Week 2 ML Dogs

I've never believed football players or coaches think like we do or think like we think they think. To a man, those UTSA players can't wait to go and try and beat Texas. It's the mentality of wanting to prove yourself and compete with the best and playing games to win them. You want me to believe that UTSA players and coaches in the offseason just chalk up the Texas game as a loss? No way.
Maybe. But I sure don't see them overlooking this one. Big conference teams...it's a no-brainer sandwich situation and a perfect fade. Can't do it with a team like UTSA that needs every victory.

They do need it. I believe the players likely feel they need it to off the loss.

Just kind of a tough game. I feel either team has equal shot at winning, although like I said before, if Harris is at his best, Army will have trouble with the UTSA receivers and UTSA is better suited defensively vs Army than they have been the two previous meetings. So I get the favorite spot for UTSA, just a tough game for me to envision.

As for the potential of a Navy bounceback, last week they outgained Delaware 319-202, but lost 3 fumbles to Delaware's 1. Navy fumbled on the very first play of the game leading to a quick Delaware 7-0 lead. The Navy D played really well actually, but their O continues to struggle. They are so reliant on a really good QB to run their option and make plays and unfortunately they have average/below average QBs on their current roster.

If they anything like me (most ppl not, maybe why I hate this situational shit) they don’t even know who they playing after this. I would be worried bout who I’m playing this week, who I’m fuckin during the week, and where the best parties at! There just no way in hell I’d spend any energy thinking about something or who I’m playing 2 weeks away, who knows what will even happen by then! Do most ppl worry bout shit in advance like that? I still don’t! I’m often surprised when something I shoulda known about creeps up on me and I finally realize it! Lol

They know their schedule. I know the Cards and Clones schedules. Players know.

Plenty of former coaches, players snd every now and then current players talk about circled games. They definitely know who's on the schedule in terms of games that matter. They might not know what conference those noncon teams are in or where those schools are located but by and large they know the important games on the schedule.

to live in the SEC you have to gear to beat Bama or Jorja
its a scalp on the wall whether your season is sht or you're on the cusp.

Baylor over BYU - but don't like the fact game is at night

FWIW Just listened to "Bet the Board" podcast - they make 1 selection a week. 0-1 after week #1.

Baylor +4 was this week's pick. I took them +4 and +150 earlier this week

Still concerned about late kick off, circadian rhythms thing
BYU's top 2 receivers are now out. Game currently off the board with my guy

Looks like a rough week for the FCS vs FBS upsets. There were only two last week. A few short lines, but I think initially I'd pick the FBS team in all those.

Maybe Holy Cross over Buffalo.
Yeah I really like HC +9
Also digging deeper on SFA possibly incarnate word, maybe FIU possibly only 1H?,

What the digging showing on SFA? I can kind of give them a pass vs Jacksonville St week 0, they had nice lead that they blew, but Jax St pretty good. Not sure I want to cut them slack for the closer than expected call at Alcorn. I get it though, SFA was supposed to be pretty good, wonder what is going on?

How much you puttin down on Ga State +7?
Hurt me last week, I made all the wrong moves betting wise and unlucky as well with bad breaks but I’m coming right back with GA St.
last week took Ga St 1H ml and nothing with 1H pts, took 10.5 and ml fg at halftime pretty big blowing my day long winnings from cfb (mainly live) and from ponies

Baylor for awhile has been the easiest for me to cap. Home Baylor wins and covers, road Baylor does not. Not sure your thinking but I'm already big on BYU -3 and their ML will be keyed in several parlays.
Slight lean Baylor but at moment stronger on 1H and FG unders

Multi tasking but will respond with SFA thoughts
Speaking of Alcorn I’m considering 1H plus pts with them

Alcorn at 20.5 or are you hoping it bumps over 3 TDs?

I am in my infancy with FBS football, but I have been playing some. Per usual, I like looking at the bigger dog upsets, Campbell might be one. William and Mary did dominate Charlotte with impressive play and stat lines. Campbell likely better than what Charlotte is fielding currently. Sounds like Campbell is a team on the uptick maybe. Could find W&M a little distracted after beating an FBS team on the road and coming back home with everyone talking about it. Campbell is in the +370 range, will have to see where it lands when it becomes more widely available.

As strange as it might sound, after believing South Dakota State could beat Iowa last week, this week I might throw a little ML against them on UC Davis. Did have a miss on Davis at Cal, but didn't feel they were outclassed in that one. They had some 4th downs fail, if they could've made more of their opportunities they were capable of being in that game. A fade on South Dakota St at this point is off the very physical nature of the Iowa loss. SD State is openingly talking national title, which that is a legit goal. Game was 56-24 in the playoffs last year. Don't assume it will be that easy this time. It's in the +625 neighborhood and would be a very big upset.

This might turn out to be the mother of all gambling days!! Whoop! Whoop!

