I watched that TB game yesterday, among others, and there were maybe 6-7 players who crushed the ball only to have them die in the outfield before they even reached the warning track. The players all had faces of amazement that the ball didn't leave the yard. Now the announcers didn't mention any wind blowing in from the outfield so I have to conclude that TB home games this year which will all be played in Steinbrenner stadium (Hurricane bashed in the roof of their usual home field) are going to be unders. Something to think about.
Today we have the 3rd pitchers in the rotation for the teams starting. I don't have many stats yet on these guys but if their managers placed them 3rd in line then they aren't as good as the first two which means more runs should be scored against them. That tells me all I need to know about these guys. Same goes tomm when the 4th starters come up. The totals are a little higher today so the books are aware as well, but I thought I would point it out when it comes to these over small totals parlays.
By the way, if it seems like I am giving away all my thoughts and secrets, I am. The wife is retired now, and she has planned a ton of trips for us to take in the next few months so I am kind of teaching you what to look for in these bets because there will be times I won't be posting because she has me in Toronto, Montreal, Philadelphia, Nashville, Michigan, Maine, Providence, and Las Vegas and that's just what she has planned in the next few months not to mention damn near spending the whole summer at the cabin in the mountains north of Montreal when we aren't going somewhere else down here. So, if I'm not around don't blame me blame her.
Parlay:
MLW/NYY over 3 1/2 -1600
Minn/StL over 3 1/2 -1200
Balt/Tor over 3 1/2 -2000
Phil/Wash over 3 1/2 -2000
SF/Cinn over 3 1/2 -1600
Bost/Tex over 3 1/2 -2500
Atl/SD over 3 1/2 -1400
