since the merger of the NBA and ABA over 30 years ago, NBA playoff teams are 0-22 in any best-of-7 series where the home team won each of the first 4 games and the team with the homecourt advantage outscored its opponent.
New Orleans outscored San Antonio, 382-378, through the first 4 games, all won by the home team.
of the 13 teams in NBA history to successfully come back from a 2 games to none deficit in a best-of-7 series, all but one of them managed to stay within 10 points in at least one of the first two games. The 1995 Houston Rockets were the only ones that didn't but won their series anyway. Tonight, San Antonio will try to become only the second team ever to do this.
I like Spurs +170 tonight
... but that is me wanting to make money when my heart gets crushed, hoping the two contradictory feelings negate each other.
I bet the SAS ML just because I hate the spurs SOOOOOOOO much that I won't feel AS bad if they actually win, and I'll still be happy if they lose even though I'll be down...

CNT, I love Manu because he is a baller. A real baller. I do get the urge to write him a hate mail about his flops every once in a while, really.
I love TD obviously, always been a fan of his silent killer image. Brilliant player, Tony is great too. The way he owned Nash for years...it's just great.
I don't think this is the end of SA Spurs even if they lose tonight, they need to rejuvenate the team but their main three players can still give a season or two, Parker is young.
wearo
yep, will be a great game, I think it's going to be a close one. And btw, I didn't bet on SA tonight, this one is a no play for me.
nah I think the line is sharp.
oooh ooookkkk I'll add a unit on the Spurs.
NOT.
Let them just win without any action for me.
GO SPURS
yup, im done with the NBA now. I cant watch any of these teams left except for the Lakers, no offense to the others :tiphat:
hop on the bandwagon with Brewer for a month :shake:
