This exact situation happened in hockey once this year and it held true. Boston lost on Dec 6...When the team has at least 4 road games-1 homegame, then go back on the road for a game 2 days later: the system this year is 5-1 (Nashville Predators being the only surprise there). Only two more true situations like the BAR/BC system occur this year: Next week Jan 15th Montreal @ NY Islanders and Feb 15th Calgary @L.A

The Islander game on the 16th is at New jersey though, it almost doesnt qualify as a road game.
