glad we are done with the Padres for now they ripped us a new asshole
off to Seattle for a three game series, to have any shot we need to sweep this before heading to Oakland on Monday

Calhoun went on the 10 day DL with a hamstring injury & Elvis went on as well with a lower back strain

Allard hopes to rebound tonight after his last start which was a mess

odd to see Elvis pinch run only to go on the IL the next day

sorry for you to have to be doing this thread daily, it must be brutal after this past week and i only lost bets on two of the games

yes it does suck, but as you know this is my third season doing every game....
at the beginning of this past week I had high hopes now I just hope we turn it around this weekend

odd to see Elvis pinch run only to go on the IL the next day

sorry for you to have to be doing this thread daily, it must be brutal after this past week and i only lost bets on two of the games

Allard’s night lasted 0.2 he gave up 5 hits 4 runs all of them earned walked 2 struck out 1 as we lose our 6th in a row 7-4 our record is now 10-15
Benjamin threw 4.1 innings gave up 3 hits 2 runs both earned walked 1 struck out 3 he gave up a solo HR
Santana went 1-4 hitting his first HR of this season drove in 1
Heineman went 2-3 driving in 2
Odor went 0-3 now batting .159 he drove in 1
we struck out 12 times 28 times over our last 2 games which clearly shows how we’ve lost control at the plate
went 1-5 with RISP and left 3 on base

our starters have given up 29 earned runs in our past 6 games

Lyles takes to the hill tonight, I expect a high scoring affair

more early innings crooked numbers and we get crushed again losing 10-1 our record is now 10-16 and have lost 7 in a row
Lyles sucked going 4.0 innings giving up 11 hits 8 runs all of them earned walked none struck out 2 and gave up a 3 run HR
Santana drove in our only run
we struck out 8 times went 0-5 with RISP and left 10 on base
Odor is totally lost at the plate went 0-4 batting .151

woody called a team meeting after the game, not sure what he can say at this point
our starting pitching has been awful
after our game with Seattle today we come home and face the A’s for four games then the Dodgers for three
a potentially disastrous week and will lead to multiple changes
Choo-Choo will attract interest as will Montero
hard to believe how fast the wheels fell off our bus

once again we fell behind early and was never in this game as we dropped our 8th in a row losing 4-1 our record stands at 10-17
our offense was offensive as we only collected 3 hits
Minor threw 6 innings but gave up 3 HR’s two solo ones and one 2 run blast he gave up 5 hits 4 runs all of them earned walked 1 and struck out 4

we struck out 8 times went 0-4 with RISP and left 4 on base

we are 3-11 on the road this year
this week 4 vs the A’s and 3 vs the Dodgers won’t be surprised if we will be sitting on a 15 game losing streak
Lynn takes to the hill tonight in what could be his last start as a Ranger

Lynn was brilliant and we got just enough offense as we win 3-2 snapping our 8 game losing streak our record is now 11-17
Lynn went 6 innings giving up 5 hits 2 runs both were earned walked 2 struck out 8 and gave up a solo HR
Montero bolstering his trade value by throwing 1.1 innings giving up 2 hits no runs and records his 6th save
Kiner-Falefa hit his first HR a solo shot
Frazier went 1-2 driving in 2
we bought up Taveras from alternate camp and placed him as our lead off hitter he went 1-3
won’t be surprised to see him as our lead off hitter rest of the way, this kid can play CF and a defensive gem
we struck out 8 times went 1-4 with RISP and left 6 on base
Daniels spoke ominously about the upcoming trade deadline, while we have many glaring holes we have a decent core to work around
Lynn will bring a “name” but then who’s our ace next year????
Choo-Choo has been great for us but it’s ok to trade him, Frazier as well
we must keep Montero & Lynn but knowing ownership and Daniels we will end up trading both and end up on the short end AGAIN
Gibson takes to the hill tonight

Lynn and Montero seem most likely to move, who takes over as closer? Jon Hernandez and then Joely moves into the 8th?

