BC - Most people I see are using Philly 107, 106; it's as high as 109 at Jazz (10 cent lines) so for the time being - he is.
 
GJL - i was thinking the same thing yesterday... weird considering how awful he's been most of the year.

I'm sure when he was going good in Oakland he had some 7s.

Does Buehrle deserve to be a -145 road fave today? The Sox are 3-9 in his 12 road starts, & he sports a .303 opp ba on the road. Tough backing Davies, but I don't agree with this line.

Also think that Byrd could be worth the play. Slowly gave up 5 er in 6 ip last meeting vs the Tribe. The Twins have won 7 of his last 8 starts, so I can see why the line is high, but Byrd has looked much better in his last 2 outings (13ip 1er vs Detroit & @ Angels).
 
Its Saturday. Homer ump I believe and Sonnanstine is on 5 days rest which is his best this year. Everybody knows that Tampa is in trouble. Rogers is a lefthander. Sonnanstine has been pitching bad. Its sort of a day game which some times is not good for him. I see a lot of picks for Detroit. Waiting for ump info. Still its Saturday. The day where Tampa has won 9 straight at home this season and where he has pitched two very good home wins. I'd be lying if I said I was not interested in backing him against an old man who has had trouble in domes in general and Tampa specificly.
Thinking over in Cubs and Pitt at least first half. Hate to go against the chart and Moose has been very good at home on Saturday but he has done very poorly with this ump and vs Angels.

May wanna check the KC lineup today Lex. Buehrle sucks but KC may be without Guillen, Grudz, and DeJesus.

Its pricey but ATL has regressed mightily and traded a stud and lost other studs to injuries . SP DL Smoltz , Glavine and Huddy . Traded Tex . Chipper and Mat Diaz (very key vs LHP) DL. McCann concussion .

Plus recent PEN issues .

#4 Hitter = Omar Infante . Who is quite solid vs LHP and very good role player to have vs LH's but says alot about there team.

Two best hitters vs LHP are kelly Johnson who is LH (Kotchman as well) and this is CC not the avg LH and Infante at 317 . Neither have Hred though Infante has pop.

Escobar hitting 3rd is next with 261 avg 2hrs . The 2Hrs are 33% of the team total of 6 as Francouer has 3 and Prado 1.

Blanco 259 but 28K in 81 abs

So hard to pass on MILW and Under might correspond as Morton is beter vs RHSP and gets to throw to his ML catcher .

Brewers scary hot on the road 10-1 and ATL nice recently after being shutout but with Sheets a bit weaker then CC and better on paper matchup plus Campillo earning 2 solid stars vs MILW already . The premium today is better IMO then tmrw with Sheets.

Also;
NYY ML - Old Timers Day and Moose in the day with solid history vs LAA . Probable over for me after 1-0 game an automatic play usually.

WSox ML- Buerhle real solid vs KC this year and past 2 with some KC injuries and Grienke vs Richard tmrw......BOL
 
Funny shit as soon as I post again my computer slows down and screws me . Didnt get anywhere near the $$ on wanted on MILW , NYY and WSOX or the parlays I wanted . Plus smaller over 9 play...so frustrating ......guess more of a WSOX and NYY fan....and have to love getting locked out because they change a price and ask you to resubmit then tell you its OTB....Fuckers !

-lost his 1st career away start on a Sat (AUG) back in 2002 since then 14-3 with all loses by 1 run . Losing 4-3 @ Sabtahia , Losing 4-3 King Felix and 2-1 @ Chris Young when he was still a Ranger . The original loss was 3-1

-18 AUG, SAT starts his team allowed more then 4 runs in just 3 of those 18 games but recently since 2006 (4,4,4,4,7,3,5) the 4 is the most current and 5 oldest back in 2006. He himself allowed 4 earned runs in just three of the 18 NEVER more. At least 6 innings in every one since the 1st and remember he was a converted reliever back in those days so besides the fact it was 2002 the 1st couple starts I take with a grain of salt for him. In the past 16 SAT starts just 4 times he failed to go 7 innings lasting 6 in those .

In the losses 4 were by 1 run . Crazy that last year he was jsut 3-3 but 6-0 in 2006 and 4-2 in 2005 plus the last two he won in 2004. Lost season CC beat him twice and Minny was weak and Cle knocked off NYY in the playoffs . The other loss was King Felix.

Oswalt coming back from the hi injury had about 80-90 pitch limit last outing . h eis 10-10 last 20 SAT starts. (7-10 L17) Lost all 2008 Sat starts. Allowing 14 runs in 19.2 no better then 3 runs in 6 innings. Though at home 8-2 in the past 20 making him 2-8 away in those 2o as well. All 3 in 2008 were away. Some real weak opposing SPs in those home starts though.

Johan has 3 starts away in 2008 pitching with an extra day off and gone 22 inn allowing 17 hits 6runs 1 hr 0bbs to 19 Ks those were @ ATL and Philly twice.

