:tiphat:Hello all can't wait for the regular season to start up! As promised, I will be using this thread to give our members here at CTG insight into the latest Nationals news. Since we are in spring training at the moment, and positions are being worked out during this month, I will include, who the probable players will be at each position, injury info., trade news, etc. I won't be using the thread for my picks. I also will not give advice on whether you should wager on the Nats on any given day.
I will include the opening line each day, starting pitcher, as well as their overall record at that point. Each week I will be more comprehensive with numbers. Ex: Record for the week, against east, central, west, LHP, RHP, night, day, home, away, and record over the last 10 games.
It is my hope that this info. will allow our members to glance at the thread and use it as a tool for each members own handicapping data, when taking into account their own assessment of potential selections for any given day.
It is my hope to post my first Nats. info. on Monday. Terpman92:cheers:

I just wanted to check in with an update on this spring training record. To date: Nats W-11-L-11-T-2. Something tells me there are money making opptys. with this type of a team!

I saw the Nationals play 2 games while I was at Spring Training...they've got some players taking some REAL bad at bats (one is Bret Boone though who got demoted)...Milledge has some pretty nice ST stats, but man, he really lunged at some balls like he had no idea what he was doing. Felipe Lopez looked atrocious. I couldn't get over how fat Dmitri Young was...Nick Johnson looked like the old Nick Johnson, so I think its time for Dmitris fat ass to get some blisters in it...

Had a nice conversation with John Patterson and was disappointed to see him get cut, but I wasn't that surprised-he didn't seem to really be meshing with the team. Part of that was because he had an extra rehab session, but looking back on it now, I guess it was a bit off.

Tim Redding actually threw pretty well when I was watching him...but the rotation is a huge concern. Luis Ayala seemed to have pretty nice pop on his ball in his attempt to return from injury.

GOod info in here Terps. i just got off my ass and posted some stuff on their neighbors 30 miles to the north. Less than a week before first pitch. Let's play some ball.

Good info bro...Perez opening day starter? YIKES!

When you get some time, can you give us some info on the stadium? Prevailing winds, etc...Everything a totals player needs to know.

Much appreciated bro

The manager said the reason Perez was selected was because of the fact that he was the only pitcher who had achieved 15 wins in his career and he had a good spring training!

Sorry guys! Coming in just before game time with this info. Thought it might help some.