will be closer by committee for now, if Rangers eat 50% of Odor’s contract there are a few teams that would take him
he needs a new home, it’s all in his head

Lynn and Montero seem most likely to move, who takes over as closer? Jon Hernandez and then Joely moves into the 8th?

game was close heading into the 7th inning were only trailing 5-3 but the roof collapsed in top of the 7th and we lose 10-3 our record now stands at 11-18
Gibson threw 6.1 innings gave up 6 hits 7 runs all of them earned walked 2 struck out 7 and gave up 2 home runs

we struck out 8 times went 2-7 with RISP and left 5 on base
Gallo went 0-4 he’s now 1 for his last 16 AB’s batting .191

Allard takes to the hill today in what could be his last start of this season he’s allowed 10 runs in his last 3.2 pitched
Choo missed his 6th straight game last night

Allard was better but our offense still stunk and we lose 3-1 our record is now 11-19
Allard threw 5.1 innings giving up 1 hit 2 runs both earned walked 4 struck out 5
we only mustered 3 hits
Choo-Choo was being showcased in the lead off spot and went 1-3
Trevino & Solak each got one hit
our defense was sloppy as well committing 3 errors
Gallo went 0-3 in a 1-19 slump now batting .186
we struck out 12 times went 0-5 with RISP and left 5 on base

the game was almost postponed due to the NBA protests won’t be surprised if today’s or tomorrow’s game isn’t played

Lyles takes to the hill in a early start 5:37 CST

tonight’s game has been postponed due to the A’s voting on not to play
Rangers arrived to the park without knowledge of the A’s holding the vote
they will now play a DH on 9/12

Minor was very good and we go on to beat the mighty Dodgers 6-2 our record is now 12-19
Minor threw 6 innings gave up no runs 4 hits walked 3 and struck out 6 sadly didn’t get the W though
Choo-Choo went 2-5 knocking in 2 looking good since coming back, sadly I see him getting traded
Solak went 2-4 driving in 2
Trevino went 0-3 and drove in 1
Dietrich went 1-4 driving in 1 he hit his 2nd HR
Gallo went 0-1 and walked 3 times now batting .184
we only struck out 5 times went 4-10 with RISP and left 7 men on base

this by far was our biggest win of this season tonight we have Lynn on the hill
Santana went on the DL prior to the game last night with a sprained right elbow
Odor missed his third straight game with a eye infection

Max Muncy’s 3 run HR was our downfall as we lost 7-4 our record stands at 12-20
Lynn was ok throwing 6 innings giving up 5 hits 4 runs 3 of those earned walked 3 struck out 6 gave up a 2 run bomb by Bellinger
Choo-Choo drove in 1 run
Taveras & Guzman each hit their first HR’s of the season both solo shots
we struck out 6 times went 0-6 with RISP and left 7 on base
Gibson takes to the hill today trying to get us a much needed series win
off tomorrow and then we take the long (ha) journey to Houston to face the ‘Stros

fueled by 3 HR’s the Dodgers go on to beat us 7-3 our record now stands at 12-21
Gibson threw 5 innings giving up 5 hits 5 runs all of them earned walked 4 struck out 8 and gave up 3 HR’s
Mathis had a nice game going 2-3 driving in 1run
Gallo went 0-3 batting .183
we struck out 8 times went 0-6 with RISP and left 8 on base

our starters getting killed by giving up the long ball
the season is over for us we have 27 games left, time to see what the trade deadline does to the team
we are off today & will play in Houston tomorrow

I really hope Lyles stays with us anyone else who gets traded so long.........

looks like Joey Gallo heading to the Rays for pitching & Lynn heading to the Blue Jays
Choo,Frazier & Montero most likely going as well

