***World Series In-Game***

Albies swung at a ball when the mfer can’t throw a strike. Then riley comes up and swings at 3 balls. On both dogs, and both have had a bs double play like that go against
Yep. Needed that run bad. Let him off the hook.

I was on the phone and missed it. Didn't they start with Tepera? What was the idea behind going to Bummer?

Anyway, just get out of this inning only giving up one and I'll take it.

Meanwhile, the fear I've had all year about being out-managed in the playoffs is giving me anxiety again.

Still going to fucking chase this team into the ground in their first game at home. But the better team is winning this series right now.

Also, and I hate to say it, but Javy Baez makes those defensive plays up the middle

Their positioning was bad, too. If and, you know, big IF because it's a long series and anything can happen, but if this team gets run out of the postseason I'm going to be really fucking pissed about being right about LaRussa. Because I could have managed this roster to a win in the Central this year.

LaRussa isn’t the man for this job. Let’s get some young fresh blood in there.

I fucking hate Altuve. Now, I assume 85% of that is because he's that good and not on my team. The other 15% is the cheating. But basically I just hate him because he's that good.

I want to do a 32 oz chug a thon against him

Seems the kind of guy I'm good with shaking hands with if I lose and can shoot for the middle hand

His inner circle is full of dbags but at least he loves animals

Sox were such frauds. 54 games vs Royals Indians and Twins will do that

I do think the truth is somewhere in the middle. The Central was awful, but this is also still a young team that needs to learn how to win.

Part of the question is, was LaRussa the guy to teach them that. Because you can argue that he managed them much more like a veteran team this year. Gave them a lot of rope to do their thing, once they had a big lead in the Central, let them coast. Meanwhile, this roster has never won a postseason game and in these first two games in Houston, it's showed.

This post was a journey. Hahahaha.

To dissect the issues with baseball

The game that started 3 hours after the Houston game is in the 5th inning

Who the fk has the attention span for this? And there's zero chance a kid has this kind of patience

Welp, the better team is up 2-0 in games. Back to Chicago, with no room for error. Let's see what you've got, Carlos Rodon.

I was talking about this with a friend the other night after that Dodgers game. That game was at like 3:30 some time in the 7th. The whole thing lasted damn near five hours. Or maybe it just felt that way. I mean, it was a fun game, intense the whole way through. But it wasn't 10-9. It was 1-1 for basically the entire thing and it was well over four hours.

Maybe it's a pitch clock, IDK, but nobody is watching all that unless they are super invested, financially or otherwise.

Running clock like futbol maybe?

This has become ridiculous. Watch the first inning, nap, wake up in the 6th and if it's close then kinda pay attention.

Another nap, bottom of the 8th...where we at?

That's what this has become

Yeah, I can't ever see them doing a running clock. But I believe everywhere but the majors has a pitch clock now, so that's coming. For some reason, though, the post-season games have all felt like marathons. Even with the three batter rule for pitchers. I'm sure MLB hates it too.