I've cooled on Pitt & UVA but not the other eight....played a 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8-teamer RR with the following:

Cats +185
FIU +390
USA +190
Holy Cross +320
Vandy +370
Stanford +255
Kansas +410
Eastern Ky. +275

Risked $94 ($1 per Parlay) to Win $195,776. 29

:watchingsports:

YOLO Folks! YOLO!

Adding a couple 2 & 3-teamer RRs:

Vandy +370
USA +190
Eastern Ky. +275
Risked $20 ($5 per Parlay) to Win $446.21

Vandy +370
FIU +390
Kansas +410
Risked $20 ($5 per Parlay) to Win $927.21

BOLTA!

:cheerleader:

First one on my list was Ville and of course I didn’t play em haha
Got lucky af
Initial lean lville and over
Pregame bet over, never had chance
Caught ville pts and ml when trailing for nice hit on game

Starting to understand why most that are profitable these days only dabble pre game
Lives and halves do seem more profitable on our side of the counter

Like ur first 3

I’m prob not playing uk cause they seem to be running low on running backs plus their oline scares me. Just think the hype on gators is out of control, the neat tricks Napier did to hide his qb’s deficiencies I’d imagine stoops took notice and will take those things away and force him to play left handed as they say. Under might be better in the swamp, just think ya be nuts to play gators at this inflated price.

Gators visually impressive last week vs a solid Utah team fwiw now KY minus backs

Yea but Utah always slips early and I’m telling ya gators used tricks to hide what the qb can’t do, stoops won’t let him get away with that. Huge disadvantage that gators had to play that game and show uk that stuff!! Uk gonna have huge element of surprise as they showed nothing last week. I think Levis gonna throw and run a lot.

I like bc and baylor, think unlv could win, uk has grown On me but wish they had some rb’s!
LOL....remember the name LaVell Wright. I've read a lot this past week about our "lack" of running game with CRod n/a....don't get me wrong as CRod is our best but one position my Cats are very deep at this year is RB. Last week's weak rushing numbers were due to more about our OLine missing their blocking assignments and the play-calling scheme our OC went with. The OLine has been tweaked this week in practice and will perform better tonight. The scheme last week was meant to get some reps for our new WRs...we did the same thing last year then went heavy on the rush the following week. Look for more of an effort to running the ball down the FL DLine's throat tonight. ;)

I think ya’ll might just unleash Levis and let him throw and run all over them! Backs a dime a dozen, honestly I’m more worried bout ya’ll lineman, they didn’t look very good last week!

I think uk is absolutely the right side tho. I think ppl losing site of how gators had to show everything to win that game. Richardson didn’t attempt one pasx to the left side of the field!! You really think uk d is gonna let him beat them throwing to 1 side and running? I don’t

Pitt lost 2 most important O pieces from year ago
Other than LSU did any SEC team not dominate scoreboard last week?

If you think Pickett really any better than Slovis, I don’t. Pitt is better at the Los on both sides the ball, that what I value. Lay road chalk against a realky good team if you want

For those who doubt my Cats running backs please watch this....this is an example of what happened last week. It may interest you to know the OLineman in this video was demoted to 2nd string and lost his starting job this past week because of plays like this......Cats will win tonight!

I love your side just on principle bro. Ppl betting Richardson to win heisman and he has huge weaknesses that were masked last week!

I don’t love pitt either cause I have always liked hooker. I’m prob staying off that game but I think it crazy vols laying -6

Best early bets 1H Ga St +4, under 1H Bama game and ND game and 1H over wake vandy , the u laying wood 1H too, 1H S Car +5.5

Hitting casino before noon focusing on those immediately

They'll be at their best tonight...no worries. BOL in what you decide!

@JROCK1966 #74 that missed that block, he's a rFr playing in his second ever game? Why was he in that early in the game anyway? Did he appear or perform better in fall camp than someone else? Not sure who started the game or if they just rotated him in. You say he's been demoted to second string, that implies he started the game then. Live games better than practice, but coaches must've like him enough to start, or they didn't like the other guy(s)

He “won” a starting job in fall camp but I guess freaked out a bit too much during his first live action for the coaches liking…so yes they moved Wohlabaugh #74 to 2nd team RG this week on the depth chart. They moved Horsey to starting LT…now this move does have some detractors among the wildcat faithful as Horsey was thrust into starting LT vs Iowa in our bg last January and he did not do well. But evidently the coaches still feel like this was our best option and they gave Horsey all the reps at LT in practice this past week and Horsey said, as he was interviewed, theat he is much more comfortable and ready this time around than last Jan. We also have a 5 star true freshman recruit that most fans wanted to see but the coaches said they don’t want to thrust him into action in the swamp for fear it may hurt his confidence…whatever…what I do know is Stoops teams always perform their best during game 2 of the season. Normally it has come after an ATS loss during week 1. This time we covered ATS week 1 so I think this boads well for us… I.e. we are undervalued going into todays game.

The UK RB is still out right?