Oakland A's have acquired left-hander Mike Minor from the Texas Rangers for two players to be named later
Jon Daniels is an asshole

two runs in the top of the tenth as we go on to win 6-5 our records stands at 13-21
Garcia was our “opener” then Lyles threw 5 innings giving up 6 hits 3 runs all of them earned walked 1 struck out 2
Hernandez got the W he’s now 5-0 with a 1.77 ERA
Montero got his 7th save
Solak,Guzman & Elvis each drove in one run, Stros were sloppy committing 3 errors
Gallo went 0-4 now batting .176
we struck out 9 times and went 2-11 with RISP and left 6 on base
Allard starts tonight, let’s hope we get 5 good innings from him

Brantley’s first inning 2 run HR was all the Astros needed to beat us 2-1 our record now stands at 13-22
Allard was very good throwing 7 innings allowing just 2 hits 2 runs both earned walked 2 struck out 5
our lone run came from a Kiner-Falefa HR his second of the season
we had only 3 hits
our 1-4 batters went 1-15
we struck out 7 times went 0-1 with RISP and left 3 on base
this afternoon we have an excellent pitching matchup Lynn vs Greinke I see our bats waking up against him
after the game off to Seattle for a weekend series

Lynn gave up four in the bottom of the first & we never recovered as we lost 8-4 dropping our record to 13-23
Lynn threw 6 innings gave up 8 hits 6 runs all of them earned walked 2 struck out 7 and gave up two HR’s
Choo-Choo hit his 4th of the year a solo shot
Trevino went 2-4 driving in 2
Elvis drove in our other run
Gallo is totally lost at the plate going 0-3 and now batting .175
Funny thing here is no one is really talking aloud how bad he is this season
we struck out 12 times went 2-9 with RISP and left 7 on base

In Seattle this weekend with Kyle Cody making his MLB debut he’s taking Minor’s spot in the rotation
This will be his fourth appearance for the Rangers but his first start, he has thrown 4.1 innings of scoreless ball all in relief
Let’s hope we win 3/4

on a pitch count Cody threw 45 pitches we fell behind early and once again our offense sucked as we lose 6-3 our record is now 13-24
Cody threw 3.0 innings gave up 1 hit 1 run which wasn’t earned walked 2 struck out 2
3 of our 5 hits came in the ninth inning
Choo-Choo went 0-3 now at .198
Elvis 0-3 at .180
Gallo,Trevino & Solak each drove in 1 run
we struck out 9 times went 2-3 with RISP and left 2 on base

Gibson takes to the hill today I see the team scoring 5+ runs tonight Woody went after them hard post game

we were tied 2-2 heading into the bottom of the eighth then the Mariners broke the game open with 3 runs winning the game 6-3 we have lost 4 in a row our record now stands at 13-25
Gibson was just ok throwing only 4.2 innings giving up 6 hits 2 runs both earned walked 3 struck out 4
Hernandez stunk up the joint throwing 1.1 innings giving up 4 hits 3 runs all of them earned and he got the L
Elvis & Odor have lost their starting jobs for the rest of this season it’s time to see what the kids can do
Gallo didn’t start either, he deserves to sit out rest of the season as well
BTW his only at bat he made an out now at .176
Tejeda, Choo-Choo & Heineman all drove in one run

I didn’t think I’d say this in the abbreviated season but Woody & his entire staff needs to go
the glaring pitching woes & the lack of preparation at the plate tells me the current staff can’t fix things “on the fly”
Jon Daniels needs to go as well but ownership won’t do this
the team has quit it’s obvious & Woody is a nice guy but has lost the locker room

Jon Daniels still living off the respect he doesn't deserve for earning that 1 seed and trading for hitters when the team clearly needed pitchers

I recall you being way higher on TEX than most people pre-season, but not really sure what Woody could do with this many offensive holes and then trading players away. Still don't get why Lynn wasn't moved, but this is a major rebuild and sadly i'm not sure who is really that meaningful in the farm system

