Week 4 in the FCS, Ivy League joins party

Lehigh is 3-1. Princeton's new QB(s) really struggled and as typical, for some reason Princeton OLs are not good units. Lehigh got a lot of pressure throughout the game.

Long Island let one slip away. They went for a 4th-2 at the 12 on their first possession and with the 14-7 lead in the 2H they went for 4th-goal at the 1 and failed both of those. They forced a URI fumble inside the 5 yard line with 4-1/2 min to go, but fumbled it back the very next play and URI was able to tie it 2 plays later. LIU punted, URI went down the field and took a 28-21 lead and LIU got in striking distance, but a pass into the EZ fell incomplete.

Columbia has a QB, two of them. That is the best I've seen their offense look vs a quality team.

Harvard scored a TD with :06 left before HT for the 1H Over

Very large big red flag for Cornell. Colgate scored 41 pts, the Raiders scored 37 in their 3 previous games combined. Colgate doesn't score like that unless they are playing a very bad defense

Fordham falls to 0-4 getting dominated by Dartmouth

Merrimack flipped to favored against Maine, but lost

Looks like Sacred Heart might just play one good game all damn year and it was last week. Stonehill beat them 35-21

Norfolk lost by 30 to Hampton last week. Saturday they beat VMI by 22. They held VMI without a TD for 59 minutes. Very very bad look for VMI

3 of Holy Cross' 4 games this season have been decided in the final minutes. Yale wins this one in OT

Lindenwood 64-0 over St Thomas!

Pitt 73-17 over YSU!

Tennessee Tech got a 56y pick-six in the final minute to win by 10 (+9.5 damn)

Western Carolina gave Montana a hell of a game, but hard to play that good 4 quarters in that stadium. Ah Yat hurt and Fife finished. Riley Wilson called for targeting will miss 1H next week

New Hampshire jumped out 31-3 HT then kind of put it on cruise control. Was a sloppy 2H, Bryant played a pretty good 2H, they got within 14 at one point

Stony Brook has won 3 straight games after not winning any last year!

Bethune-Cookman loses to Clark Atlanta!

Monmouth beats FIU! Monmouth had just broke the 42-42 tie, so it's 45-42. FIU is driving down the field, driving, they their receiver is running towards the EZ, before he scores the go-ahead TD, he fumbles at the 1 yard line and Monmouth recovers for the win with like :20 left!

Furman played better than expected. W&M with a late TD while running out the clock to win by 10

ETSU pretty much dominated Elon

Speaking of domination, NCCU over A&T, damn...

Penn made Delaware work for that win. Hens were playing without RB Yarns and one of their top WRs. Penn is going to be pretty good

Texas Southern was offsides twice with the lead on 4th down when Lamar was throwing in the EZ in the final minute trying to come back. The first one gave them a 4th-5 and another shot at the EZ. The second one gave them a first down. Lamar scored a TD and won the game. Both the passes were incomplete, without just one of those 4th down penalties, Texas Southern wins the game. Unreal.

Grambling was outgained 271-438, but they scored twice on D off an INT and a fumble recovery and they had another 13y 'drive' after a third turnover for 21 pts off turnovers. Penalties also killed Jackson all night, 11 for 111 yards

There was a sequence of plays where Northern Arizona receiver dropped a short pass in the EZ on 4th down, next play Incarnate Word gets a 97y TD run. So instead of it potentially being 24-21 UIW, it was 31-14. NAU had a slight total yardage edge, but lost by 24.

Abilene really pushed Idaha down the stretch. McIvor fumbled on a QB scramble with under :20 to go when they were nearing FG range and Vandals escaped

After having watched UC Davis play 4 football games this year I can only come to one conclusion, they are a bad offensive team. They played Utah Tech. Nobody struggles to score on Utah Tech, except for Davis. Thank god for the 17.5 as they only won by 18. Larrison is terrific and their D isn't bad, but Hastings is not good right now and their OL and their play calling and their offensive excution is all bad.

When does Eastern Washington fire Aaron Best? He's a former player there so there is probably some more respect involved, but he's got to be the first coach fired.
