FYI - Tblazers just finished in Indiana - a game they should have won and lost in OT. Twolves started 2nd qtr in New Orleans

-this game tip off in Minnesota 8 local time..

If you look at Utah after a 20 or greater loss at home they are 1-2 ATS
If you look at Miami on the road on Saturday

I looked at all these game logs. Playing Miami team total first 5 worked in all but the 97-81 game. If you think Utah fights the miami team total should cash

Lot of arguments for Houston but last 3 games Milwaukee has been really hitting their three's. Worst game they hit 39.1% at Memphis

Phx has not lost 3 straight ATS all season BUT a quick look reveals they have not been good this season on 2 days rest. Would like to hear more but right now lean GS

I don't like tonight's games at all.
Small lean towards Minny, but Love's question mark (he is listed as probable though), makes it a hard bet to take.

same, was leaning wolves, but just noticed they suck in B2B and have a negative record while POR is good in B2B. Also Kevin love is doubtful, would have preferred bet minny-2 on 1 day rest. but yeah understand the spot with the tough loss in OT for POR

Interesting game in Minnesota. Portland playing 3/4 off an OT game in Indiana, a game they felt they should have won. The trip has not been much of a success as they have gone 1-2 on the trip so far. They clearly were not ready for Washington, bounced back in NY and gave a large effort last night in Indiana. Portland is 9-4 SU (8-5 ATS) on 0 days rest. The Blazers have had very few injuries, but clearly this missed Mo Williams last night off the bench. Watson and Mccullum filled in playing 12 mins each. I wouldn't be surprised if Batum missed tonight, he's not the toughest dude in the world, and his nagging injuries appear to be affecting his play (4 pts on 1-8 shooting in 44 mins last night). In their last 20 games (12/30/13 to 2/7/14) the Blazers are barely .500 sitting at 11-9. Their PR is +0.393 during this period compared to +0.938 for the season. Minnesota is playing their 4th in 5, and are the more physically beat down team. Missing Pek has hurt them, and Love is day-to-day and ? for tonight. Moreover, Portland arrived in Minny before the Twolves, who by all accounts didn't get in until 5 am. Needless to say tonight will be a challenge from a physical standpoint. Minny has been bad on B2B going 4-9 SU, so tonight's situation does not bode well for them. Over their past 20, the Twolves have gone 9-11 SU, but sport an AMOV of 7.2 at home. The majority of my formulas say Minny should be a 2.5 pt favorite. They opened at 1, but I expect Portland to close as the favorite. Looking elsewhere.

Lamarcus Aldridge has looked like he is fixing games the past two games

what RIDICULOUS mistakes the blazers made yesterday... they were basically leading for 95% of the game... there really are no veterans on the blazers to keep them in the right frame of mind. A very young group

I think Mo Williams is one of those vet's and he was missed last night for sure.

Andrew Bogut (shoulder) will not play on Saturday, contrary to previous reports. - Jermaine oneil will start
Lee is out

Parker, Duncan, Diaw ready to return Saturday
Tiago Splitter's status for Saturday's game is uncertain due to a bruised calf.

Paul Millsap (illness) will play vs. the Grizzlies on Saturday.

if anybody gets injury updates for the Rockets or bucks please post early....
Hope to post my buckaroo plays of the day based on injuries and if we get over 80 guests viewing.... :announce:

Would think that the absence of L.ee and Bogut means GS has to go up tempo.
3 players have been a real problem for the Suns last 2 games. Plumlee especially last game. Frye and Green who have been playing very bad last 2
I Think Plumlee has a good game after his award. I think Frye and Green may show in this spot. Refs seem to favor GS.

portland was lucky to win the game in ny….could easily be 0-3…they are playing poorly currently imo

Before OKC Memphis had won the first quarter away in 6 games
Atlanta is playing without big men and somewhat inconsistent in the first quarter

Would think that the absence of L.ee and Bogut means GS has to go up tempo..

