Probably would say be very cautious playing any Yankee unders in the near future especially with Wang going on Saturday.He seems a little off and I know he went for an MRI inbewteen the Met and Mariner starts.He was shaky vs Seattle and allowed 12 runs despite not being hit very hard in his last 2 starts. He had been excellent on the road so far. The Yanks pen no longer has Joba Chamberlain to bridge the gap to Mariano as he will get his 1st ML start on Tuesday. Probably a good move to play ther 1st inning will there be a score prop YES. Anyway Boonser pitching for his spot in the rotation it seems as Baker is rehabbing on the same schedule. Yanks bats are alive and well since Arod returned . Melky was slumping terribly for awhile had 3 hits and just alot of frozen ropes from what I saw ....So I know Miller is calling the game but Twins pen is getting alot of work lately and not up to previous standards either....looking at the over...

Boonser has been much better in his career going on 5 days rest vs extended except this season..limited sample but huge difference....in April basically went every 6th day and had a solid month while May every 5th day and he has been terrible...so what does a week do?

Day game out in Seattle. Verlander is slowly getting his act together and has some good day splits even this year high ERA but great BAA. He gets 6days rest after tossing 120 pitches which in the past since he is a power arm really hasnt hurt him much although this year after throwing 115 + twice he has struggled. Great thing about Verlander is the Tigers dont give him any run support . Last 10 starts they scored 2 or less 8 times and actually 0 or 1 6 times the other games double digits . Hernandez his opponent doesnt get much supoort either with 6 starts straight under 3 runs and 9 of his last 10 4 runs or less. Kulpa behind the dish really prefers home teams . How bout 52-25 last 2 + seasons for his homies ! While his strike percentage might indicate over I will disagree strongly. Look at his stats his games have seen alot of runs from bullpens which is scary looking at Det and Seattle. This year 1st 6 innings only 5.5 runs which is actually better then Miller 's breakdown...Anyway we know about DET day struggles and tonoght 11 runs well Tigers got 7 in the 1st and Sea had 4 hits and 4 runs last I checked ....thinking SEA and UNDER..

Kazmir has been exceptional so far and dont see why that changes . Vazquez has been very good as well but his stats on 5 dyas rest are rather medicore especially compared to his starts with more rest.Also LHB are 314 almost 100 pts then RHB which we know TB starts with 3 LH in its 1st few batters....

Eazy E calling strikes in TB so that makes both SP real attractive but still prefer TB here even with WSox good track record vs LHSP.

In Boston might prefer Boston again. I liked Beckett today thinking that number was set high to attract Balt flow but passed . Red Sox just better vs LHP then Baltimore is that simple ...have to look at the pens...Lester L3 vs O's just 4 runs in 19 innings with 15 hits while Olsen is better then his 2007 version he struggled vs RSox in 2007. Albers and Okajima probably not available...think O's have dropped like 10 of 12 at home vs LHSP...actually Bos 10-2 L12 vs LH while O's are 3-12 L15....


CC is dealing with one hiccup whch was versus KC at home in hi spast 7 starts which somehow he lost 4 of 7. Only 4 rund last 30 innings and 5 runs last 44 if we skip that KC start....Davies being recalled has potential but thats about all. Possible under here....

Dont undersatnd why Oakland is favored vs Texas. Feldman has been solid at home and real tough on OAK. Blanton has been consistently decent but not much better . Rangers lineup is just better...lean Texas..

The NL.....

Finally an obscene number vs COL. Dempster has been good at home and hard to believe COL anything but flat here. Rusch does get his former team and throwing well in AAA might look at the under which makes laying -1.5 tough....just wont fade Cubbies at home vs LHP ...

Fogg should get ripped up by ATL so leaning that way and OVER

Pelfrey has stunk lately but hard to lay money with LAD on the road vs a RHP somewhere near 33% winning pct.....

SD vs LHSP always looks like a fade

Not a Marlins buyer so looking at Philly as Nolasco is just to hittable....

Even with Webb is Zona just an automatic fade ?? Think so but more under.....Bergmann NO runs allowed in 3 starts and 19.2 inning only 14 hits and a ton of Ks 22...Webb has basically alowed 3 or more runs to his recent opponents especially the other NL East teams NYM , Philly , ATL and Fla.....wanted like 240 or better though...
 
not put off considering the Over in Balty again. It's not like there wasn't a million baserunners for it to have had a shot in game 1.
Lester will still be on the down plateau off that no-hitter high, and his last 4 road starts have seen the home team score 4, 7, 6 & 6 runs. Has a high of 4 SOs in a road start, so Balty get relief after Beckett fired out 10 the same way Friday.
Sox have scored in 2 of their last 25 innings, I simply don't see that continuing if they continue winning ways.
Ump is better regarding Over stats, and early weather watch isnt negative.
Olsen has 1 start thats totaled less than 7 runs, and has had home run support of 7, 5 & 6 runs.
 
