that looked like a weak game from Maka. Considering she gave it her all to stave off those set pts & hold the previous game, can't be a surprise she followed with a bit of a flat effort.
She actually has less UE than Mlad, but Mlad's came early whereas Maka's came late.
The number that tells the real story, is Maka winning only 57% of her 1st serves, which goes a long way to explaining her losing a set to an opponent winning only 35% of her own 2nd serves. Still, tiebreaks are lotteries in the WTA. That missed smash at 1-0 pretty much decided it.
interesting - Mlad took a few mph off her 1st serve after her 2nd serve troubles, and it worked - now this service game it's gone back up a few mph and its failing again
