TRADE Advice, Evaluations, Questions, & More - Year Long Fantasy Thread

matthews > bradshaw i think. colts run it 5 times per game right? luck uses both TEs so even though bradshaw is a good rec he gets very few targets. colts are not a screen team.

matthews should be a solid 2/flex rest of year with upside as a 1 in certain matchups.

not even close. matthews shares carries with oliver still, bradshaw has no one else

i guess we will see. i figured oliver was done when he came back. hes done nothing last few weeks with a full workload. bradshaw prob is better just because the offense is so much better and they stay on the field, but man the colts refuse to hand the ball off

and trent got 7 carries last week to bradshaw's 7. and they dominated the giants and had plenty of opportunities to kill clock and run the ball.

Im doing the deal for Matthews. Im stacked at WR, and I need a RB2 way more than an extra bench WR. Thanks for the opinions.

I think Gordon will be good when he returns, but he would be replacing Jeffery in my line up, and I think Jeffery will still be serviceable as my WR2.

I may have made a thread about this but have been wracking my mind over what to do.

Im want Drew Brees for the playoffs. Do yall think I can trade Russell Wilson + Denard to upgrade QB?

The guy who owns Drew has the following RBs - Gore, T. West, McKinnon, Oliver, CJ Anderson.

I think he'd be hard pressed to not think about trading for Russell & Denard for Drew + WR (Martavius Bryant, Sammy Watkins?) given his RB situation.

If I dont make a trade I should be okay, I feel like my team is pretty stacked, and no other team is starting 3 RBs + top 3 TE. But come playoff time, I'd like to have comfort in knowing my QB will put up points in nearly any situation.

My team is currently 5th place in a VERY TIGHT race. 1st place pretty much secured his playoff spot at 8-2. 2nd to 4th are 6-4, 5th to 8th are 5-5, and 9th to 11 are 4-6 in a 12 team league. The guy who owns Drew is in 7th.

PPR & IDP Keeper League (keep 3 offensive players)

QB - Russell Wilson
WR - AJ Green, Odell Beckham
RB - Matt Forte, Andre Ellington
TE - Jimmy Graham
WR/TE - Denard Robinson
K - Phil Dawson
BN - Doug Baldwin, Terrance Williams, Kyle Rudolph, Cordarelle Patterson
6 IDPs - I have 8. Quick comment on IDPs, seems dumb to hold extra, but 2 are on byes. Reliable IDP starters are key to winning the league, and cutting one is just as dumb as cutting any offensive starter.

The reason why I drafted him is because our league benefits QBs who can do the following (Russell does 2nd and 3)

1) Lots of Completions (.25 PPC) - not Russell game
2) Ability to Run (10 yards/pt) over passing (50 yards passing/pt)
3) Dont turnover the Ball (-2 for INT/FUM - default is -1 point?)

Trade advice. Standard league non ppr 10 team

my team.
Cutler,Calvin,Wallace,Murray,Ellington,Jennings,Bradshaw, J.Thomas, cooks, sims, lafell

other team
brees,maclin,Cobb,forsett, Stewart,ap,sproles,Olsen, Brady, bolden, Rainey

would you trade ellington for brady?

thoughts please and thank you!

how many RBs do you start?

I guess you'd be rolling with Murray, Bradshaw. Rashad Jennings as a backup or FLEX?

In a non ppr Id say it might be worth it but think you are limiting your RB options too much. By the time the fantasy playoffs roll around, Patriots might be content to sit Brady early in a game.

Think Id rather see if I can find streaming QB options rather than trade away Ellington.

I'd try to get Brady for less than that because he also has Brees. He can only play 1, so eventually he has to budge unless he's stubborn.

You could try, but I doubt he'd do that

is it that one sided?

Russell Wilson + Denard Robinson
for
Drew Brees + Martavius Bryant

just to give you an idea of his team... here is what it is :
QB - Brees
WR - B. Marshall, Watkins
RB - Gore, Terrance West
TE - Julius Thomas
WR/TE - Martavius Bryant
BN - McKinnon, CJ Anderson, Branden Oliver

I personally think his RB situation is a bit of a mess with a 'hot hand' situation in CLE, the possible return of AD in Minnesota + Asiata still a potential vulture to McKinnon, CJ Anderson... but come on, its the Broncos, and Branden Oliver who is cut bait at this point.

The risk I give up is being the only person starting 3 RBs because of his eligibility as a WR on yahoo. Denard continues to produce like a legit RB2 even though he doesnt benefit me much in a PPR. Plus he could be the one starting 3 RBs if things work out for him.

cool. thanks for the input.

guess the gap between Denard vs his RBs isnt as large as I think? or is the QB situation.

to be clear Russell Wilson has actually scored more this year in our league compared to Brees.

50 passing yards = 1 pt
10 rushing yards = 1 pt
Turnovers = -2

that probably explains why Wilson has more fantasy points, 500 rushing yards will do that.

yeah. but your reasoning is probably the same as why I want to trade for Brees. You know what you are getting + his fantasy playoff schedule is favorable.

Wilson is a total crap shoot, low floor/high ceiling.
