I had no personal feelings positive or negative about him before this came out but I never believed he was the right guy for a job this big.Why do you hate him so much? (honest question)

Okay I hear you, I was not super keen on it as I thought they should go with someone who had HC'ing experience, but i am objectively telling you that given the circumstances at UM after JH left, he had done a pretty good job on the coaching front at least.I thought it was a terrible hire at the time.
I don't think anyones first head coaching job should be something so prestigious as Michigan unless the guy is such an outstanding coordinator that he is that much in demand. Since you brought up Cristobal he was not a good hire and that team wins despite him being an idiot.Okay I hear you, I was not super keen on it as I thought they should go with someone who had HC'ing experience, but i am objectively telling you that given the circumstances at UM after JH left, he had done a pretty good job on the coaching front at least.
Just look at their roster and schedule the last two seasons and I believe he had the team performing at or higher than realistic expectations.
the data does not lie.
BTW there are a ton of ppl in the know who think Cristobal was a terrible hire at Oregon and Miami, also.
Tuscaloosa ain't that bad. It's not where I would choose to live, but I have plenty of friends there who love itroughly 114,000 people hate living in Tuscaloosa, which happens to be the approximate population of the city.
I am just joking around, I liked the state the times I have been there.Tuscaloosa ain't that bad. It's not where I would choose to live, but I have plenty of friends there who love it
There's a lot of stereotypes about the state that are not true, though some of them are. I've lived in the state for 41 of my 44 years, so I'm partial to it. I've lived in both north Alabama and on the coast and parts in between. It's a good placeI am just joking around, I liked the state the times I have been there.
Huntsville was my favorite part as a kid, one of my favorite family memories. Other than driving through that I-10 sliver through Mobile on the drives from NOLA to Panama City that's all I remember and I know we went to Birmingham. Before I could appreciate the history. Buddy's golf crew has done the RTJ trail trip a couple times and absolutely loves it.There's a lot of stereotypes about the state that are not true, though some of them are. I grew up in Mobile and live in Huntsville now. RTJ Trail is pretty cool, it's just super crowded these days. And some are much better than others.Huntsville was my favorite part as a kid, one of my favorite family memories. this was exactly my thought. 2 years from now and JH staff. they are very tight.Dude will be on an NFL staff in 2027.......one of the Harbaughs prollly
No arraignment today sure seems like something might need a fixer involved. Assault investigation is all we really know at this point and going to be in custody for over 24 hours? That's one way to stoke the rumor mill.Very unusual Moore is still in custody. He has to know some good lawyers and he has the money to retain one. In a normal assault case a lawyer can have bond set and the have the guy back on the street by this time
I haven't seen any explanation of why he is still in custody, but there has to be some unusual circumstances that are not present in most cases.
Is he still in custody or is it a 5150 psych hold?Very unusual Moore is still in custody. He has to know some good lawyers and he has the money to retain one. In a normal assault case a lawyer can have bond set and the have the guy back on the street by this time

@bookieassassin yesterday i thought zero zero zero chance and our friend @B.A.R. saw that and said there is more than a zero chance.
i have come around on this bigly today. i see the fire under the smoke.
but think how this is impacting Bama players prepping to play in Norman at night next Friday.
it is like it is a self-fulfilling prophecy about to happen.
added pressure no?I think the distraction for Bama (vs OU) is literally zero - no player thinks he leaves Bama. If Bama wins, the chance he leaves is very remote probably - but if they lose?
I think Bama wins - he stays put.
There is nothing on the Alabama end to think he has any interest in leaving. Pete Thamel reported the same. I guess we’ll see. Seems like a pretty messy situation in Ann Arbor. And while there are 100s of keyboard warriors and talk radio callers who don’t like KDB, the vast majority of fans and the administration are happy with the direction and trajectory of the program
I mean, Saban was going to Texas for like 8 years in a row. Penn St did reach out. So did/will Michigan. But De Boer isn't listening, and it's certainly not impacting the preparation for Oklahoma. Chris Low (who is as connected to the SEC and Alabama in particular) has also reported that DeBoer isn't interested in leaving. For some reason, there's just this idea that DeBoer is looking to get out, even though his words and actions say the exact opposite. And if DeBoer is scared of the expectations and pressure at Alabama, why would Michigan even want him?I would not put any stock in anything right now.
If he comes out and says he is interested in leaving, it will become even messier.
the best thing he can do is let UM talk to his people.
UM has very good talent on the team starting with 5 star recruit QB underwood who we all know, who will be a Soph next year.
Right now, he may get the offramp he *may* be looking for.
i don't have a dog in this fight. but his name keeps getting tied to high profile jobs now.
first penn state now michigan.
where there is this much smoke there might be a little fire underneath.
How does this connect to soccer at all?All I know is that if anyone on here knows KDB (the II in my book) they need to forward this thread to him. It will saturate his ego to no end.
That means it was worse than you/we think and Michigan had money.Very unusual Moore is still in custody. He has to know some good lawyers and he has the money to retain one. In a normal assault case a lawyer can have bond set and the have the guy back on the street by this time

I had to look it up lolI might be the only person on the Bama boards who thinks of De Bruyne every time I see "KDB"
So you aren't in for the trip when they unveil the statue?I had to look it up lol
What about a motorcycle accident with one?Kalen will listen only because that’s what it takes to get fired at Michigan, I hate to put things simply for y’all.
Bama will fire him in a second and they ain’t gotta be pregnant staff members
I mean, we fired a coach for using the school credit card on strippers before he even coached a game....What about a motorcycle accident with one?
There are many things I don't approve of tax payer money being used for but keeping those women employed is a win for everyoneI mean, we fired a coach for using the school credit card on strippers before he even coached a game....

He also has a 5 star QB (#2 overall behind BU) that will be a RS freshman next year. And I'd wager the WR talent is ahead at Alabama.
I get the feeling you're that dude that loves people being wrongI knew all of those 8 years that Saban was not leaving Bama.
There are many people connected to the UM program who think is going. It's done.
There are many people connected to the Bama program (such as yourself) who are certain he is staying.
Both sides seem quite certain they are right.
One of the sides is going to have egg all over the face. Yolk running down their cheeks !!
No.I get the feeling you're that dude that loves people being wrong
If so, nerd
Being wrong is a learning experienceNo.
But i do enjoy being right.
It is interesting the Michiganders I know who are so certain that KD is going there.
And now the Bammer folks who are so sure he is staying.
Anything is possible at this point.
Someone will be wrong.
Some OM fans were dead wrong about Lane going to LSU.
Someone will be right and someone will be wrong.
It is life.
But, it is fun to be right.
My best guess? I don't know but if forced I would bet he stays at Bama.
I was very certain Lane was going to LSU all the way back in late October. By Halloween, I was certain.
Zero chance lane goes from lsu to bama. Zero.If KD were to leave which I don’t think he is… Who are the bama candidates ?
Does Lane jump on a plane to Tuscaloosa??
Sark?
Zero chance Lane is welcome in Tuscaloosa
What are you talking about? Spiro nailed the story from the start. As did Buckeye Scoop.I don't know even what half this tweet says but I would take anything from Spiro with a grain of salt.
He is the worst of the worst from East Lansing.
