Best prospect since 2003, right?

This isn't the NFL where you can do a true tank, but obviously your chances are better the worse you are.

This should be fun to track for the next 5 months until they do the lottery.

Current wins in reverse order, January 4th 2023

Detroit 10
Houston 10
Charlotte 10
San Antonio 12
Orlando 13
LA Lakers 16
Toronto 16
Chicago 16
Oklahoma City 16
Minnesota 17

I am just going to do the non-playoff teams for now.

*Orlando seems to own Chicagos pick looking at mocks (not sure of protections here)
*New Orleans seems to own the Lakers pick (same on protections)
*Utah seems to own the Minnesota pick (same on protections)

Big relief that the Lakers cannot weasel their way into this.

I cannot imagine ANYONE trades away from the first pick.

Scoot Henderson will be a nice consolation prize at #2 but this draft is all about the game-changer from France.

I actually was watching his highlights last night from the g-league game.

So sick. He is a throwback with the mid-range game and man can he finish at the hole.

This will be the best #1 and #2 duo in EONS.

Yeah he's got a little of Tony Parker in him, a little of Stevie Francis, AI, Kyrie....just a freak...but so smooth and savvy. He's also got the all important mamba mentality.

Why the fuck is Houston so bad every year? They have a lot of young talent and continually are in contention for the number 1 pick, even with Green and Jabari Smith? wtf

They’re missing a lot outside of those 2 and both of those guys years from providing value added wining basketball. They’re also tanking for this kid.

Just please don’t reward multi season tankers with a top 2 pick. Looking at you Houston and OKC.

Remember the worst franchise in the history of sports for that span was the 76ers and trust the process. And they f’d it up so badly the only piece from that was drafting an injured Embid by default who they didn’t even want. OKC and Houston deserve similar fates.

Why would they rig it for san Antonio?

Perfect 'nurture' spot, they wanna make this kid 'a face of the league'.

You can't throw him in a pressure spot like NY or Chicago, you can't put him in a shitty development spot like Detroit or Dallas.

In the Alamo he is protected from the stinging media and under a great nuturing and developing coaching staff lead by Pop.

Not to mention the French connection and the Timmay influence.

Absolutely perfect landing spot, league isn't stupid. Anywhere else probably delays or destroys his career.

They know what they are doing and have done for many, many years.

Kid is a real one and the league 'investment' has begun...

For awhile, I was practicing the off one leg 3, but more moving to the side than the floater. Very difficult shot either way.

Totally agree.
