AFC Wildcard Round Discussion Thread

Etienne over any rush number they set. Dunno who wins but he will gash this chargers d cause they will be super worried about taking away the play action. It what Staley does, schemes to take pass games away and gets his team run all over.
 
Bengals only side I feel confident in although I am a bit worried bout higgens, being involved in that hit messed him up and he played like it today.
 
Maybe not this round but plan to bet against that Buffalo defense. Had a big TT bet on Cincy in the game that got cancelled and won on NE TT today. I think Cincy would have put 40 up on them Monday night if the game had played out.

I can’t imagine Lamar gonna all a sudden play, you think? Unless ravens drawing up a contract right now! Even if he does how sharp could he be vs a really good Cincy d? I don’t think it matters to me who ravens play at qb, I don’t think they can score more than 17 points.

On paper Bengals should have no issues. Gut feeling says it won't be that easy even though Baltimore is hot garbage.
 
Looks like I’m going to be on a Bengals teaser leg. No way someone can tell me Lamar after not practicing for 5 weeks hops into a playoff game and is sharp. Baltimore a farce all year and Cincy good enough to win it all

You think? I don’t disagree it should be up there but he has had enough duds on the season he only averages bout 66 a game. He only been over 80 3 of last 8 games. They should def adjust up for opponent but that sounds aggressively high, not that it high enough, anything below 90 and I’m firing at him so maybe you right and I’m not giving books enough credit. Wherever they put him I don’t think it high enough. Dougie P is pretty good bout sticking w the run game to set up his play action, I’d think he will get close to 20 vs these guys and I’d be shocked if he didn’t go for over 5 a carry, maybe closer to 7-8 if he bust a long one. When they played early in the year him and Robison combined for 30 carries and 145 yards, I doubt game script be that favorable again but it clear they recognized the way to attack this d.

Lol. That was a special exception, I thought they did a great job keeping Lawrence clean early on with play action even tho they couldn’t run a lick. Titans one the best run d’s in the league and their corners suck, woulda been foolish to try running into a wall over and over again, there was no room for Etienne the times they did try to run. I’m totally confident he will get way more touches in this one.

I tried to jump when I saw 46.5 last night but was already at 47 when I got to casino. Pretty sure I’m with you there, although I still like Etienne rush prop over better than anything else in this game, dunno what the number will be, prob somewhere between 70-80, anything below 90 he will smash imo. Good chance I play a alternate number or 2 on him or one of those specials for like 150 and a td or something at nice odds. Just don’t see any world he doesn’t go off. By end of week I will prob have built a couple SGP for this one also as several guys should hit their numbers.
 
I love cincy in general, I think they the best team in the afc, think they were gonna beat bills, certainly looked the better team early on, that coulda changed but considering their defense gets even nastier after halftime I doubt it. I think they gonna use the fact the NFL hosed them as a rally cry. I’ve already heard burrow mention how it seems like they should have the same coin flip for home game w bills as ravens got offered, or put them on a neutral the way they planning on bills/kc, seems like a total fuck job giving everyone else these extra things to benefit them but the team who I’m 85% confident would have been the 2 seed gets none those concessions, had to beat ravens just to get this game at home, now they gotta go to Buffalo then to kc. Luckily they have Burrow who I think ends up with more rings than Allen or mahomes.

All that said I don’t love having to play a nasty team like ravens for a 3rd time and b2b weeks. Regardless who qb I don’t think ravens can score more than 17 on cincy. The question is can bengals score 24+ against a really good d who knows them well? The only reason I’m not sure bout that is im worried bout tee higgens, he was noticeably shook up after the incident and thought he was really off his game this past week that was most likely the worst game his career with 7 targets and only 1 catch for 7 yards!! Hopefully the fact Hamlin gonna be going home in next few days allows him to move past this, they need higgens to be himself cause with him I think bengals have one of if not the best wr trio in the league. Ravens secondary has no answers for all that, just a matter of higgens regaining his typical form.

Jags do have massive coaching edge and I’d like to think Etienne gashing chargers shit run d will allow Lawrence to settle in, he made some horrific damn throws last week tho, some good also but a few he missed were inexcusable, had he made those throws tits woulda been out the game and wouldn’t have took a defensive score to beat them. I think he quickly becoming one the best 5-7 qbs in the league but still have a hard time totally trusting him. I doubt the defense bails him out this week, he gonna have to hang a pretty big number to win this one, the run game should help him get there but gonna have to execute in red zone amd hit the shot plays that come off play action. Imo this game could go either way, I lean jags and over but props be where most my money at.

Yea I don’t care who plays qb for ravens just figure if he does play it likely some money come in on them. I rather get best line possible.

Can't argue with the Etienne prop; I think both offenses move. The one obvious scenario you don't want is Jags going down big, early and even then i think you'd have a shot.

It just such a tough go having to beat 2 of kc, bills, Cincy in b2b weeks on road. Even worse for them they drew the best WC team by far even if the coach a retard. That would be a pretty incredible 3 week stretch! I like Lawrence but he still little inconsistent for my taste. Shame there isn’t a team like these guys in the nfc.

Yea, I don’t think Dougie p would abandon the run unless they got crazy down, don’t think a score or 2 would deter him vs this team he knows they can have success on ground against.
 
I don’t think jags have a chance but value wise the fact they getting double what chargers are and getting more plus than the ravens seems silly to me, ravens money is deader than dead. There no way that team can beat cincy, bills, kc with or without Lamar!
