Head of Alabama Department of Decision-Making
I consider this tournament the first after the post-Masters lull. Good field this week, with JT, Rory, Rickie, Phil and of course Eldrick. When doing your research, remember that they didn't play at Quail Hollow last year, since QH hosted the PGA Championship. JT won that with a score of -8, which is a good bit lower than the usual winning score at QH, which you would expect with it being a major. One and done candidates for me at first glance: Rory, Rickie, Hideki, and maybe Oosthuizen

Yup, I'm the same way, this marks the season getting back underway. Looking forward to it.

One name that I'll add to the list above is Tony Finau. He's been trending for a while, think he gets a win soon.

Tony is one of those guys with multiple Top 3 finishes without a win. I will probably have action on a few of these:

C. Hadley
T. Finau
B. DeChambeau
L. List
R. Fowler
A. Noren

I'm also looking at Fleetwood, Tiger, Moore, Hadwin, Hatton, O'Hair and Dufner. I might throw some darts on Keegan, Mullinax, Lindheim, Niemann and Putnam.

Was at the PGA last year, and will be at the Wells this yr. Clients Mom has house on 14th green , which is great because many golfers can and try to drive this par four. P Reed and T Fleetwood on radar and agree with T Finau

Phil Mickelson (1st Rnd)* +100 vs Paul Casey (1st Rnd)

DAMN!!! THAT should be MONEY but my books do NOT offer that one. Westgate has Rory McIlroy -150 over Paul Casey. Casey shot 75-74 (Masters)-70-73-73 his last five first rounds. Mickelson 70 (Masters)-68-69-70-69 his last five

I will chance Mickelson even over Jason Day first round. Day with 75 (Masters)-73-69-73-69 his last five first rounds

Brice Garnett +165 [even] over Hideki Matsuyama [+6] (31/82.15)

Charl Schwartzel -155 vs Peter Malnati

Phil's short game let him down yesterday. I had a couple FRL hopefuls towards the end, but Peterson...wow! Back to back eagles to end the round. GEAUX TIGERS!

No round 2 matchups. I just added some 'To Win' action on...

Patrick Reed +3300
Keith Mitchell +4000
Phil Mickelson +8000
Sam Burns +8000
Aaron Wise +9000

Bryson has himself a round going to get back into it...

-4 through 11 for today...

Koepka finishes at +2

Need a solid par at 9 from Bryson and feel real good going into the weekend after it looked brutal yesterday (the wager).

HUGE 2nd round comeback DeChambeau [-6] for tourney [-2] to MAKE the CUT and get back in his tourney match play with Hadley [+3] for [+2] projected CUT is [+2] :shake:

typical Fleetwood. another [+3] for tourney [+6] CUT. I have to LEARN to STAY AWAY from "Cocker Tommy". he is fighting for the lead IF I bet AGAINST him and "blows up" IF I bet ON him

I just HAVE to GIVE UP on trying to pick round by round match plays. freeking one for four AGAIN Friday. I would have been better off going "Oh Fer" because would have "gotten my bait back" with the hedge

Austin Cook +105 over Adam Scott (50/102.50) [+1/-1]
Brice Garnett +165 over Hideki Matsuyama (31/82.15) [+1/-3]
Peter Malnati +135 over Charl Schwartzel (37/86.95) [-3/-4] (supposed to WIN with a [-3])
Charles Howell III +135 over Tommy Fleetwood (37/86.95) [-3/+3] (god damn Fleetwood)

:golffrustrated:

about choked on my donut when I saw Peter Uihlein 7 birdies and an eagle for [-9] and tourney [-7]. the guy has been "Mr Missed Cut" since coming over from the Euro Tour. played well last season tied 5th WGC-HSBC, in China, winning a Web. com event and four top 10 on the Euro Tour including 2nd in Open de France one behind Tommy Fleetwood but NOTHING lately

3rd round Phil Mickelson in at [-7] for tourney [-5] and Aaron Wise [-2] for Tourney [-8] thru #11 tied for the lead with Jason Day [-2] for [-8] thru #12 :shake:

I walked the grounds this morning...bounced between the Phil, Rory and Tiger groups. Lefty was solid! I’m not sure he(or anyone) will catch Day though.

final round adjusted "to win" odds are Jason Day -120 @ William-Hill with his [-4] for tourney [-10]. definitely his tourney to WIN with a two shot lead. others are [William-Hill / Westgate] best odds
Paul Casey 8-1 / 9-1 [-2/-7]
Bryson DeChambeau 12-1 / 10-1 [-5/-7]
Aaron Wise 20-1 / 20-1 [-1/-7]
Charl Schwartzel 22-1 / 25-1 [-1/-6]
Phil Mickelson 22-1 / 25-1 [-7/-5]
Rickie Fowler 35-1 / 40-1 [-3/-4]
Johnson Wagner 50-1 / 50-1 [-2/-6]
Sam Saunders 50-1 / 40-1 [-3/-6]
Patrick Reed 50-1 / 50-1 [-4/-4]
Rory McIlroy 60-1 / 60-1 [-5/-3]
Tiger Woods 750-1 / 500-1 [-1/-3]
FIELD 3-1 William-Hill / 12-1 Westgate
<<westgate>>
Nick Watney 8-1 [-5/-8]
Peter Uihlein 18-1 [-9/-7]
<<william-Hill>>
Charles Howell III 200-1 [even/-3]
Emiliano Grillo 200-1 [even/-3]
Peter Malnati 300-1 [+4/-3]
Tyrrell Hatton 300-1 [+1/-1]
Martin Kaymer 750-1 [+2/even]
Ollie Schniederjans 750-1 [+1/+1]
Webb Simpson 750-1 [even/even]

I have these working (bet return)

Peter Uihlein 18-1 (20/380) final round odds
Bryson DeChambeau 50-1 (10/510) pre-tourney odds
Nick Watney 40-1 (10/410) after 2nd round odds
Luke List 60-1 (8/488) pre-tourney odds
Johnson Wagner 40-1 (10/410) after 2nd round odds

Oh hell might as well "tack on" Phil Mickelson 25-1 (10/260). kind of aggravating he was 150-1 after the 2nd round though

Congrats on the win, Jason Day.

Ya well NO ONE really challenged the bugger final round. ALL the leaders with pretty "pedestrian" rounds. TOO bad because Watney and Wise get tied 2nd and DeChambeau outright 3rd. Uihlein proved why HE will always be an "also ran" with final round [even] after that 3rd [-9]. BEST round of the DAY Tony Finau [-5]

I end up going 3-2 in tourney match plays but LOST my BUTT on 1st and 2nd round plays :(

Matchups:

Fowler EV vs JT
Bryson -120 vs Koepka
Lovemark -130 vs Dufner

2 of these were rarely in doubt (1 win, 1 loss). Fowler played 16 and 17 in +3 Sunday to push with JT
