Ultimate Fighter 8

i dont understand why the line is so big either.....

i figured Efrain can catch him all the same, and he;s freakin undefeated, so why the fuck not, right?

good round for our underdog guy--

pummelled him good, just needed to get a little more to finish him, this mofo is tough as fuck here, he is throwing Nover all over the ring--

He wins the excahnges, takes him down, just has to be carefull of a submisison--

How many rounds is this?

Yes I think this is only 3 ruonds this fight--

Our guy looks to be up 2 rounds--

Fuck Junie shut up , wrestelrs is what MMA is all about

This kid Effrain is one tough motherfucker--

Come on Kid close this match out buddy--

good coaching, keep him on the ground and lay and pray and win the decision

YESSSSSSSSSSSS we shou,ld win this one I think--

2 round to 1 or will they call it a TIE or a 10-8 bullshit--

NOVER did nothing, that submisison was bullshit it looked good but was fuckall I mean he did nothign all match--

Effrain should win this one pretty easily and good I think

gonna be a 10-8 rd watch

FOr what are u kidding me??????

How the fuck can it be 10-8--

He did nothing, but hit him like a million times in the head, and that submission was garbage, it did not work , it was nothing there--

so i mean how can they give a 10-8 round there to tie it up--

THey will fuck us I think, some kind of garbage bullshit I feel it--

NOVER is too much of a big game, he did nothing, I mean 10-8 in a round where all he had was a submission for 2 minutes that went nowhere?

i think judges gonna give him a 10-8 rd so we go 1 more watch

IS that what happens, they go to OVERTIME?

Effrain won taht shit, that NOVER guy did nothing round 1 and round 2--

ROund 3 was not a 10-8 no FUCKING WAY-- He was crap, had him on teh ground but could not submit, did not ever come close to winning in the 3rd-

Dont fuck ass Efrain won that fight, get out of here NOVER--

Bullshit if they fuck us here-- Effrain won fair and square

MOGO i owe u brother--

I hit VADER and EFFRAIN-- you called it, lines should be pickem for all these fights, and you knew it bro-

our fighters dominated--

did u notice as I SAID how nervuos the NOVER GUY was walkign to the ring, the Vinny guy also was nervous, our guys were relaxed, you could see it--- relaxed and just pummeled them--

Underdogs have the advantage, I mean no one is proven, so take the underdogs, they are better, anyone can win_-

GOod stuff MOGO

3 in a row for us MOGOG--

Jason MCdonald cost us a perfect nightbro--

that motherfucker got smoked, but we rebound with 3 in a row

Efrain is no joke the dude is undefeated for a reason

when do u get an undfeated guy at +300 lol vs a novice fighter called the next GSP, lol I love it, NOVer was not even in his league eh--

Effrain was the better fight, I would ahve thought that NOVER is +300 if I didnt know who was who

Norver and Vinny had alot of hype surronding them.

alot of hype :shake:

both are damn good just not mentally. They will be back and win though

Dana White hyped up Norver alot. Dude is good but he beat nobody in the house. Roop was a joke lol

I never watched any fighter fight, this was my first time, but I was confident when my fighters walked to the ring, they looked tough as hell- when they said Vader played football I knew he would win vs the pretty boy- he hit him so hard, kind of like a clothes line, didnt look like he connected but the Vinny guy was soft--

The Effrain guy looked like GSP, he just looked like a champ to me-
other guy NOVER had too much pressure, you could see it bro

Can this Anthony Johnson beat GSP? maybe with some expereince, he looks like an athlete with kicks to go and crazy speed and power-- he will be one that can match GSP athleticics, but I am sure is short on technique and ring savy and smarts

Throw do the Raiders have any shot at winning outright or is PATS Moneyline pretty safe bet?

yeah I think so. Its all on the offense if they can score or not.

things I dont like

raiders 0-2 when the opposing qb plays after losing there father (Favre and Trent Green)

2. raiders defense struggles vs screens and fast, shifty slot wr's (Welker)

3. line went down from 8.5 to 6.5

4. raiders have seemed to play better on the road than at home sometimes this year. (thats crazy)

5. How bad is Russell's ankle.

The thing I like the most is LT- Kwame Harris is benched ( 12 games to late lol)

2nd year LT Mario Henderson has dominated when he played and started this year yet the coaches never give him a chance. Maybe cuz he dont practice well or look good on film.

Everytime I seen him in the game he has looked damn good.

also not only is LT- Kwame Harris the worst o-linemen in the nfl how the fuck was he starting ?

raiders still have problems at C and RT and WR's

McFadden getting back to 100%

I watch the whole season one of my fave reality shows and one of the best.

these fight nights are easy money if you watch the whole season.

made a grip when The Spider was in the house.

TUF 8 Finale salaries: Gouveia top earner, cast winners earn $16K

Despite losing 20 percent of his purse after failing to make the middleweight division's 186-pound limit, Wilson Gouveia was the top earner at "The Ultimate Fighter 8" finale.

The evening's salary figures were released overnight by the Nevada State Athletic Commission to Sherdog.com.

The total payroll for the event, which took place at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, was $289,000.

Gouveia earned $36,800 in his first-round win over Jason MacDonald. The total included a purse penalty of $9,200. MacDonald took home $35,200 after the payout from his opponent.

The evening's 16 participating cast members earned base salaries of $8,000. Winners of the eight bouts between TUF 8 participants also earned an $8,000 bonus. Season champions Efrain Escudero and Ryan Bader also earned coveted "six-figure contracts" with the UFC.

The full paydays from The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale included:

Efrain Escudero: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus) def. Phillipe Nover: $8,000

Ryan Bader: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus) def. Vinny Magalhaes: $8,000

Wilson Gouveia: $36,800 (includes $18,400 win bonus) def. Jason MacDonald: $35,200 (includes $9,200 of Gouveia's purse)

Anthony Johnson: $18,000 (includes $9,000 win bonus) def. Kevin Burns: $7,000

Junie Browning: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus) def. Dave Kaplan: $8,000

Krzysztof Soszynski: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus) def. Shane Primm: $8,000

Eliot Marshall: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus) def. Jules Bruchez: $8,000

Shane Nelson: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus) def. George Roop: $8,000

Tom Lawlor: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus) def. Kyle Kingsbury: $8,000

Roli Delgado: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus) def. John Polakowski: $8,000

As always, the figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker-room" or special bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays.

In other words, these are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not reflect entire compensation packages for the event.

They also do not include UFC "fight night" awards issued after each event. For Saturday's event, those awards amounted to $25,000 each. Anthony Johnson earned the Knockout of the Night bonus, Krzysztof Soszynski picked up the Submission of the Night award, and a lightweight bout between Junie Browning and Dave Kaplan netted each competitor a Fight of the Night bonus.
