As a Badger fan I hope like hell Florida beats Arkansas, because I don't want to take on Florida in the Capitol One Bowl... Arky we match up much better against.

Happy to see that the ESPN2 announcers were wrong when they said South Carolina would play Houston on the Liberty Bowl 100x tonight..

I like So Carolina vs. Maryland much better..

I think arky rolls over wisky.. If florida loses in the sec game then i think they lose in the capital one as well.. it will be ahuge letdown spot considering they have been cryin over the bcs for months.

Van--Nice to see you. I'm working on mine. I don't want to get too ahead of myself because about half of these are just projections. I'll do the ones that are already set.

oregon favored? hmm interesting.

hawaii only -3 at home? interesting..look forward to the rest RJ.

RJ, welcome back...hope you enjoyed your trip to Austin, except for the game of course.

These games will be a lot more clear in 24 hours, so no need to really speculate. No way UCLA is laying 6 to the 'Noles. 1st one to 10 wins this game.

I actually have BYU favored by 2 but I think the line will be shaded to Oregon with Pac-10 talent and size. Then again, BYU is not small. I like BYU as a dog like I did last year when a BYU team covered the +7.5 to beat Cal.

Hawaii is a shocker to me being favored by more than a TD today against Oregon St. I would not be shocked to see Oregon St win outright or keep it close. ASU with a coach farewell to Koetter--extra emotion there.

Horses--Thanks, dude. Game sucked. Florida St sucks horribly this year and UCLA should be favored in this game. If not by 6 then by how much?

Cubsker--Good luck today. After this year, nothing would surprise me.

Bump with a few new confirmed matchups and line predictions and corrections after yesterday's action.

More will come in today and tomorrow for the lesser bowls...BCS announced at 7:50 p.m.

Don't miss the in-game!

Miami v. Nevada will be a hard one to cap. Miami has better athletes but will they be motivated in Boise. Will their fans travel? We know Nevada will be motivated and their fans will be there in droves. Plus they have played in that stadium too.

Personally, I like Nevada as a dog in that one.

agree 100% with all the BCS matchups. with the system we got, and how things shook out...despite any personal loyalties...this IS how it should shake out, or how it should've shaken out. again, given what we got.

LSU is going to mudstomp the fuckin' Irish. The Irish aren't going to stop the Tigers at home and the Tigers will beat the shit out of the Irish front 5 and receivers.

Teams that are playing basically at home:

New Mexico vs SJSU at Alberquerque...

Hawaii vs Arizona St in Hawaii...

UCLA vs FSU in San Fran, CA

Cal vs A & M in San Diego , CA

Texas Tech vs Oreg St in El Paso, TX

Texas vs Iowa in San Ant, TX

Clemson vs Navy in Chalotte, NC

UGA vs Va Tech in Georgia Dome

S Miss vs OU in Mobile, ALA (fairly close)

LSU vs ND in Superdome.....(wowie.)

USC vs Mich @ the Rose Bowl (karma anyone)

as I said on AIM (and I get the homefield adjustment), I don't see SC as a fave over Mich....

I think the OU line may be shaded a bit higher than that..

The tOSU line prolly will be right where u have it or at 7.5..

Arky/Wisky should be interesting.....Wisky was supposed to get stomped last year against Auburn and didn't....wonder what that line will be.

Music City Bowl is confirmed: Clemson v. Kentucky

With Kentucky gone, most likely that Liberty Bowl will be Houston v. South Carolina.

Also, with Clemson gone, most likely it will be Maryland v. Navy in the Car Care Bowl.

I tell you what has become clear from researching and tracking these projections: the SEC and Big 10 are heavily represented in January bowl contracts. By comparison, the Big XII has only one January bowl tie-in (Cotton) while SEC and Big 10 have 2 each.

One more confirmed: Outback Bowl is Tennessee v. Penn St.

One more all but confirmed: Auburn v. Nebraska in the Cotton Bowl

Liberty now confirmed: Cocks v. Cougar High

Cotton Bowl now confirmed: Nebraska v. Auburn

Major January Bowls are now set and confirmed.

Just was looking to see where the might Golden Gophers were playing and the U of M website has them in the Insight Bowl against Texas Tech

Minnesota is definitely going to the Insight but I have 3 sites saying 3 different things.

I think it will be Texas Tech, though.

I don't know why USF doesn't just confirm that they are going to the Pizza Bowl and be done with it. They are pretty much locked in.

I'd be surprised to see many more announcements before the BCS is announced in an hour or so and we change this thread to the in-game....

Just curious-I've never really played bowls any earlier than the day before the game occurs in the past...

Am I going to lose value if I don't lock into some of these lines right when they come out? Or do they generally hold somewhat steady?

Have been following you do this all day, and just wanted to say thanks. Great to see the updates flying all day.

It depends on the line honestly.

I play most of mine the week of.

There can be some variance in the line.

Muttcope--No problem. I'm an addict.

USC......er.......Georgia is confirmed for the Peach. Most likely against Virginia Tech.

Battle of good programs having down years.
