Week 1 in the FCS

Another 5-1 on Saturday…why am I wasting my time (and money) on FBS???

Looking forward to another great week of discussion, fun stuff!

What I have rediscovered and something I lost my way with in the last few years is betting favorites. In FBS I was all about finding the dogs with value and dogs that could win and I became uncomfortable laying points to the extent I almost exclusively bet dogs. Now I can try for good numbers on the favorites I like. Every decent sized wager I won Saturday was a large favorite and I lost most dogs - I almost never played large FBS favorites. So it's like I've gotten out of a rut now that I had been stuck in. I do think, at least for me, that upsets are the lifeblood of college football and my passion - that is lacking, or was the first week in FCS. Hopefully I can still find and play on those type situations as the season goes on.

fade mode? UTEP is a botched last minute drive from being 2-0 and no one can pass against them. how is NW going to fair this week, did you see that offense? they cannot protect, and had 5 first downs before garbage time.
