At first look I love Ohio State. If they beat USC you have already won the bet. If they lose there is still a damn good chance you win the bet. It is very unlikely you lose the bet. At worst you should push

The other ones should drop over the next couple of days. I still need to look at the rest of these teams schedules. I've looked at players but haven't analyzed schedules in the least yet

Still not a bad bet on the under IMO. Bama in the Ga Dome is going to go into the 4th quarter close. We might win and we might not but it's certainly loseable. We play @Wake, @FSU and @BC in conference. We never play well at Wake and they are going to be pretty damn good this year. As weird as it is to say this is probably the game that scares Clemson fans the most. Our defense does not perform well against misdirection. Playing @ Doak is always tough. We won there last year and have now beaten FSU 4 of the last 5 times we've played. They are real pissed off about it and its going to be tough to win at night in Doak. We haven't beaten BC since they joined the ACC. Until we do I won't call it a certain win though on paper Clemson should win by 3 TDs this year. A game I forgot to mention is @ UVA a week before the SC game. Clemson is something like 3-5 the game before the last SC game over the last 8 years. I don't think UVA is going to be good but they may be good enough to beat Clemson if we overlook them. Spurrier vs. Clemson has been close all 3 years. Each year it has come down to the final possession. It could very well happen again this year. It's certainly possible to see Tommy go 8-4 or 9-3 again, but he's certainly got the tools in place to get double digit wins this year. I think the line is pretty fair
 
My first thought was the same as yours. how can the juice on Ohio State only be 110 to the over? They only play about two losable games so in order to lose the bet they would need to lose those two and another.

Missouri Over 9 -170? Regardless of the juice, this is an auto-bet right?

Arizona St Under 8.5 -135 looks good as well. They could easily start 3-3 as they have a stretch that includes Georgia, @USC, and @Cal all in a row. If they lose those games, they would then have to sweep the last 6, which includes Oregon, @Washington, and @Arizona.

Oklahoma Over 10 -105 looks good to me as well. The conference schedule sets up well. All of the really challenging games are all at home: Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas Tech. They do have a possible early loss to Cincinnati. :smiley_acbe:

I would also lean to the over 9 for Texas Tech and the under 7 for A&M, but I don't like them nearly as much as the above three.

Colorado 5 (though this seemed low to me. Tough schedule, though)

I love a bet on Nebraska at 7 as that really seems a worst case scenario imo. Kansas over 8 is a bet at +120 for sure. They're not getting much respect. I still they are a very solid team and have a chance at winning 10. Tougher schedule for sure, but they have a chance at South Florida, at Nebraska, and in KC against Mizzou. Colorado might be a bet too, but I need a little more info on them. I do think Hawkins is good for blowing a game or two with stupid risks that he takes.

Also, I'm not sure how Mizzou goes 8-4. I have 6 games for them that gimmes (Colorado, At Baylor, Kansas St., SE Missouri, Nevada, and Buffalo.) I also have them favored in every game they play except I have At Texas a pick em for right now.
 
Several of these just changed. Texas Tech is at -180 now. Missouri at -200. We need some discussion here before more drastic changes.

There are a couple of tricky ones in there, but you are right in that they should lose 3 at most. It's at 240 now though, and for some reason I am more sure about Missouri.
 
DMoney, I agree on the Arizona State under. Its very likely that they start out 3-3. Though they will likely be favored in every game from then on I see them favored by less than 7 against Oregon, Oregon St, UCLA, Arizona and possibly even at Washington.

Colorado Under looks like a possible play. They have what I consider 3 sure wins including Col St, E Washington and Iowa State. They will more than likely lose to Florida State, Kansas, West Va, Texas, Missouri, A&M and Nebraska IMO. That leaves Kansas state and Oklahoma State as swing games. Maybe I'm underestimating them but to lose that bed they would have to win both swing games as well as 2 of the games that I think they should lose. I just don't see it happening for Hawkins this year

Florida State Over 8. They only have 1 sure loss on the schedule and that's against the Gators. They only have 3 sure wins though IMO. This team has a bunch of games that could go either way and though I think they have the capability to win 10 games, I just can't play them at 8. Though I do honestly believe they win 8 or 9

I believe they are damn near replacing their entire OL. This coupled in with the fact that Tommy seems to blow AT LEAST 2 games/year, the UNDER is looking rather tempting to myself.

clemsons schedule is a joke but they still are clemson and will not hit the 10 game mark.. there linebackers are pretty much gone... Um Fsu under 8 if they hit 9 wins great but i doubt they get there..

just a slight feeling but this seems to me like trap line. a lot of people seem to be high on georgia but the division and the bulldogs' schedule is so tough. wouldn't be surprised to see them winning only 8 or 9 games and losing @auburn, @lsu, florida (neutral game) and maybe even the game @ arizona st could be really tough for them

yeah, the "trap line" jumped out at me rather quicklt too. I do think that they can beat Auburn and AZ State as well however.

yes of course they can but i think @ auburn will be very difficult for the bulldogs.
a lot of people are hammering the over because they think the line is way off but i just think that regarding the tough division and their schedule the line was set pretty accurate.

Oh, I'm on board with ya, I was just stating why I liked the OVER that's all. It certainly seems like a trap line and given the crazy world of the SEC anything is possible. Any other totals jumping out at ya? Any thoughts on that Penn State win total?

to be honest i have psu winning 8 to 9 games, so the line is set very accurate at 8.5 in my opinion. they have a managable schedule in august and september but the games in october could be difficult for them having 3 road trips an michigan at home.

some totals i like: washington over 4.5, kansas u 8.5 and maybe auburn over 9.0. any thoughts?
 
The Greek is offering LSU Over 9 -105

I think the over is the play here. I doubt LSU drops more than three games this season. At 9-3, the bet pushes. The most likely scenario is another 10-2 season. The total is this low because of the uncertainty surrounding the QB position, road games at UF and Auburn, and a home game against UGA.
