Week 12 Discussion Thread

Do tell. Just a crowded boat? I haven’t seen the numbers at all.

Don’t mind him twinkster, he 3 iq points from retarded. Like Tulane was gonna lose cause we all liked the better team! I didn’t know it was so fucking windy, that plus navy not doing shit limited the passing I needed for Williams prop.

Yea man at -3 it’s tempting

Just hard to gauge. FLA schedule is so tough, they gotta have this one circled
Huge rivalry. They got an o/u on penalties or turnovers?

I’m so done with that fucking coach. I stuck up for him even after he let that poor kid get killed filming practice on 90 foot high scaffolding or whatever it was in gale force winds! still stuck by my story he was a damn good coach and once he got to a nfl factory he be winning ships but they ain’t done Jack since Brian Kelly got there. At the moment to me his legacy other than being a douche bag is smart coaches pimp him like a 2 dollar whore when it comes to halftime adjustments. Even Ed O won a ship at lsu! This mfer ain’t holding up his end the deal, the natives gotta be getting restless!

I’m considering UVA +22.5 (waiting to potentially get more points).

Rationale is that ND is likely playoff bound and we’re late enough in the season where they’re likely just trying to secure a win. They also have an undefeated Army team on deck. Meanwhile, the Cavs have some mojo, coming off a road win at Pitt and are sitting at 5 wins, on the cusp of bowl eligibility. I’d expect them to play inspired.

Getting this many points either could be a winning ticket from a straight up close-ish game but the backdoor could easily open late in the game as well.

My thesis couldn’t have been more wrong about ND laying off the gas. Up 4 TDs late in the 4th, all starters were in and they went for it thrice on 4th down (and converted 2/3 but passed up a FG attempt early in the 4th quarter). And then shanked a FG late in the 4th and UVA scored the backdoor spread-covering TD with 0:18 left in the game to cap 14 unanswered after being down 35-0 to cover the spread.

Condolences to ND backers. I tend to remember horrible losses better than lucky ass wins like this. After seeing UVA outscore Clemson 21-10 in the 4th quarter to backdoor that spread, I felt like it was a viable Plan B but certainly not how I thought the game would go.

Looks like books are respecting Kansas again this week with another fishy line. I mentioned them last week against a 7-1 team as a short dog and same thing this week against undefeated BYU at +3 on the road. In this spot teams should be at least +10 at minimum.
Kansas does it again with a fishy line

Kansas does it again with a fishy line

I been trying to tell ya’ll ku is one the best teams in big12 disguised as a 4-6 team, they have lead in practically every game going into the 4th and thst was with Daniels playing like crap the 1st month or so. This a tough one, imo these the best 2 teams in big12 right now. I dunno who wins, I don’t think line fishy at all if you have really watched ku, beating byu was actually one their worst games, I think the field had a lot to do w the offense struggling, Forget a side here, 59 a joke, both these teams scoring 30+, assuming good weather this a fireworks show that gets well into 70s imo.
