What the coach did OFF the field is a tragedy. The string of events is tragic.
Emotions can take hold of a person and it can lead them down a terrible path.
As it relates to his coaching ability and his criticism by
@Brewers888 or anyone else whose criticism I may have missed, I am trying to understand it.
The school is basically on probation since JH left after the 2023 championship year.
8 wins last year. (7 + bowl)
9 reg season wins this year. Beat some decent teams even though they have a true frosh QB (name another true frosh QB not named Jamelle Holieway or Trevor Lawrence in the last 40 years who ever took their team to the promised land?) and freshman all over the field.
The 3 losses?
at Oklahoma (CFP #8 seed)
at USC (9-3) and just outside playoff field
vs Ohio State (CFB #2 seed)
I am trying to get to the root of why you think he was not up to the task when the UM brass clearly thought otherwise until this scandal broke.
All things considered, the team had a very good season.
