the roster he had this season. He was spectacular with 2ndh adjustments defensively. He did bring the playoffs and consistency to Buffalo, just couldn't get it done with a top tier QB. Hopefully Beane can turn it around but he'll have to really hit on the draft and free agency while being up against the cap.

I don't even know who I want as a coach all the ones I like have jobs.

Was it time to move on? It was 4 years ago!

Beane should have been sacked too ..The Jemarcus Ingram/Slay debacle was just another microcosm of his ineptness..Same with the mid season WR signings , after ranting on local radio hosts. The Knox and Bernard contracts were ridiculous. .Letting 2M Mack Hollins ( TD rec leader last year ) walk for 12m Josh Palmer is unforgivable.
