Mentioned it elsewhere that ump was giving him high strikes and that's a huge part of his game

Most were in the zone anyway but there are umps that wouldn't give that

I was going with Bum on Sat when the game got rained out. I couldn't find much on why he pitched better against WAS other than 2dabank's opinion that WAS can't hit or my opinion that Bum was "warmed up" with an increased (≈2mph) velocity on his two main pitches.

Thanks for the extra info. Look at umps too.
