i agree, and targeting guys like Giovino and Lodeiro who arent biggest names but are better players to be DPs is really smart

Sadly, I'm old enough to remember the downfall of the original NASL, and we're talking about a league that was big enough at one point to bring in guys like Pele, George Best, Johann Cryuff and Franz Beckenbauer.

Too much expansion too soon, too many owners that weren't 'soccer' people and jumped ship as soon as times got tough.