Virtually all umpire and days of the week angles seem to point to Webb and Arizona. That direction seems impossible. 2 of Bergmann's recent starts were in the day. First thought was a first half bet. Arizona has been so bad late not sure that is reasonable. Maybe just do both.
 
In the minors Banks pitshed pretty well at home but in his last 4 road games gave up 16 runs in 13.1 innings.
 
Fogg sucks and Atlanta should take that game. I have no idea why the Reds are favored, maybe because they have great home numbers and Atlanta has been on a slight slump...

But this looks like a classic throw away game for the Reds if there ever was one. They are gonna be stuggling with the rotation until they can find someone to take the place of Belisle/Goggy Foggy...
 
nvm its too early... disregard that last post I wasn't looking at the line clearly. -130 for Atlanta is still good value IMO.

i think that was the first RL bet i made all year. i take huge fav's all the time no problem and the one time i take -1.5 of course it is a one run win.
 
jimbo, it happens.. Take a walk or go to the gym or something.. always helps me after bad beats like that. Dont bet till you've cleared your head or you will lose probably more then you can afford..
 
I lose so many RL bets by the hook it's unbelievable. Cubs today was no exception. Scotty Pods hitting a HR off the best reliever in the NL - sick stuff.
 
If it makes you feel any better Jimbo just about every tough loss you had recently in MLB I think I had as well. I had a small parlay and last second changed to Cubs -1.5 for the better payout over CHI ML...

Put it this way its a tough beat but you know your fucked when Cubs are stranding runners (9hits in 4.2 off Rusch) and dont score after the 5thinning...it just bound to go against you..I lost 4 plays in MLB yesterday and 3 were dogs that lost by a run ....KC , ATL and Pitt...so I feel ya ..
 
and such a silly play on SFG thats a loser...I knew it and still played it..SD starting to hit and SFG wast gonna start Molina and Aurilia banged up , Ortty on the DL , Durham rested , be shocked if they won here...real shocked

Good start so far SEA , UND SEA , OVER CINCY , and small play on NYM while losing my dumb play on SFG.

Mets should have had the lead in the 4th or 5th inning but repeatedly stranded 2 runners with less then 2 outs ! One of those games where the line is doing two things . Setting LAD as fav to entice NYM action or vice versa ....no way LAD should be favored against NYM on the road facing a RHP even named Pelfrey...anyway cant lay chalk with LAD vs RHSP ..or even take them as small dogs same shit happened with Bilingsley vs Dempster pitched great but they didnt hit.......anyway thats the guesssing game we play..riding the WSox right now small......

Didnt do to much missed Twinkies +1.5 RL and over @ Camden as they went OTB...played Boston , Philly ML and more on the RL , Over @ KC , small over @ STL and 1st inn score @ STL YES thanks to Pitts late rally...playing Nats as well couldnt resist
 
Fucked around small with Texas +100 and RL +180 and Nats +200 and +1.5 -110 ....dont like WASH w/o FLores but think they are about 6-8 with Nieves starting . ZONA just has to show me something and I wouldnt be suprised if they DBacks bounce back here but dont want to pay for a slumping lineup...
 
another monsterous loss for me on a blown save in cincy. double kick in the nuts because i have soriano on my fantasy. i lost more than i can afford on that one.
 
rolled with the UNDER @ TExas but teams not hitting lately . Even Texas has been scoring 2 or 3 runs in the past 5,6,7 games minus one outburst. A's just havent done much since Hurt went down...

Tough one . Stayed away cause Jurjens sucked vs Zona so didnt think he warranted being chalk even vs Fogg .....:cheers:
 
For the late game, I don't see any way that i can lay money against lackey despite how great Marcum has been this year on the road. After yesterday's explosion of offense, I see sciosa stressing the importance of keeping the runs down. Angels are also not scoring worth crap lately. The 4 runs they scored last night is there most in the last 4-5 games i believe. Gotta trust lackey to shutdown the jays in this fairly cool socal weather... like the under and a little on angels ml in a low scoring game.
 
With ya TB....parlayed LAA and under 7.5 might add some ML....getting my balls kicked in with philly ...1 unit costs me 2.4 ...oh well first big chalk loser of the year and its somewhat small just at a bad time
