2025 Golf Handicapping Thread....

Played a few longshots on the futures market.

I want to see this course first a bit today.

I'll have US Open Contest running tonight!
 
Got Pendrith as 1st Round leader and to win outright......sweaty right now....need a bogey out of Smalley
 
Rd. 1 RBC. Played Connors -150 v. Olesen, mostly as a parlay partner w/ some MLB.

Staying clear of over/unders until things start becoming more clear / getting back to shoot-out golf.

Appreciate the data Reno, always good stuff. I'm certain with the U.S. Open and a new thread, discussion will start popping again. GL this week boys.
 
Travelers full tourney match up:

Young +110 vs Spaun: good course history and solid recency. Pretty hard for me to believe JJ won’t “bounce” off the huge US Open win. Coupled with the fact he’s paired up with Scottie the first two days. How does he not run out of gas mentally?

This isn’t my standard play of trying to find a guy who I think will miss the cut vs a guy I think will make the cut, but I will take a stab at this situational play at plus money.

Was on my 1st round leader list, which was a bust.......shoulda/woulda/coulda for the tourney ticket....
 
Diseased pick trying to fade JJ. Up 8 strokes after round 1, to being down 7 with 9 to play. Golf can be a funny sport to bet on, and I dont mean ha ha funny…

Hoping Tommy can get it done, he seems to be a good guy and deserves to be a winner in the US. Enjoy the afternoon…
 
0-3 Travelers, -13u. Still not seeing things well.

Expected a challenging closing round for Tommy as we all know how hard it is to win on this Tour. Hard to put 4 solid rounds together, win for the first time on American soil, only 4 of the past winners kept a 54 hole lead, do it in New England, home of captain American and plenty of chasers. Really wanted Tommy to get his first American win but he folded unfortunately.

Pretty cool.

And, unless I want to go down tomorrow I'm blocked out this week. Oh well.