I think so too. Only problem I see is the possibility of another slow start for them, 16 pts and 13 pts in their last two 1st quarters. I'm betting on that not happening tonight

[h=2]NUGGETS AT PISTONS, 7:30 P.M. ET[/h] February 8, 2014 · 6:26PM
TV: NBA TV

  • Nuggets shooting guard Randy Foye tweaked his hamstring during the 117-90 loss at New York on Friday but he will play tonight.
  • Denver coach Brian Shaw is glad the team has a quick turnaround after its most lopsided loss this season. “It’s an opportunity for us to put yesterday’s game behind us,” he said. “Usually, for us, it’s the other way around. We’ve had big wins and said ‘Don’t make that win go for naught by slipping up the next night.’ Last night was a bad loss.”
  • Detroit center Andre Drummond leads the Eastern Conference in rebounding (13.0 per game), including a career-high 22 during Detroit’s 111-95 victory over Brooklyn on Friday. “We try to explain on film as well as in our scouting report how much of a beast Andre Drummond is on the boards,” Shaw said. “I don’t think they’ll really fully understand it until he’s out there pushing them underneath the basket.”
  • Pistons forward Josh Smith twisted an ankle late in Friday’s game but he will start.
  • Detroit coach Mo Cheeks is worried about the penetration of Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson. “They pose a lot of challenges because they race the ball up the floor and they have guys that rebound the ball extremely well,” he said. “Ty Lawson is a guy who loves to live in the paint and we haven’t been very good at guarding the ball.”

[h=2]SPURS AT BOBCATS, 7 P.M. ET[/h] February 8, 2014 · 6:11PM
TV: League Pass

  • Tiago Splitter will not play tonight against Charlotte. The Spurs’ center has a right calf contusion which he tested pre-game, but ultimately decided he was unable to play. Splitter is averaging just 5.0 points and 6.8 rebounds in 24.3 minutes per game since returning from injury. Marco Belinelli will also be sidelined against the Bobcats due to back spasms. Belinelli is listed as day-to-day and could return Monday vs. Detroit which is the first of San Antonio’s final two games before the All-Star break.

  • The Spurs’ mash unit also includes Manu Ginobli (left hamstring tightness), who did not make the trip, and Kawhi Leonard (Non-displaced fracture of right fourth metacarpal). San Antonio will welcome Tony Parker (low back tightness), Tim Duncan (rest) and Boris Diaw (food poisoning).

  • Al Jefferson has played like an all-star of late and would seem to benefit the most with the absence of Splitter Saturday night. Jefferson averaged 28.8 points and 12.0 rebounds during Charlotte’s four-game road swing where the team picked up three wins.

  • Charlotte coach Steve Clifford said before the game that he liked the tempo and pace at which the Bobcats played on its west coast road swing and hoped the team could continue in that fashion. The team averaged 99.3 points in those four games.

  • Kemba Walker was back in the lineup Wednesday night against Golden State after missing the previous seven games with a left ankle sprain. Walker scored seven points in 33 minutes of action and dished out seven assists. Walker was not in game shape after missing games due to injury, but Clifford said his point guard was much closer to game-shape after two days of practice in Charlotte.

Plus the Bucks are 2-7 ATS at home on Saturdays this season while the Rockets are 4-1 ATS on the road on Saturdays this season...

if anybody gets injury updates for the Rockets or bucks please post early....
Hope to post my buckaroo plays of the day based on injuries and if we get over 80 guests viewing.... :announce:

too many injuries for my buckaroo play

Suns 1st half tt over 53. grand canyon size
rockets tt over 55

1st half over in Phoenix my favorite play for tonight. Regarding a bad start for GS they are much more overish in their away 1st quarters than at home

Spurs missed by a half point. That's 2 losses in 2 days by a half point for me. Really discouraging...

Bucks now 7-14 ATS as an 8+ dog (1-5 ATS as a DD home dog) on the season.

Bucks win consecutive 4th quarters for the 1st time all season.

plus i could never back the rockets on the road... the team has a great home court and plays a lot lazier on the road from what I have seen

Starting to get annoyed at Miami. Sure the game before the Suns, Bosh and LeBron shoot 3-12 and 4-13 so they play the Suns off a loss.