Johan never faced HOUS but a veteran lineup has seen him often especially with Wiggy , Tejada , Lee playing so long in the AL and even Loretta / Erstad if they start.

Big question here is this . Roy Oswalt just how healthy for a guy with a sos-so track record vs NYM. The PENS decided teh game yesterday . Mets load the bases with no out and Hous ESCAPES. Shicking that HOUS then loaded the bases . Difference was Loretta hist a 2 out GS.

Houston at home 6-7 vs LHSP.

Tough game but have to lean Mets . Like NYM tmrw but scare point is Oliver Perez when he struggles its because of hi sinability to get RHB out and well thats what Houston is built on but his 4 career starts have been a success vs them. Howveer his lone start @ Minute Maid was a disaster 7 runs in 5+ innings ....

Tough game - Oswalt said he was fatigued in his last outing and that was 74 pitches . Which is the main reason I prefer the Mets here. Not crazy about the price but Oswalt is down this season and was recently only -140 to -150 at home vs Cueto offthe DL. Also Pedro was a PK vs Backe.

In there 10 wins EVERY game they held there opposition to 3 runs or less . In all 7 losses the opponent scored 4 or mor runs .

So do you think Det scores 3 or less ? Your answer basically decided who to play.

Also 14-3 UNDER at home vs LHSP but 2-2 L4 after 12 straight unders vs LHSP at home (opened the season with an over)

Out West if I recall balt is 3-20 on the road when it scores runs or less and 19-4 UNDER in those games. So if you like King Felix to hold them to 3 runs or less then SEA-UNDER but especially under . If you see Balt scoring 4 + then its an over as I believe May8th is teh last time they scored 4 runs on the road and went UNDER thats somewhere around 22 straight overs scoring 4 or better away....

GL Bass. I got distracted by Old Timers and cost me a TON of $$$. I had just about everything at 3:55 right outside of the WSox and of course that washed out my winnings . Pissed is an understatement .

Have Over 9 @ Boston but as much as like Lester I feared he would get hit today since Oak has swung okay vs him . Went Bos ML and Oak +1.5 hoping for Sox to win by 1 run.....Pap also went 2 innings yesterday.

I went Philly big game for them even with Myers improvement . Not a fan of either SP but AJ to NL is always a plus and well Looper has a terrible tracj record when facing Philly mostly as a reliever ...

Playing Tor ML maybe under 10.5 ...GL bro

Tough one IMO. Not sure ARI is playing better then LAD sems they are doing similiar things and outisde of a game here and there at home there pitching has been amazing. They lost 2-1 games to hot SPs who were better then there SP. Not much of a suprise and they pulled out both late .

Petit different situation now since he is in the rotation as opposed to trying to crack with owings demotion. Also not very streteched out more then 6 innings would be a huge suprise. Kuroda suddenly fell apart past 3 starts but at times has been amazing. Zona still weak vs RHSP especially away and with Manny in the middle LAD's lineup is clearly better then ARI. Just dont see any edge 's for ARI. Price is fair probably cheap if anything due to Kuroda past few starts but he did settle down after a terrible inning vs SFG .

With Jason Johnson going tmrw even vs a LH Davis you want to make sure you win here and not have the sweep game tmrw. Plus you know LAD and Torre want to get a WIN quickly to get the pressure of Manny .

With 5 straight in the series decided by 1 run think its a nice spot for a LAD -1.5 play and once could even play LAD -1.5 vs ARI -1.5 ARL or be simple and play ARI ML...just dont expect a 1 run decision here...

When ARI is facing a RHSP on the road and the dont start Haren or Webb the Backs are 5-14 SU.

LAD ML and -1.5 RL for me ....Like that LAD has allowed 2 or less runs in 7 of 8 on this stand but the exception is Kuroda's home start....

Careful with that. His WHIP was 1.5 and he only struck out 2 batters. He's going to have to do a lot better to get my money...I know it was a shutout and thats hard to argue with, but when you don't strike guys out and you put a lot of guys on base, you aren't going to be successful very often.

I parlayed SD ML with Cubs ML (tomorrow)....

also playing under 7 for a half unit...

both teams struggle immensley vs LHSP.... peavy with a 1.45 ERA at home this year... marsh behind the dish who is a serious homer.
 
SEA & Under parlayed .

Think 3-2 and 4-2 when these two opposed eachother so far in 2008 . With each team splitting 1 . King Felix has been very good in both starts . Yesterday 15 runs scored - the )'s got 8 runs with 2 outs in the 5th inning and no one on...fluke ? Then M's got 5 in the bottom 9th down 10-0 . Thats basically 13 runs which came on a crazy situation and meaningless situation. Add in Emmel behind the dish and this just makes sense. Also SEA really needs a home win and with Silva facing Cabrera tmrw clearly best chance to scrap one out IMO....prefer SEA ML as well....

Freaking Wagner blows it ! Cost me a 4 team parlay as well. Lets see missed a bunch of 3:55 plays and now 14-6 but up no money .....have to love it !
