Love the Tuesday Degenerate Derby prep card at Keeneland today ...
Don't have a ton of time but the #6 CHANCER MCPATRICK really jumps out at me. The plan is to single him in the pick 3 and 4 ....Don't have a ton of time to post today , but I'll post my tickets once I hit the OTB on lunch today ...


MLB has kicked my arse out of the gate , I'll try to be more selective only playing a game or two per day if any .....

I don’t matter tho. Just float what you thinking by the discussion thread and I’ll do my best to give ya thoughts on the game itself, possible props instead, or what i do or dont like. Havnt seen you mlb plays so dunno anything bout your style.
 
Keeneland Pick 4 Race 7

Race 7 Hopefully we can beat the likely chalks 11 & 2 but I'm definitely still using them. This race could be wide open thou so I'll go deeper

Adding the 5 as they're currently betting it down to 6-1 from 12-1 ML




Race 8. The plan is to come back and hammer the pick 3 here as I strongly believe only 3 horses are live here .

Race 9. Wanted to leave out the #1 but Johnny V has killed my Pick 4's before when left off ...Maybe we get a bit of price here ???

As Mentioned above I'm on #6 CHANCER MCPATRICK...Think he'll be flying late chasing them down ...Only concern is Keeneland's stretch is on the shorter side ... I'm on this horse at 55-1 down to 30-1 on the Derby futures ...Part of me wishes he finishes 2nd or 3rd here to qualify so I can double up on him at very long odds in the Derby ....

In the pick 3 I'll be hedging with at least 2 other horses here if we're alive heading into the 2nd leg

Mostly Run lines or bets at plus money


Just started checking out the discussion thread for today ...I'll be in there everyday now lol ..

Props at this point seem like a better idea for me

A strong mixture of it all but yea I’d say last 5 years I went from 80% sides and totals to maybe 30%. So many options ppl don’t even think bout, lot of ways to attack mlb!

Think of it like stock investing. Gotta diversify that portfolio!

I don't think the long shot #8 Here Mi Song is going to win , but at the current 22-1 he might hit the bottom of the exotics ....

Sounds much smarter than the BS I've been betting ...

Stupidity has kept me betting run lines on pitcher I prefer even thou I'm like 4-15 lol ...

Meanwhile my player props bets albeit small sample size are much better

Oh rule one for me (some will disagree), I only play -1.5 maybe w dodgers this year or a game with a total above 9., this time of year scores often down and you might have the better pitcher but winning by more than 1 in games ending 4-3 is tough!! Oh and unless it a team like dodgers who just that, or Coors field, or few other parks ball known to jump once it warms up you really only want to lay -1.5 on the road. At home puts you at instant handicap, you get 3 less outs if your team up 1, if it tied you gotta have a multi score bomb to win, just not a great idea!! I remember back in day I loved taking the +1.5 parlayed w under low totals but most stopped that til
USA books came around and changed it all!

You might be sitting pretty my old buddy "Sam the horse man" loves Justique today ...Thinks she'll be stalking and pounce as the 2 and 8 and tire out late in the stretch..He's one of the better cappers I've ever met

I've buried her the last two times. She's cleary a one turn dirt horse Cherie has done that with her.

Yeah it's not warm there today. Low 40s. Feels like the fall meet. It's so hard to get a ticket on Blue Grass Saturday, today was the day to pull it off

Decided against betting the pick 3 using the 1,3,4 in the Blue Grass ...The current plan is to use those on top of Chancer McPatrick in Trifectas if alive in the final leg of the pick 4

Currently watching my Neighbors open their pool right now bc they're amped about the forecast of 50's next week ( slightly heated pool helps 🤣)

Yeah I didn't understand that....Was reading De Rosa yesterday believe his true line was 8-1/7-1 ...

Not sure if I should hammer CHANCER MCPATRICK here Win/Place to get into the Derby ...or I might already have too much pending on the futures .....FACK LOL
 
You can put an X through that field in the Derby. They got no shot. That was a stagger fest and Burnham Square barely got up

He's 4-1 right now. He has to be 2-1 or 5/2 on Derby day. But idk. He's used to running in 5 and 6 horse fields. 19 other horses is different. Hell he had a rough trip in the SA Derby with 4 other horses.

He's the deserved favorite but definitely not worth 2-1 on Derby day.

To me Sandman is the same. He finally got a good trip in the Ark Derby because the field got so spread out with that hot pace, that it was impossible to not get a good trip.
 
Man I don’t understand this thread and it bums me out. I used to go to the race track in Illinios few times a year for party at park. I would wonder around talking to the cats selling the cheat sheets til I found one who seemed like a winner, almong w couple others for little reference. I would do mostly exacta and trifecta boxes for the 10 races. Sometimes I hit a nice one and we go kick it on East side! Sometimes I drop most the money I brought and go home. It was always fun but I never got into understanding the ponies, obviously I bet the triple crown like all the other putz’es donating most years but I get lost wit all the tracks and who running where, Is it worth it? You turn profit?

No it's not worth it ..The drugs they give these horses and the cheating that goes on wrecked the sport of Kings imo ...Or at least made it extremely more difficult to turn a profit on a monthly/yearly basis ....

That being said it's really my dirty little donation hobby at this point ...I've scaled way back over the last 15+ years , used to be almost a daily thing, especially when a fantastic OTB with a bar/great food was on my way home from work ...
Our local track Buffalo Raceway can be extremely profitable if you're willing to grease a few egos and palms ...The OTB in South Buffalo is home to a few trainers/owners in the afternoon of race days ...If you're lucky they'll drop the jewels on a possible fix or at the very least how their horses look heading into the race ...One of the them with the initials TA has told us several times " Wheel my horses tonight in 3rd and 4th of the supers with the chalk 2nd and a the all button 1st ". while those tips don't always hit I've cashed for some monster payouts over the years ....

If I just had the discipline to stick with Woodbine Mohawk Pick 5's ( April -August ), Saratoga and the first 2 legs of triple crown I would have been profitable in 11 of the last 14 years ..... Unfortunately the other NY tracks and Santa Anita are my kryptonite

I couldn’t possibly do it. I really wanted to work in soccer, when it was 1st thing back from pendemic it got me, but all the fucjing leagues and never knowing what the fucj going on I ain’t got time for more than baseball! I’d need a fucjing staff!! I fucking love WC, euro cup, the America’s one. Only sport where it has to be countries competing. I’m Jack for WC! Wish I could follow the million leagues or even understand how they decide who wins those things! Think I could make money at that but I barely finish mlb!

I was looking at Baeza, but unfortunately yesterday's results probably knocked him out of getting in.

Publisher, even though he's still a maiden and maybe Final Gambit, who's never run on dirt, I could see blowing up the tire board.

Rodriguez could get brave on the front end if East Avenue doesn't run back.

Honestly Luxor Cafe looks better every prep race that passes. Those horses in the UAE Derby couldn't get close to him in Japan and were too good for rest in Dubai.
