Week One...What have we learned so far?

UGA has beasts at running back

PSU is the best coached team in taking nothing and finding ways to win games.

Point one is an understatement

If anybody disagrees with you with point 2 just let them know that O'Brien turned Matt McGloin into a rostered NFL QB, ahead of Tyler Wilson

Any qbs impress you?

Hundley from UCLA....he's going to destroy Nebraska again in a couple weeks.

Brett Smith. Nebraska apparently can't stop a soul, but still..impressive to go into Lincoln and perform like that.

Gary Nova: Thought he sacked up in a very tough spot, facing a scary foe on the other side of the country.

Scheelhaase: Great kid who reminded people that he can indeed complete a pass longer than 2 yards if given the opportunity. he'll get bludgeoned once he faces a real defense with that O-line however.

deceiving scores list

Alabama Virginia tech ( defensive score, ST score, 11 fd for bama and 206 yards? ) Wrong side won ( Alabama )
Texas State 22 USM 15 ( USM outgained them 400-215 )

There’s just one problem. “The A” already exists.

Of all SEC teams Saturday, Florida had the best run def. (50 yds), total def. (205), opponent 3rd downs (1/13) and t.o.p. (39:48).

Toledo isn't a bad offensive team. They were real vanilla but they were 17 for 22 153 passing yards. They controlled the game completely. To say the offense sucked isn't accurate at all.

VK, interested in your thoughts on UNLV-Minnesota and how the wrong team won. I agree the score is deceiving, but still think it plays out to a 31/34-17 type win by the gophers without the non offensive TDs.

By wrong team won I mean including the two td ( close 14 at bm ). more yards, more fd, greater time of possession.... for the two td dog... yet fave backers cashed, that is all I am saying.

Understandable. My thinking is those scores also took away 3 possessions from Minnesota's offense. If they add 60-70 yards of offense, 3 first downs, and a few minutes of time of possession does it still look as deceiving?

u do gotta remember tha TOs an kick return for a TD took away a lot of yards for minny. agree wit what mot said about this also. from those 3 non O scoring tds they shoulda an woulda outgained in yards and on FD. shoulda been a closer game, but minny O did have 3 fewer chances on O because of those scores.

Teddy Bridgewater is nice, but they have zero and I mean zero shot at playing for the Natty Title

The schedule got no help either after some results from this weekend

UCLA has arrived and players are buying in. Not a big win but mentally will give them confidence. Keep an eye out west for these guys.

You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.

I learned UCLA is even better than I anticipated and I already knew they were going to be fucking awesome.

Should be solid second half value with them all season. Great depth on defense keeping the linemen & linebackers fresh and an offense that doesn't stop. Even in the beginning of the 4th when the game was in hand Hundley was still out there and the offense was still running the hurry up.