I really felt our starters could be dominate and we’d score just enough to win 32 games
I failed to realize that 70% of our team wasn’t physically prepared due to improper off season conditioning due to the lack of coaching observation & instructions
Daniels convinced ownership he could walk on water & now he’s drowning
our team is totally broken, Odor is as useless as tits on a bull
Gallo regressed, Elvis on the downside
we have no 1B no 3B and now no 2B
our starters well they love to give up the long ball and our pen is a mess
2021 looks worse than this year unless ownership opens their fat wallets and blows up the entire front office and coaching staff

Jon Daniels still living off the respect he doesn't deserve for earning that 1 seed and trading for hitters when the team clearly needed pitchers

we lost our fifth in a row 4-3 our record now stands at 13-26 thankfully our season ends in 21 games
Lyles threw 6.1 innings and once again giving up long balls killed him
he gave up 3 hits 4 runs all earned walked 4 struck out 4 and gave up 2 HR’s a 2 run shot and a solo shot
Tavares,Guzman & Gallo all hit solo HR’s
Gallo went 1-4 and batting .179
we struck out 8 times went 0-1 with RISP and left 6 on base
Allard takes to the mound today as we try to avoid a 4 game sweep & continue our losing ways
the team is broken you can see it in their faces, I like Woody but he has lost this team

once again we give up runs in the first inning and then Allard gets thumped in the fourth as we end up losing our sixth in a row 8-4 our record now stands at 13-27
Allard threw 3.2 innings giving up 5 hits 8 runs all of them earned walked 4 struck out 5 and gave up 2 HR’s
Solak & Trevino each drove in one run
Gallo went 1-3 driving in 2 now batting .183
Elvis went 0-4 batting .172
Choo-Choo hurt his right wrist and left the game in the fourth
hard to believe but we are 4-17 on the road
Lynn goes to the mound tonight he’s on a two game losing streak, I see him throwing a big game & our kids show some pride to gain a victory in our opener vs the Angels

Lance threw 114 pitches through 7 innings and we win comfortably 7-1 our record now stands at 14-27
Lynn went 7 innings giving up 4 hits 1 run it was earned walked 2 struck out 6 and gave up a solo HR
White,Guzman,Solak & Kiner-Falefa all drove in one run
Elvis hit a solo HR his second of the year he’s batting .177
we struck out 8 times went 2-10 with RISP and left 6 on base
while it was nice to get a win it means nothing if we don’t win at least one of these next two against the lowly Halo’s

it took 7 pitchers but we won our 2nd in a row 7-3 our record stands at 15-27
Cody threw 2.1 innings gave up 3 hits one run which was earned walked 3 struck out 3
King got the W by throwing 2.0 innings gave up 1 hit 1 run which was not earned
Odor,Guzman,White & Gallo each drove in 1 run
Solak drove in 2
Kiner-Falefa was our batting star going 4-4 now batting .322
we struck out 10 times went 5-8 with RISP and left 6 on base

Danny Santana had surgery yesterday on his right elbow to repair ligament damage will be on the mend for 7 months
Odor came back from the IL and Choo-Choo went on it
Trevino injured his wrist during an AB this means our #2 prospect will be joining the big club
Sam Huff hes never played above A ball but he’s a good one

Gibson takes to the hill this afternoon as we go for the sweep

Gibson gives up a three run shot in the top of the first, we couldn’t overcome that and we lose 6-2 our record now stands at 15-28
Gibson threw 5.2 innings gave up 10 hits 5 runs all of them earned walked 3 struck out 3 and gave up 2 HR’s
we struck out 15 times Bundy recorded 12 of them went 0-8 with RISP and left 4 on base
not sure why Woody started Odor but he was “rewarded” with an 0-4 night now batting .138
Gallo went 0-3 batting .182
Dietrich went 0-2 batting .159

