Bills DB Damar Hamlin Thoughts...

I could post dozens of them but I won’t. Just thought I’d share the incredible drawings, maybe someone ends up buying one. He’s done other athletes outside of Buffalo, got to meet Kyle Rudolph after drawing him (he’s a big ND fan) and gifting him the portrait, so maybe he’s drawn someone you’d be interested in having.

He also, just as he was launching this little side business, drew a picture of my dad the year he passed for my mom, and she received it at my wedding. To say the emotions were running high would be an understatement, and it was seriously just the most kind and touching thing anyone could have done. Recently he just asked me about drawing another one as again he was really just figuring it out at that point and doesn’t feel the drawing is up to his current standards. To my mom and our family, it’s perfect just the way it is.

Yeah, Harrison is one of the really, really good ones. He did a lot with West Herr when he was here among many other organizations.

I have a buddy (childhood friend, so going on 40 years now, lol) who has a side business drawing pictures of athletes (Flicktures). I’m sure @DOUBLEUP4LIFE knows of him as the pics are amazing and very, very popular around here.

Anyway, he did one of Harrison Phillips and he always gifted the original to the player…when he met with Harrison he wanted to sign a bunch of them (and if I’m not mistaken the original) and have Scott raffle them off or give them away. Harrison became a friend and they stayed in contact regularly, he is just an incredibly good dude.
His work is unbelievable...
My wife has purchased several as gifts for her sibling who lives out of town ..

I really appreciate that Brother ..
We're planning on redecorating our sports room this spring,
Would love several pieces of his fantastic art hanging in there...

Then I’ll expect a PM from you soon. I can put you right in touch with him directly and I can assure you he will take care of you. Maybe we can all meet for lunch and share it via CTG. I’d be happy to help and l’ll buy lunch.

Wow that is far above and beyond any level of kindness that you'd ever expect to find on any wagering forum ...

Much appreciation Brother ...

Lunch would be on me though friend ..

Interesting he would think they would finish the game.

I wonder what, if anything, he might remember existentially during the time he flatlined.
Guessing he only remembers the seconds leading to the hit and has zero clue that he didn't just end up on the sideline or in the locker room

To that point it's got to be tough to ease him back, he has no clue how much the world has been watching, praying, etc

Need to work the ticker back gradually

If I'm ever looking to push divorce, I'm booking OYO for the wife and I.
Now gonna have to go to their website, gotta imagine the place in general still sucks

All I really remember about Hooters was the Dan Marino sportsbar, never went in it. At least it wasn't a motel 6

I'm intrigued

Their website is a train wreck but the bold Steak 'n Shake lights on the awning hits home

I'm definitely down for some steak n shake. Sure wish the Lime Freeze was still a thing.

I kind of want to play $1 blackjack and see what they do when I bet $100 with a high count.
Not just Vegas, any Indian casino that is fun

Nothing like playing real craps at Casino Royale when they let you go 100x odds...dollar pass, $100 odds was always incredible

We had to go to St Louis to get SnS

Ex worked at one in college in Bloomington and said she gained 20 lbs which seems easy to do at that place

That truly is amazing when you consider how obscure this was for an NFL medical staff, when seconds literally mattered. Props to them!
I did see confirmation somewhere that all medical staff run through this drill at least twice a season. Having to recognize cardiac arrest, get the AED, etc. Practice paid off for sure.
