Under in Memphis pretty obvious. Unless one thinks that Lakers going to win by 15+ points here.
Both teams should score in the low 90 points.
94 - 91 or something like that...

Miami falls under BC's trend today and on Friday against the Pistons:
1st Game Back - Eastern teams
vs Conf teams as a Fav ..............................<wbr>... 32-41

2nd game Back - Eastern teams
@Home vs Conf teams as a Fav ..................... 15-27-2

Suns and Under should be good bets in the next few games:
"I know these practices are a lot longer than they are accustomed to, but we've got a lot to get accomplished," Hunter said. "Like I told them, I don't watch the clock. I just watch what they do, and we have to work until we can't forget what we're supposed to do, not until we get it. We have to work until we can't forget it."
The emphasis on defense may help the Suns since they give up an average of 104.1 points on 40.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc while going 3-17 on the road.
"I'm a defensive guy," Hunter said. "That's the identity that we're going to try to create, is being a tough, nasty, defensive-minded team, and we'll go from there."

Bennett Salvatore helps the raptors case a ton. One of the most crooked refs. Calls games very tight with lots of off ball screen fouls. Supposedly was involved with fixing games back in the day. Shocker.

Some interest in the Lakers

They hit Toronto on a Sunday Morning
They hit Chicago after after a home loss to Memphis
Timing of the visits could not have been worse
Here they hit Memphis after a home loss But this will be the 15th game for Memphis without 2 days off and Memphis bench strength has been reduced
Conley last game had 2 assits and 3 turnovers while Randolph went 5-14 with 7 rebounds. This Memphis team has been trending down steadily and will be operating with 12 tired staters and 1 new 10 day starter.
In their last 8 home games Memphis is 4-4 SU and 3-5 ATS hitting a team with more talent in almost all positions that has had 2 days off twice in their last 11 games
Memphis has 6 wins in their last 10 games
2 wins vs Kings
1 win vs Suns
1 vs GS where they just match up well
1 vs Chicago after Chicago was on a THREE game win streak
And 1 at home vs Spurs where they won despite playing very goofy.

Chicago this year playing at home after a home win is 1-6 SU that include the spectacular loss to Bobcats. Detroit is looking at a team that has beaten them 16 in a row. The next team Chicago faces is GS who has beaten them last 2 meetings. Need to look more but real interest in Detroit.
Sick puppy Atlanta has 2 revenge games twice in a row after the Bobcats. . Considering how many games there are tentatively putting that one on hold.

Portland has lost 6 in a row. After the Indiana game they have 2 games in a row with the Clippers. Really need to look at this game
First thoughts
Refs seem odd but with a real bias for the home team
Indiana on a 2 game ATS win streak. They have won 3 ATS in a row twice but never 4. Next game is at Utah. Half unit bet on Portland ATS intending to double up if it loses at Utah game seems to make sense. Indiana last 20 on the road has gone 9-11 with no covers in any road game they did not win at and through 2008 has gone 3-6 vs Utah. Last 20 vs Portland they are 12-8 su. Not sure how this adds up. Indiana only 2 games ahead of Chicago for division. If Detoit does beat Chicago it would strengthen the proposed bet a little. Not sure about this situation at all.

Took Portland, Suns, Under in Sacramento, Under in Memphis, Wizards of course and the Raptors.
Portland lost 6 in a row, all of them by 6 points or less. They won't lose fifth straight home game I believe.

Wizards just need to keep covering, but stop winning and the money making will continue. Utah should be Lakers focused.

Memphis traded any shred of offense they got left. Won't bet the Lakers, but will be against Memphis offense.

Suns with new coach -defensive one - always will check new coach angle, time after time.

Locked in on:

under Chicago 183 @ -105
over Memphis 188 @ -105

Memphis has played 6 straight unders and welcomes in lakers tonite. Recent meetings between two have gone over the total. As tuck has mentioned, Memphis recent opponents weren't that strong ( not saying lakers are strong) but if lakers want to bust out of this losing funk, they'd better get some offense going. Not smart to be on over on games in Memphis but ill take my chances, both team in high 90's with Memphis maybe breaking 100.

4units each and have over in GS tied in as 3teamer for 4units. Hoping for hedging opportunity if these two come in. Have faired well recently playing games as such.

will likely be on under sac for 3units also.

GL on yer plays!

[h=4]Charles Rex Arbogast, Marcio Jose Sanchez /AP[/h] [h=4] The Nets didn't end up with Dwight Howard this offseason... and they're fine with that.
[/h]

The Nets are backing Brook Lopez while doubting that Dwight Howard will ever become available, even as the Lakers crumble and Howard’s camp pines for Brooklyn.

According to multiple team sources, the Nets have not engaged in trade talks for Howard and remain skeptical the Lakers will deal their center by next month’s deadline. They’ve also talked privately with Lopez about the circumstances, reassuring him that he’s not involved in any trade proposals after he signed a four-year, $61 million deal.