A’s come to town for a four game series, we have a DH on Saturday
I hope we win one game, I hope

it’s Groundhogs Day in the life of a Rangers fan, once again we give up a crooked number in the top of the first, tonight was a Olson grand slam & we lose 10-6 as our record falls to 15-29
Garcia didn’t record an out as he walked 3 gave up 1 hit which was a grand slam 4 runs all earned
Lyles threw 7.0 innings giving up 9 hits 5 runs all earned walked 2 struck out 5 and gave up 2 HR’s
Solak & Andrus each drove in 1 Elvis hit his 3rd HR and managed 2 hits he’s now batting .190
Odor hit his 3rd HR a two run shot and now is batting .144
we struck out 11 times went 0-3 with RISP and left 5 on base
Sam Huff made his MLB debut & went 0-3 striking out twice and walked once
We have a double header against the A’s today and I see us getting swept

for a change we scored in the first inning and we cruise to a 5-2 win our record stands at 16-29
Goody did his opener job, then Benjamin threw 4.0 innings gave up 3 hits 2 runs both earned walked 1 struck out 4
Montero recorded his 8th save
Odor hit a 3 run HR his 5th of the season now batting .151
Guzman hit his third HR a two run shot
we struck out only 6 times went 1-1 with RISP and left 2 on base
Gallo went 0-2 batting .182

game two went like the rest of our season A’s scored 7 times in the top of the second going on to win 10-1 our record stands at 16-30
Allard got rocked again throwing 1.0 innings allowing 5 hits 6 runs 5 of them earned walked 2 struck out 1
Gallo went 2-3 hit his 9th HR a solo shot batting .192
we struck out 10 times went 2-6 with RISP and left 8 on base
Craziest part about game two is we out hit the A’s 10-9 but lost by 9 runs

Lynn takes to the hill this afternoon

Last edited:
Lynn pitched his ass off once again as we win 6-3 our record now stands at 17-30
Lynn threw 110 pitches over 7 innings giving up only 3 hits one run which was earned walked 2 struck out 10
we split the four game series

such a shame they didn’t trade him to a contender, they need the pieces and been nice to see him back in the postseason.

I’m thinking only “chip” ownership has to sell season tickets next year is Lynn
so they will showcase him & then do what they do best lose him to free agency for nothing....

such a shame they didn’t trade him to a contender, they need the pieces and been nice to see him back in the postseason.

we only gave up 1 run in the bottom of the first but yet again our offense was putrid and we lose 4-2 our record now stands at 17-31
Cody pitched 3.0 innings gave up 4 hits 1 run which was earned walked 2 struck out 1 and gave up a solo HR
Goody was baddy pitching 0.0 gave up 1 hit 2 runs both earned walked 2 struck out none
we only mustered 4 hits struck out 9 times went 1-3 with RISP and left 3 on base
Gallo went 0-4 batting .187
Odor went 1-3 batting .160
Calhoun came back from the IL and went 0-4
Guzman drove in our only run

Gibson takes to the hill tonight, expecting him to give up a bunch of runs

DouceBag Daniels stated the “young exciting kids” will be playing most everyday & he doesn’t see signing any big FA’s in the offseason
Not sure the fan base will like this we are now assured our fourth straight losing season

We'd better enjoy the world series games at Globe Life Field this year...it's gonna be a cold day in hell before we see WS games there because the Rangers are actually in them.

not sure where last nights Gibson had been his entire career, but last night was his best ever as we won 1-0 our record now stands at 18-31
Gibson threw a complete game only giving up 4 hits no runs walked 3 struck out 9 this was his first shutout in his career
Gallo knocked one our only run as he went 1-4 now batting .188
Calhoun struggling since coming back went 0-5 he’s batting .152
Odor 1-4 batting .163
we struck out 12 times went 1-4 with RISP and left 5 on base
Lyles takes to the hill tonight

we had another night of good pitching & another night of anemic offense as we lose 2-1 our record now stands at 18-32
Lyles threw 7 innings giving up only 3 hits 2 runs both earned but one of those hits was a 2 run bomb the difference in the game
he walked 1 struck out 2
Odor went 0-4 now batting .157
Gallo went 0-3 now batting .185
we struck out 15 times went 1-6 with RISP and left 5 on base
we did not hit a HR during this series and it’s the first time since Minute Maid opened we haven’t hit one

we are in Anaheim this weekend I do expect us to win this series

once again our lack of offense cost us as we lose 6-2 dropping our record to 18-33
Herget did his job as the opener, Benjamin threw 4 innings giving up 6 hits 2 runs both earned walked 2 struck out 4 gave up a HR to Albert
Calhoun went 1-3 driving in 2 runs batting .159
Eli White experiment is failing miserably he’s had 33 AB’s and only batting .121
Gallo 1-4 batting .186
struck out 10 times went 1-2 with RISP and left 4 on base

We have Lynn on the hill tonight, I really do expect a big effort from him

we gave Lance a three run lead in the top of the first, but it wasn’t enough as we lost 4-3 our record now stands at 18-34
Lynn threw 7 innings allowing 7 hits 3 runs all of them earned walked none struck out 5 gave up a solo shot to Ohtani
Martin took the loss he threw 1.0 inning gave up 1 hit 1 run which was not earned walked 1
Apostel made a big error that cost us the game
Odor hit his 7th HR a two run shot which was his only hit in 4 at bats batting .161
Tavares hit his third HR a solo shot
Eli White still getting AB’s not sure why he went 0-3 batting .111
we struck out 11 times went 0-6 with RISP and left 5 on base
thankfully only 8 games left to this season

Cody gets the ball on Sunday

Cody pitched 5 solid innings & we hit 5 HR’s and win 7-2 our record now stands at 19-34
Cody threw 5 innings giving up 3 hits one run which was earned walked none struck out 5
Tejeda,Huff,Odor & Dietrich all hit solo HR’s
Gallo hit his 10th HR a two run shot
Odor mustered 2 hits now batting .172
Gallo batting .187
we struck out 12 times went 1-5 with RISP and left 5 on base

Gibson gets the ball this afternoon as we end up our series with the Angels
we then go to Arizona for three and end up home against the Astros for our final 3 games
I’d like to see a 5-2 finish, let’s see how this goes

powered by a 7 run fourth inning the Angels go on to win 8-5 our record stands at 19-35
Gibson was awful in his four innings gave up five hits 8 runs 7 of them earned walked four and struck out four he gave up a grand slam to Walsh in the fourth inning onslaught
here’s a crazy stat we have given up 8 grand slams this season so far our record is 9 but that’s over a 162 game season this tell you how bad our pitching has been this year
Gibson has given up 2 of the 8 slams
Solak and Tejada each drove in one run
Kiner-Falefa went 2-4 he hit his 3rd HR a solo shot
Dietrich went 1-4 he hit his 5th HR a 2 run shot
we struck out 6 times went 3-10 with RISP and left 4 on base
Gallo and Odor each went hit less Odor batting .167 Gallo .183

off to Arizona for three games then home for our final three against the Assholes
Lyles goes to the hill tonight

this season can’t end soon enough as we get shut out for the first time this season losing 7-0 our record is now 19-36
Lyles sucked again going 5 innings giving up 10 hits 7 runs 4 of them earned walked none struck out 3 and gave up a 3 run HR
Gallo & Odor each went 0-4 Gallo batting .179 and Odor .161
it looks like our veterans have quit and our rookies aren’t ready for the bigs just yet
struck out 9 times went 0-8 with RISP and left 9 on base we are hitting .216 with RISP the worst in the AL
we had bases loaded no outs in the top of the first, Gallo popped out on a foul ball and Odor & Tejeda struck out
Gallo is 1-22 with the bases loaded since 2018
it’s getting old from Woody saying the club is playing such a young team, it shows how Daniels has been an awful GM & I like Woody but this team has no discipline at all we need a total overhaul

going to be very hard selling season tickets for next year we will most likely lose 100 games minimum
unless ownership really steps up
