No way to leave 8 off the rainbow if he runs I don't think. Can't lose leg 1 because the best horse wins.

Ok I am gonna get my day started ... gentlemen .. when I look at the slew of winners at the end of the day and am bemoaning my unfortunate luck, I will be hoping you guys are holding winning tickets.

You're right. I like #4 much more and #8 appears to be a non win type, probably should be used
 
Saw the will pays and I have two shortest dd's despite having 7-1 and 15-1 ML's...that's fine, at least they are live

Scratches were no help at Gulfstream. #11 in the 8th might've been on some tickets, that's it.
 
Want to see how the turf plays in these early races, whether the rain yesterday dampens the early speed bias a little.

Agree turf had been bone dry and very spped favoring for a while, hopefully the moisture helps it play a little more fairly. We do get 3 races to see how its playing

Brisnet race histories:

Race 7 - 28 similar races in meet - 54% of winners at <5/1, 32% 5/1 to <10/1, 14% 10/1 or better
Race 8 - 23 races - 39%, 43%, 17%
Race 9 - 42 races - 71%, 12%, 17% (historically a good place to shorten the ticket, only dirt race too)
Race 10 - 9 races - 67%, 11%, 22% (not much to go on there)
Race 11 - 32 races - 75%, 22%, 3% (another place where short prices have done well)
Race 12 - 23 races - 65%, 22%, 13%


Races 9 and 11 historically the most formful, 7, 8 the most bomb laden.
 
It looks so awesome but no boozing or gambling makes it the ultimate tease. I guess at least you can get out on the water