Still, the acrimony in Los Angeles between Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard — as well as the center’s reported discontent with Mike D’Antoni’s system — continues to fuel speculation that the Lakers will trade Howard instead of losing him for nothing this summer in free agency. The Orange County Register reported Tuesday that Howard has joked about Bryant’s shot selection behind his back, “making teammates uncomfortable.” A league source told the Daily News that Howard and Bryant had a heated exchange after a game on New Year’s Day, during which Bryant called his teammate “soft.”

Brooklyn has always been Howard’s preferred destination, but a team source shot down an Internet report from Tuesday claiming the Nets were pursuing a three-team deal that would land Howard and ship Lopez to Minnesota.

It’s unclear if the Nets contacted Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak about Howard, but other teams were told the three-time Defensive Player of the Year is unavailable. The feeling is the Lakers (17-24), who appear on their way to missing the playoffs for the first time since 2005, will wait it out and sell Howard on being the centerpiece of their future.

“The Lakers will call Howard’s bluff,” said a league executive. “And then he’ll re-sign.”

The Nets won’t have the cap space to sign Howard in free agency, so they’ll need a trade to own his Bird Rights and fit his contract into a cap exception. Dallas and Atlanta are among the teams that are likely to have enough space to sign Howard as a free agent, threatening the Lakers’ plans.

Even if the Lakers move away from their stance before the Feb. 21 deadline, Howard’s regression on the court, balky back and continuous displays of immaturity make him less appealing than when the Nets were chasing him last year. Furthermore, Lopez has developed into an All-Star candidate and one of the top centers in the NBA, shedding, at least for now, a reputation for being soft and injury-prone.

Lopez’s greatest progress is on defense, where he has become more aggressive. Just two seasons ago, former Nets coach Avery Johnson likened Lopez’s defense to “tissue paper.” In the last two games for the Nets the center recorded key blocks down the stretch of close victories over the Hawks and Knicks.

“He was huge for us,” Deron Williams said. “Key blocks for us in the fourth quarter, in crunch time. He’s been there for us all season. A big reason why we’re winning games is because of his defensive effort.”

Unlike Howard, Lopez isn’t a liability late in games because he can consistently hit free throws. Howard is shooting 50% from the foul line, not to mention he has torn apart locker rooms in consecutive seasons.

“It’s not the same as it was last year,” said a Nets source. “We don’t need Dwight.”

The Nets (25-16) are 11-2 since P.J. Carlesimo took over as coach

I think I like every single one of them except hesitant on Detroit

So far on:
GS: we're healthy and horrible rest spot for OKC off a big win
Denver
Lakers: think the trade kills the already short bench
Suns/Sac UNDER- big rest for Phoenix IMO brings rusty offense plus all that practice was prob on defense

Added NOLA
no Duncan or kawhi
thinking NOLA treats these matchups as a big brother matchup, they've covered all three matchups this year. Just think NOLA been playing too good and are getting too many points vs Duncan less Spurs

Never had time to look at it. Added GS plus .5 first half. Not a system bet. GS has won their last 3 first halfs. OKC off a big game and playing with little rest. Think I have listed the numbers previously. GS Not Suns.

Charlotte 2nd H

Atlanta staying in this with solid 3 point shooting, but their lineup is crap. Deshawn already with 17 minutes in his first game back. Horford, Lou will, devin Harris, and Zaza all out. needa get used to this lineup

The amount of bobcats love and all the missing hawks kept me off the bobcats. Hope they comeback for you guys.

@WojYahooNBA: Dwight Howard asked D'Antoni to take him out of the game, pointing to his right shoulder. Lakers down, 54-45. Howard: 0-for-4, two boards

Can you say whiney bitch?

how the fuck are they scoring so much in that game. under 188 is toast
a) the Lakers are dictating the pace, b) the Lakers play no defense, and c) the Grizzlies have good offensive pieces like Yag, Allen, Gasol and Arthur - they just don't get to show it when they play at such a slow pace like they usually do.

nba i saw what u said on twitter ubt i gotta disagree. no chance in hell d'antoni gets fired. dwight could go tho

nba i saw what u said on twitter ubt i gotta disagree. no chance in hell d'antoni gets fired. dwight could go tho

lol both are cancers, pick your poison

the ONLY thing that D'antoni has on his resume is success with a team that was BUILT for his philosophy.... so that leads me to believe he blows as a coach

hedging my 3teamer, taking under in GS 207.5 for 10units. Guaranteed money baby!
:badass:

The wiz are about to come back from a huge deficit. The jazz aren't exactly the type of team to persevere in this type of situation

Mna GS looks like they pack the house pretty well....I know OKC there tonight but wow

they have a good/loyal fanbase? I feel like they never get talked about

Id like to thank the NBA forum guys in here day in and day out.

I equate it to reading a racing forum but better. I help when I can, but the knowledge in here is vastly superior to mine in baskets

I appreciate what you all do. Tuck, Divol. Raems, BAR, BC and EVERYONE

Good solid info everyday:shake:
